Days Inn by Wyndham Victoria Uptown

Stay was great and the restaurant for breakfast was great as well. Just confused about the housekeeping situation. We did not request any for the length of our stay as instructed by the front desk person. Then the day before we checked out our room was cleaned. Not a big deal, just confusing.

Comfy room

I didn't realize there was a bar attached to this hotel. When i arrived at 8 to check in the music was so loud you couldnt hear the front staff. I was told the music shuts down at 10 which it did, but i probably wouldnt have stayed there had I known about the attached bar above.

Shocked when the bar with live music started up in the evening as there was no mention of this during check-in. Rooms at the far end of this motel are probably fine, but if you end up in room 379 be prepared to be kept awake until the final bar stragglers leave. Right outside our door was the patio where patrons took their smoke breaks, and regularly propped the bar door open so the live music and voices sounded like they were inside our room. Probably didn't help that our room's door wasn't fully sealed (light showed through along the side and bottom). The room itself was a good size and clean, and the beds were comfy. The staff we met were very nice. But I wouldn't stay here again even if the room was free.
