Great location and the property presented well, was clean, the staff were helpful during check in. The only downside was that the hot water was not at all hot and the shower leaked a lot of water onto the bathroom floor. We also paid $30 for car parking and were not able to enter or exit the car park with the number plate recognition, it didn't work for our car.

Great place for a short stay with 2 small kids. We spent 2 nights and walker around Cronulla the whole time. Pool and spa were fantastic. Few small issues with the room, fridge wasn't working well, outside balcony could have been cleaner, pull out bed wouldn't be any good for anyone other than small children.TV outdated no options to stream or hire movies, which we needed given our young kids. No room service and no onsite restaurant for lunch dinner or drinks. Parking needs to be pre booked and is $30 per night we may have missed this being mentioned However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely still be back.

Beach view was beautiful Great location but noisy traffic Hotel bar wasn’t open daily No room service We couldn’t adjust the air conditioning it was set too high. We had children with us and we had to wait till 3 pm to check in, with no allowance after asking multiple times, the girls got wet at the beach and needed to change.

Enjoyable stay. While the car park is convenient it was regularly over booked resulting in having to contact reception to unlock reserved parks, which was a little inconvenient when wanting to just duck in and out etc

Our stay was great. We had interconnecting rooms with a great view of the beach. I parked the car on arrival and didnt move it until we left 5 days later, the location is fantastic, plenty of dining options in walking distance & being across the road from the beach was terrific. Our only complaint was that the spa wasnt warm alot of the time & we had to ask for towels by the pool on numerous occasions, otherwise it was a great place to stay and we will be back. Thank you for a great beachside holiday.

Nice room although overpriced. Car parking was a disaster, constantly waiting to be left in, and had to hand over keys. When leaving constantly had to wait to be let out.

The room was very small, and not clean. All windows and doors were filthy- couldn’t see out of them clearly at all. The bathroom was mouldy- mould on the window, and in the shower area, most grout was covered in mould. The breakfast was nice, as was the pool. The hotel is in a great location.

Great location and fantastic view but I was disappointed by a few things. My fridge didn’t work so couldn’t keep anything cold. They only provided one pretty iffy spoon and a dirty kettle… no morning coffee for me. And the hallways were always filled with dirty laundry so weren’t as clean as it could be with a little more effort. A few small upgrades and better cleaning would go a long way. Breakfast was very over priced at $35 for adults with VERY little buffet options compared to most hotels. It said kids eat free but they first charge you and say they will refund at the end…. Why do it like this? I didn’t try it because of the limited food options and two very picky children, not worth the extra $40 risk that my children may eat nothing and maybe it would be refunded at the end.

Staff refused to serve us drinks at the bar even though we asked to take them to our room because the bar had just closed (around 8pm).

The carpet was not cleaned - the balcony was not cleaned upon arrival. There were spider webs, dust and dirt on both balconies. When staff were asked for water or toilet paper, they never never delivered the goods. Staff entering room, unannounced. Drink vouchers were given for the bar which said valid every day however, it was closed on Monday. Breakfast timing was ridiculous. We showed up for breakfast at 9:30am, after charging us for breakfast and paying For our party of 5, they then announced that the kitchen was closed, and we could only eat what was available at the time. Communication from the room to staff was horrible. Could not call or contact reception or housekeeping using the into internal phone system. No one would ever answer. We booked a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen however, there were no cutlery or plates or enough crockery in the kitchen to accommodate us during a stay. There was no dishwashing liquid to wash the cups or tea towels to dry them.

My phone did not work. Someone came to check it twice and could not fix it. Said he would need to get the 'expert' to come and have a look, but no-one came. It was inconvenient, if I had any queries, I had to visit reception. After I told reception, they kindly offered me a complimentary breakfast. Also, the cupboard door handle housing the mini-fridge came off as the screws were loose. The bed and the pillows were very comfotable and I slept well.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff were the key highlight with nothing being too much trouble. This includes the building manager who helped us with our bags. Our room was comfortable and the property was exceptionally well located. Would absolutely come back here again.

