SH Valencia Palace

This is advertised as a Spa hotel. However the Spa is price to an absurd level. To use the Spa for 1hour at 120 Euros. Never seen these kind of pricing before. Sit in in a bath for an hour for price is out of the question. This is so out of ordinary pricing that it should be mentioned in the hotel description

Wir fanden die Strasse laut, es war auch nachts nicht ruhig. Was uns mehr geärgert hat, war der SPA Bereich. Von Montag bis Donnerstag 20 Euro , allerdings pro Stunde . Es war mit Sauna, und Whirlpool.

Modern hotel well situated for frequent buses. Excellent restaurant. Very nice rooftop bar, but irritatingly it closed in the afternoon; would have bern nice to use in the evening. Good rooftop pool, but strangely needed to book the sauna. In spite of those negatives, would recommend.

Great hotel in a good location equidistant between the beach and the old city. Comfortable, modern and with friendly staff, good breakfast and high hygiene and cleaning standards. My only disappointment was in the fitness facilities. There were no towels available in the gym, there were no cleaning tissues to wipe down equipment, rarely no cups for the water, no air conditioning (which made working out in the afternoon unbearable in the heat - it must be the only room in the hotel without air conditioning and of course the one that needs it most!) and the equipment could do with a refresh.

Really lovely hotel, which is in a great location for visiting the city centre, the Science Park and the marina/beach. Lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms and the added bonus of a rooftop pool, which was much needed after a hot day sightseeing

The pool is small

We liked the property as it was central to the places we wanted to visit. I wanted an outdoor & indoor pool. However was told on arrival indoor pool was at an extra charge -this is not in the description of the hotel! and the outdoor pool was freezing. So hence i never used the pools

For a 5 star hotel it was not so good. Nice lobby, nice access to bedrooms but... bed not awesome, and and thin bedsheets, there was 2 blood small stains on the floor that stayed there for the 2 days I've stayed. It was nice to have an 1 hour late checkout for free.

Great hotel. Cleaners were excellent and staff very helpful.

Clean room

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel et malheureusement l’expérience n’a pas été à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles. La piscine et le sol de l’ascenseur étaient sales, ce qui donne une mauvaise première impression. Dans la chambre, un des chaussons mis à disposition avait déjà été utilisé, ce qui est vraiment inacceptable pour ce type d’établissement. La climatisation était extrêmement bruyante, comparable au bruit d’un avion 😂, rendant le repos difficile. De plus, la salle de bains est mal conçue : lorsque l’on prend une douche, l’eau s’écoule de l’autre côté de la pièce, ce qui est très désagréable. En revanche, il faut souligner que le personnel est vraiment très agréable et serviable. Globalement, l’hôtel ne mérite pas du tout ses 5 etoiles

For sure the Valencia Palace hotel applies to all the standards and regulations that belong to a 5* hotel. The differences are in the details and the experience Those are the things that make a difference between a poor, moderate, good or excellent stay and hotel experience and rating. It is advisable to take a room with a view of the park, as there are many rooms that only look out onto buildings (depressing views) in an interior courtyard. Our room showed some wear and tear. Dust bunnies behind the curtains, a layer of dust on the window frame, a few holes in the curtain, dusty windows and corners of the tables and bedside tables show damage. All somehow acceptable (we just wiped the dust off ourselves) but not what you expect of a 5* hotel. The bathroom is equipped with all the amenities as you would expect from a 5* hotel. However, here again many signs of wear and tear. (broken tile on the floor). It is recommended to plan and carry out maintenance properly. The rooftop pool is small and has some sunbeds and chairs to sit/lie on. Towels are provided. It should be noted that the water of the pool was very cloudy. I think because there is not enough filtering. The breakfast restaurant was located in the basement of the hotel. As far away as possible and as unattractively decorated as possible. Enough food and choices, however I’ve seen better quality, and more attention paid to the display of the food. This hotel can certainly improve, and they should strive for that.

Rooms were spotless. Excellent quality buffet breakfast. Ideally located for buses, Turia Garden and a short work from the metro. Good facilities with gym and pool included.

Wonderful access to parkway. Rooms spacious and elegant. Room service reasonably priced and high quality. Aside from the bathroom floor being a bit unkempt, terrific stay.

Very clean rooms, staff very helpful

Room is very large, beds are comfortable. Breakfast has good selections. Location is great…close to the park…right in the middle between modern opera house and old town. The big complaint is about WiFi…very slow. It requires too much personal information such as birthday to login. No other hotels require this.

The breakfast was great in the week and crowdedon the weekend. The pool was nice but cold in October. The hotel is good quality, friendly hekpful staff and great with children! Not five-star luxury service but a great place to stay!

we have no air condition in my room, 4 times we ask the front desk to fix this problem, they did not do anything, i hardly sleep because was so hot. for sure they need to reimbursed some of nights that honestly i did suffer. this is the first time i ask for compensation. rooms were clean and nice, but no air condition and temperature was from 30 to 38.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room but electrical plugs was outdate, such as no USB plugs.

Beautiful modern hotel with large comfortable rooms. One slight negative was that I was unable to adjust the curtains to prevent some sunlight entering the room in the morning. Great rooftop pool and nice dining facility on the roof. The breakfast buffet was the best I had during my travels through Spain and included omelets made to order. The location is good but it is about a half hour walk to the Carmen area. There is a bus that is half hour ride to the beach that can be found just around the corner from the hotel. The staff was cordial and quite helpful.

