ROOM AT THE BACK SO NO VIEW, BUT IT MADE UP FOR CONFORT AND A GREAT WALK IN SHOWER ROOM. I did request a accessible room prior to my visit vi hotels.com but the request hadn’t got though, the staff were able to allocate a semi assessable room which serve my person. Food had the steak ale pie, best I've every had.

Some of our rooms did smell musty / doggy . This was sorted immediately by lovely staff . We didn’t realise it was a dog friendly hotel . Not a problem at all but probably best to keep certain rooms just for the doggies and others for others guests . The staff were soo friendly and lovely and nothing was too much trouble

Location is very good I have stayed 4 times at this hotel and this was the worst stay. no hot water very cold for the shower and the pressure of the shower was really poor. informed the staff who said they will take a look at it to which no change so on last day had to have a cold shower and and cold shave not good.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there is a door connecting the room with the next room and we could hear their tv and hear them talking, I know this is probably because we choose twins beds room and it connects to the other room probably for families who have children so the door can be kept open etc, but other than that the stay and room was great 😀

Stopped over one nightroom was very clean with white bed linen and white towels in bathroom which again had all the requirements. Tee and coffee equipment was provided but only enough for one cup each. Breakfast cereal was limited in choice as was bread. Full English breakfast was nice as was the omelette. Breakfast waitress was overworked as she had to do reception until 0830 and room was quite full. Overall a pleasant stay

Disappointed with the room. It was small and the bathroom was difficult to manoeuvre for more than one person at a time. The room was dusty and could tell certain parts had not be cleaned in quite some time. Would not stay here again.

Hotel is a great price and is a little tired but comfortable and you have what you need for a stop over. Unfortunately chef took ill so couldn’t eat there but menu looked good. Instead they recommended the Dam Inn which was amazing food!

Staff very pleasant and helpful, Food very good. Room clean. Overall a very pleasant stay. Only comment would be no heating in room and unable to adjust electric radiator, very cold.