Great location! Had a room with an ocean view that was stunning. Once the traffic and partying slowed the sound of waves were all that was heard! Great location and definitely worth it to stay here. Beaches, beach walks, restaurants and bars, and some casual stores!

Lovely view of Cronulla Beach. A bit noisy through out the day with traffic but it was quite enough at night. The main road does go right around the Hotel. Very nice and clean room with the option to skip room service and get $10 off a drink at the bar.

Lovely view of Cronulla Beach. A bit noisy through out the day with traffic but it was quite enough at night. The main road does go right around the Hotel. Very nice and clean room with the option to skip room service and get $10 off a drink at the bar.

Excellent location and views. We had breakfast included, however when we arrived about 8.45, there were minimal selections with a lot of the options finished and hadn’t been topped up. Everything else was ok and the staff were friendly and the room was neat and clean with a great view.

Do not trust the WOTIF information about this hotel. I booked because WOTIF and the hotel site promised room service, restaurant and bar. There is no room service and nowhere to eat in the rooms, only a small coffee table very low to the ground. They do breakfast but not evening meals or lunch and the bar is only open a few hours on weekends. Ruined our trip as the nearby streets aren’t safe after dark.

The view was magnificent, the room was clean and spacious. Bed were comfy but a bit soft for my liking. Breakfast was mediocre, reception staff very obliging. Breakfast staff needs to pick up their spark.

Great location and large room. The staff were lovely. So lovely that they comp’ed me breakfast when I told them I had paid $77pp on this App. It was a poor full breakfast buffet. Nice locals used the coved sunny space to catch up and just buy the coffee. At checkout I thanked the staff for the breakfast being complimentary but of course they said it had not been as I had added it to my rate in the App. I think the locals got my discount. Smart. Have the coffee only.

Lovely stay, great view. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. A very quick and easy check in and check out. Only negative feedback is the room had a strange smell to it. Didnt effect our stay though. Also there was no parking available, had to park streets away and walk 10 mins with 3 kids.

Spectacular location. Watching the planes arrive at sunrise was beautiful. One of my little personal treats is the hotel breakfast…especially the large and well supplied fruit section. However, sadly not here. Just a small bowl with uninteresting stuff, large bunch of grapes you couldn’t get to without handling the whole bunch, and pineapple totally unripe. Ah well…the coffee was good.

Disappointed that the bar was closed on a Thursday and the condition of the bathroom is tired. Great location to beaches and restaurants. The mini bar in the room was not cold enough for meditation and there was no way to decrease the temperature

Didn’t have much staff experience but the interactions we did have were helpful. We decided we wanted to have buffet breakfast one morning and were delighted to discover that we could do so without booking ahead. Beach view was lovely and ideal if that’s what you are after! Disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and overall housekeeping. We arrived to find that the attention to detail wasn’t there for a 4 star hotel (especially considering how much we paid) and things were missed when it came to cleaning. We weren’t too fussed about it as we decided to get our room cleaned the next day. Upon our return, we discovered that our bed had been made with the same sheets that we already had and no additional cleaning amendments had been made. Rydges do give you the option to opt out of getting your room cleaned in order to save some money for food vouchers, etc. I would definitely recommend doing so.

We found the parking to be a nightmare. Regardless of booking and paying $60 for two nights parking we arrived @ 2pm and the parking was already full. We spoke to a gentleman who turned out to work there & he unlocked a chain for us to have access to a blocked off chained area. The chain was re-locked after we parked, so if we needed to use our car we had to inform the reception who then went down & let us out. We were told we had been given an upgrade to a king size room which was a nice gesture, but the room faced the north and was on the main road side. It was very noisy right up until around 10pm , so make sure you ask for a room higher up than level two & facing the east with the beach in front. The room was clean but badly in need of a deep clean, eg curtains need washing & the walls and doors were grubby and could do with a fresh coat of paint. The carpet is stained also. A bit disappointing for over $640 inc $60 for parking .

Amazing view of the ocean. The bathrooms had a bit of an odd layout. No hook or rack for a hand towel for example. The room was clean and well presented. They do not do early check in unless you pay.