Trop cher Chambre vieille et besoin de rénovation salle de bains Odeur d égout catastrophique qui envahit la chambre Climatisation peu fonctionnelle qui fait un bruit qui empêche de dormir Travaux multiples dans l hôtel Chambres bruyantes aucune insonorisation avec les voisins Femme de ménage qui font du bruit en laissant les portes de chambres ouvertes et en tapant sur les murs avec l'aspirateur très bruyant aussi des 7h du matin Très loin de la plage et loin du centre ville Difficile d avoir un docteur en passant la réception... Demande de discount faite mais aucune réponse de l hôtel

Hotel is convinently located, within walking distance to Oceanogràfic and metro station. Bus stop is just outside and bus can take you to the city centre. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The only small thing is that the air conditioning was a bit too loud for me, but overall I would definitely stay there again.

Very good hotel except for Wi-Fi connection

Je suis un peu mitigé par ce séjour. En tant que membre Gold j’ai demandé un départ tardif pour ma compagne, ce que l’hôtel m’a accordé… contre paiement! Service peu agréable dans l’ensemble. Literie excellente.

Alles war einwandfrei. Besonders aufgefallen ist mir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals.

Bego (Begonia) at the front desk was wonderful. At the bar on the weekend, Jacabo, and his very pretty and kind blonde woman colleague were both exceptional!

Wonderful property with excellent staff. Very welcoming and helpful for my first trip to Valencia. I will certainly be back to this hotel on my next trip to Valencia.

Staff was hit or miss. Our cleaning lady would knock over and over, even if we put the do not disturb sign out (she actually took it off one time and told me not to hang it up once when I opened the door), and if we didn't let her in she would stand outside the door until we left, multiple days in a row. The front desk was helpful, but room service sent us a busboy and didn't give him the wine bottle opener we requested, and he was sweet enough to let us use his personal wine bottle opener and then we found out we were charged to borrow a PERSONAL corkscrew for 30 SECONDS. He deserves an apology from someone.

Great hotel conveniently located near the Park and walkable to both the old town and the Arts complex area. Spacious, lovely outdoor pool, staff super friendly. Definitely recommend.

Decent location. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were not very friendly, welcoming, or helpful. On multiple occasions I asked for something to be brought to my room (example: clean mugs for the coffee maker), and was told by the front desk to go get them myself. I ordered room service twice: once for dinner and once for breakfast. The dinner was fine, not much to write home about. The breakfast was a terrible experience. They got the order wrong, so I told them what the order was supposed to be. They came back in an hour with almost the same order as the first time (still VERY incorrect). Out of time, we told them we did not want it, and to refund us. Because of this, we were scolded as if we did something wrong. This hotel is not much cheaper than the ones in the city center, so I suggest spending the money on a hotel in the city center … hopefully one that has a more accommodating and friendly staff

Nos fue muy bien en el hotel, pero a último momento tuvieron un detalle de mal gusto para un hotel de cinco estrellas necesitábamos un late check out de solo una hora y nos querían cobrar 20 euros! Desluce mucho a un hotel de este nivel un cobro así que sobra decir no pagamos y salimos del hotel con la incomodidad que ellos nos representó!

We enjoyed staying in the hotel. Excellent location to use Turia Gardens for running and walking to the museums and Old Town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and all speak very good English. They were also very attentive to our needs for taxi and local sight seeing advice. All in all, the hotel is well maintained and has good ambience. Buffet breakfast was excellent, too.

Excelent service, clean and close to all attractions

Couldn’t find fault with this wonderful hotel. The hotel is in an ideal location, half way between the sea and the old town. Everywhere is walkable, and close to bus and Metro lines. The hotel was immaculate and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and large shower rooms. Breakfast was buffet style with a large choice of high quality food. Parking was close to the hotel. Highly recommended!

Excellent location in close proximity to the old town, oceanic museum and public transport. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Did not use room service or tried their breakfast buffet.

Mooi hotel maar op sommige punten wel verouderd. Ontbijtzaal was in de kelder en heel lawaaierig. Shampoo was op in onze kamer, was niet aangevuld na het schoonmaken van de kamer. Gaan vragen aan de receptie en nadien ook niets ontvangen. Ruime kamer, heel groot bed. Wij hadden ondanks de omstandigheden een fijn verblijf.

I have previously stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Rooms clean, modern and well kitted out. Staff always go the distance. Breakfast fabulous and location ideal to travel about.

Great location for exploring Valencia on foot. Great bar and restaurant 2 mins behind hotel and 7 mins walk from strip of restaurants and bars. Breakfast in hotel was excellent, didn't eat or drink in hotel otherwise. Well had one drunk in bar- very expensive. Rooms very comfortable and well stocked. AC worked well and easily adjustable. We had a problem with the safe which was sorted quickly. Downside- They changed our towels daily which wasn't eco friendly.

Très déçue par la piscine non chauffée, minuscule et très peu de transat vu la capacité de l'hôtel alors que c'est un 5 étoiles. Nous avions choisi exprès cet hôtel pour en profiter mais non impossible. Nous avons été contraints de faire la queue pour le petit déjeuner car la salle est trop petite. C'est un comble pour un 5 étoiles. Heureusement le petit déjeuner est très bon. Petit conseil pour l'hôtel : vérifier l'état de vos chambres notamment du sol mal collé et laissant des petits espaces vides. Fenêtres mal insonorisées. L'emplacement est intéressant cependant.
