Central location and very close to the train station. Booked two rooms though and one didn’t have a mini fridge and a safe missing the front panel. Apparently the safes in the rooms are currently out of order throughout. Did not state this when booking, it offers a working safe.

I recently stayed at the Novotel Hotel and found it to be conveniently located just a short walking distance from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our overall stay pleasant. The lobby features a welcoming bar and a restaurant with a great selection of food options. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, kettle, blow dryer, iron, and fridge. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, which made for a good night’s sleep. While the stay was comfortable overall, I do feel the property could benefit from some updates particularly in the carpets, drapes, and a fresh coat of paint to give it a more modern feel.

Staff very helpful and welcoming, I picked this hotel because it was near to the wedding location we were attending and it had an EV charging point however there was very little parking and the EV charger was tucked away in a corner of the car park and was difficult to park next to due to tight space in the car park.

Our room was great and the hotel had everything we needed for our 2 night stay in Wolverhampton. It was clean, spacious, the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom were nice and the buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Parking was easy and cost £5 per day.

The hotel is ok with a good breakfast selection. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I had no interaction with staff other than the pay on arrival check in. However, I would not stay at this hotel again due to the car park being operated by Parkingeye. You need to enter your car registration on arrival and pay the fee but predictably, I still received a £100 fine and now have to fight this third party parking firm. The hotel are quite clear that the car park arrangement (although on the hotel premises) is nothing to do with them and they cannot/will not get in involved. I’ve stayed in 100’s of hotels over the years and never seen such an arrangement for parking. For me, it’s not worth the parking hassle to stay here again as there other hotels in the area.

No dinner being served -"maintenance". There are dining places within 5-10 walk, but either over the busy ring road or through the subway - not great. Parking was £5, but armt least it was easy and felt in a secure enough area. Hotels windows that open - yay!

Such lovely staff. Sadly our room needed a good gutting, the water didnt drain, dirty around the plug. Black mould and worst of all someone had made tea in the kettle and it was thick mould. Therefore hadnt been checked in weeks. I did mention to reception when I left and they gave us a free breakfast which was lovely. It was a stay for my Husbands birthday so less than ideal . That said the bed was super comfy and we would return

Bedroom had dirty carpets, dirty curtains with holes in and dirty walls. We had a 7 year old with us so the sofa bed had been made up. My granddaughter had to be moved from the sofa bed to my bed as she was so allergic to the dust. As soon as she changed beds she was fine. My daughter had to sleep on the sofa bed and was also very allergic to the dust, she had an awful nights sleep. The bedding was clean but the room was tired.

Unlike my last visit at the beginning of Nov on first floor, this third floor room was not good enough for the money. Mattress sagging and really needs replacing. I placed a towel under the sheet as the mattress protector was very stained. Bed frame broken. A lot of noise from the room adjoining (315). Did I get the worst/last room because of late check in even though I booked well in advance? Staff on reception and serving at breakfast were lovely as usual and breakfast was good. Bar food last night was not as good as on previous occasions and menu items had sold out (salad niçoise). Chicken César salad was truly awful. Extremely limited alcohol free options too. Becks blue was only lager/ale option. You have Hobson’s brewery in Cleobury Mortimer down the road - you could use them. Missed opportunity in today’s increasingly sober curious age. But as I said, reception staff, waiting staff and brekky all lovely as before.

Great central location. Handy to all forms of transportation. Easy walk to the shops ,pubs and restaurant. Very quiet location though. Perfect. Friendly staff and very good breakfasts. The rooms are dated and the bathrooms especially need to b redone. Showering is awkward and tiles and grouting are crying for replacement as well

Comfortable, clean bed but room very noisy from all night traffic on the main road. No air con so windows needed to be open. Someone entered my room during the night with a key supposedly looking for a duvet, very scary when your door just opens a a light goes on. Not acceptable.

Room was clean and spacious, albeit a little dated. Bring plugs as there are no usb points. Do like the fact it has a separate toilet. Breakfast and bar service excellent, quick and attentive.

The staff were very accommodating and the hotel was reasonably clean. Parking was ample and my room was a really decent size. The hotel could do with renovating though: the carpet in my room was stained, the remote control for the tv didn’t work (the light was flashing so don’t think it was a battery issue), the people in the adjoining room could be heard very clearly as the walls were thin, the shower took a long time to drain, and the toilet is in a separate room from the sink. Overall, my stay was fine for one night but not somewhere I would stay again.

Daniel and his arrogant colleague were rude, dismissive and clearly didn’t want any guests to be there! Came back to hotel bar around 9.15. We were served by a lovely lady who even made our daughter a mocktail. Then Daniel came on… a guy was stood at the bar waiting to be served. He literally didn’t speak to him, just came round and turned the bar lights off! Another man went to reception to ask to be served, they reluctantly did this, then turned lights off again! We asked 20-30 mins later, he said there is a fault on the tills I can’t serve you! We suggested he put them through reception tills as these were clearly working, someone had just paid for parking. He refused, we said can you write them down, we’ll sign, put them through on rooms, you have our card details. He refused, he told two ladies there was a Tesco down the road if they really needed a drink and to walk there and bring it back to the room!! My husband asked for his name (no badge) he initially refused this saying he didn’t need to give it, but husband politely insisted and he said Daniel. His colleague disappeared when names were mentioned. Extremely disappointing early end to our evening.

