The location was great. Easy walking distance to Maroochydore shopping centre, the beach, the surf club, bowling club and rsl. The pool was heated and the spa was hot. Good facilities for kids. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable. We didn't have the views advertised on wotif and there was a 2 burner cook top but no pots or pans. The washing machine and dryer were very useful with laundry detergent provided. We found using the tv with foxtel installed very cumbersome to use. Overall a good stay.

The location was great. Easy walking distance to Maroochydore shopping centre, the beach, the surf club, bowling club and rsl. The pool was heated and the spa was hot. Good facilities for kids. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable. We didn't have the views advertised on wotif and there was a 2 burner cook top but no pots or pans. Great view of beach. Great location to walk to surf club and cafes/shops. Room was clean. Time for refurbishment- elements in apartment showing age and wear and tear. Good facilities - 2 pools and spas, sauna, tennis court.

Lovely room, plenty of room for 2 adults & 2 children. All the amenities the room had, bonus having a washing machine & dryer. Washing machine was great, with having kids. So very quiet, didnt hear traffic or other guests. Pool area was sensational & games room.

The room was clean and tidy ant the location was great; close to restaurants, boutique shopping and the beach. Amenities were good, we used the pool and spa heaps. We loved staying at the Catalina apartments. Room was spacious, clean and modern. We had an ocean view room so the view was ever-changing. We loved how the master suite was separate to the kids room, and the luxury of 2 bathrooms. Although the building seemed to be full, we never heard any noise through the walls. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great (although needed a bit of fiddling to get it to stay on the wall). Well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to the beach which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. Communication was great, check in was simple. Good to have a dedicated parking spot. Loved the security system with the key card. Facilities were brilliant. If I was being critical, there was a bit of dust in the room where it needed a more thorough clean. But overall fantastic place to stay with kids as well. Will definitely book here again if I was staying in the area.

The room was clean and tidy ant the location was great; close to restaurants, boutique shopping and the beach. Amenities were good, we used the pool and spa heaps. The only downside was the basic amounts of soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid etc for a short stay. We stayed 6 nights so the visited the local foodmart (3 minute walk) frequently. That said, it's still value for money

Great location with beach, shops and surf club very close. Resort facilities very good with 2 pools and spas plus BBQ facilities. Would definitely stay again.

I chose Catalina Apartments because of their location - about 100 m from Maroochydore beach and Surf Living Saving Club. Checking in was quick and efficient and the apartment was clean, well-furnished and well-equipped ... but it also features several splashes of bright colour with artificial flowers and "coastal" art works. Key tag access to garage and to rooms helps secure a safe environment. Cotton Tree Plaza is five minutes' walk away - great Delhi, bakery, liquor shop, Fish 'n' Chips shops, Newsgency etc. The resort's public gardens are pretty and there is a pleasant outdoor pool with good BBQ facilities. There is a sauna, a free tennis court and a small games room. I had read some pretty worrying reports before arriving, but I cannot really fault my room - Unit 28 in Tower I - other than the dim lighting and plastic flowers. I would return.

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. Very close to the surf club and public transport to Mooloolabar, great location, we will definitely stay again when we visit again.

Catalina ticked many boxes - pool, spa, tennis court, communal area, walkable to beach, flat walks in the area, close to a variety of eating places. Easy and secure parking and access to the complex.

We stayed 2night in the winter holidays. Very lovely beach view from 6th floor. Our family enjoyed the games room, hot tub and sauna on the days it was too cold for the beach. Great location to walk to cafes and restaurants.
