Supermysigt hotell i gammalt snett och knarrigt hus med mycket charm. Väl tilltaget rum med stora fönster och himmelsäng. Trevlig restaurang och personal.

Bar food and staff are excellent. We took our dog who is well behaved and staff fussed over her. Room was clean and comfortable. Very old pub so sloping floors were bit of a giggle. Parking at St Julians carpark is a doodle if you down load the app. 5 mins walk from the pub. People moan about noise from pub in rooms in some reviews but they shut up by 10:30 and it becomes quiet as a church yard so no problem. (Might be different when they have live music so best check if you retire early)

Great place to stay, a short walk from Shrewsbury railway station and the main shopping street just around the corner. Friendly welcome, the superior double with en suite was clean and comfortable. Lovely quality bed and pillows, a great nights sleep as secondary glazing blocks out road noise. Lovely bar staff and food excellent. Liked the fact that your room key opens the front door ( if pub not open ) and the internal door that leads upstairs to the bedrooms so you could come and go as you please without going through the bar. Will definitely return.

Didn't use the Bar, but staff were helpful and friendly. Suited our needs to stay in Shrewsbury, a lovely town to explore. Parking which needs to apt for a few minutes walk downhill near the river. No parking at the accommodation.