The early check in/out was great at no extra cost. The checkin lady asked me if I had paid because and said that she couldnt see my details online. She came across as very aloof. When coming back from a night out at around midnight - I was approached by an undesirable man whilst waiting for the lift. I ignored him when he was talking to me-he had previously been standing by the recepton desk when I entered the building. I did not feel safe in the hotel at that moment when I was approached by this stranger. When I went down for breakfast the next morning after waiting on my own for 5 minutes before being acknowledged to be seated. I gave the waitress my room number and then she asked me if I had paid? After eating some fruit I then went to get a full English breakfasrt. There were no hash-browns or mushrooms and I asked if some was coing out in which I was told 10 minutes. I got up a few times whilst eating my breakfast to check if anymore had been bought out to the eating area and was able to get a hash brown. I had to wait until I was on my second plate of food to get some mushrooms. There are

After eating some fruit I then went to get a full English breakfasrt. There were no hash-browns or mushrooms and I asked if some was coing out in which I was told 10 minutes. I got up a few times whilst eating my breakfast to check if anymore had been bought out to the eating area and was able to get a hash brown. Our stay was amazing at the Novotel Hotel. We had a warm welcome from Shanoi at reception. The room was clean and the environment was very pleasant. The breakfast was well laid out and evening meal was great with generous helpings and reasonably priced. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit this hotel again.

1. I'd added an extra night and while the hotel confirmed that it would be linked when I got there it wasnt. Subsequently access to my room was locked after 24 hours. 2. Shower tub height was 2 inches above my knee. I'm 5ft4in making it hard to climb into shower and impossible to climb out. Was moved to an accessible room. 3. Breakfast. Please wait to be seated said the sign. Gave my room number and left standing. Asked if i could sit anywhere. Told self service. Over one hour of service left but most pastries were gone and not more coming out. No glasses left, reluctantly got some more. No small plates or bowls remaing, asked two people. Ended up using tea cup as a cereal bowl. Two bowls later put out and quickly taken by others. 4. Room i was moved to had water pipes which kicked in with noise from 4am when others started getting up. Lost over two hours sleep as it kept stop starting 5. Put in my room no cleaning signs on door. Housekeeping came in at 12 to clean room while i was trying to catch up on sleep. She had room only booked for one night 6. We travel to Wolverhampton every month to see our elderly mother and having tried other hotels in the past, we would always stay at this Novotel for many reasons. As you enter the hotel there is a lovely welcoming atmosphere and very friendly receptionists. To the left the bar and lounge area is very attractive and after a long day’s gardening is lovely to come back to. There is a good choice of food and drinks and also a pretty outside seating area. The buffet breakfast at the Novotel is one of the best we have experienced. Whilst my husband really enjoyed the cooked items on offer, I enjoyed the varied and very fresh fruits and yogurts on offer. The rooms tick all the boxes being very large for a standard double and very clean. Lovely sheets and towels and a very comfy nights sleep. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough as it ticks all the boxes and we really look forward to our stays there.

The Hotel was clean, room had air conditioning and was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The only area the Hotel lets itself down is in the Reception. At all times there was only 1 person on reception which caused delays checking in and out.

Staff were helpful, but overworked . Poor staffing on the bar,but helpful barman. He seemed to be the only person in the hotel around 11.30pm. Certainly needed someone else to help him. Bed was a little on the hard side. They are my only complaints, good stay overall.

Comfortable, clean bed but room very noisy from all night traffic on the main road. No air con so windows needed to be open. Someone entered my room during the night with a key supposedly looking for a duvet, very scary when your door just opens a a light goes on. Not acceptable.

First time for us to stay in this hotel. Just the one night to attend a gig. Convenient location for the Train station and city centre. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Didn't use the bar or restaurant - but they looked really good. Would definitely stay here again.

No dinner being served -"maintenance". There are dining places within 5-10 walk, but either over the busy ring road or through the subway - not great. Parking was £5, but armt least it was easy and felt in a secure enough area. Hotels windows that open - yay!

Unlike my last visit at the beginning of Nov on first floor, this third floor room was not good enough for the money. Mattress sagging and really needs replacing. I placed a towel under the sheet as the mattress protector was very stained. Bed frame broken. A lot of noise from the room adjoining (315). Did I get the worst/last room because of late check in even though I booked well in advance? Staff on reception and serving at breakfast were lovely as usual and breakfast was good. Bar food last night was not as good as on previous occasions and menu items had sold out (salad niçoise). Chicken César salad was truly awful. Extremely limited alcohol free options too. Becks blue was only lager/ale option. You have Hobson’s brewery in Cleobury Mortimer down the road - you could use them. Missed opportunity in today’s increasingly sober curious age. But as I said, reception staff, waiting staff and brekky all lovely as before.

There was a slip in each room offering us a free drink at the bar in recompense, but this was probably the hottest day of the year and I would estimate that our rooms were 30C which is not possible to sleep in. There was a fan in each but this provided no real relief. After a bit of bargaining at reception we were offered a free breakfast as well, which we accepted as there seemed no option. The reception staff were actually very nice and clearly embarrassed by the poor state of the hotel, but really it's not acceptable to charge for rooms that are unusable, and in which sleep is barely possible.
