Excellent hotel. Clean, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Not a long of amnesties. Gym open 9am-9pm which is not very convenient. Only two coffees in the room and not a selections for much else. It is an issue for travellers with jet lag.

Ich bin bei Reisen nach Zürich immer im Marriott. Der Service ist gut das Frühstück ebenfalls. Was mir bei diesem Aufenthalt besonders aufgefallen ist, dass der Straßenlärm doch sehr im Zimmer ankommt. Ich denke hier liegt es an der Verglasung der Fenster. Der Bau ist auch schon etwas veraltet. Die Betten und Kissen finde ich persönlich sehr bequem. Der Service ist gut und der Fitnessraum hat 24 Stunden geöffnet. Parken im öffentlichen Parkhaus für 39 CHF pro Tag direkt neben dem Hotel.

Loved this hotel. Being able to go in the M club room was awesome. The staff were Great the restaurants were Great. The location was great. We walked everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property is expensive, but in many ways worth it. Always a taxi available. Taxi to airport approx $60 (US currency) each way or you can make your way to the train station (10 min walk). The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Marco greeted us and gave us an excellent introduction to the hotel and facilities. Valentina, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were both amazing people and made us feel very welcome. Everyone spoke English, among other languages, and was polite. The bar prices were reasonable. The staff there were very friendly. Bad things: The food is very poor in quantity and quality, especially for the prices charged. I am not saying this as an "American who expects large portions". We paid $14 each for 2 soups (one mushroom, one wonton). Both were about 3/4 cup. The mushroom was completely creamed, like Campbells worthy and the wonton was poor watery chicken broth with odd meat filled breadsticks that apparently were the wontons (this is not a dumpling). We also got a chicken Ceasar salad for $28 which is essentially 1 grilled chicken breast and 4 small leaves of lettuce under it. For desert we said well let\'s get the NY Cheesecake. I don\'t know what that was, but cheesecake it was not. More like custard pie. We couldn\'t finish it. Even though everything in Zurich is very expensive, it would be nice to know the hotel was a good option, but it is definitely not. Our total bill for the meal was about $80 US.

Hotel is extremely clean our room had a beautiful view of the river. There is limited dining at the hotel and it’s someone expensive. The lobby bar is great place to have a drink or light sandwiches very helpful walking distance to get to the old town at least 15 to 20 minutes.

We stayed in a suite with club lounge access. The lounge was great and the customer service was good as well. However our room smelled like an ashtray. They masked the smell with spray when we checked in so we did not smell it until an hour later. We contacted the front desk and notified them at which point they sent someone to come spray more which does not solve the problem just masks it for an hour. They then brought a room ventilator which they must use in the restaurant because it immediately made the room smell like food. My family and I suffered from congestion and allergies the entire stay and it was extremely unpleasant considering none of us smoke. Very disappointed that they assigned this room to begin with and even more disappointed that they didn’t care to do anything about it. When I asked if it was a nonsmoking room they said “yes of course and we charge very expensive fee but people still smoke” Would not stay here nor recommend to non smokers.

We stayed in one of the brand new rooms and it was amazing! Spacious with beautiful finishes. The staff were all super nice and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance to shopping, dining and more.

Considering the rather high price for my single room, I think the standard was not what I expected. The room was small and there was no place to put your suitcase. Also one of the lights was broken, which made it hard to read. Even though there were a few other lights, the overall impression was that the room was too dark. In general, I think the rooms need an upgrade to live up to today’s standard for luxuary hotels.

Sure not a 5 star hotel. 3.5 max. Rooms are falling apart. The bathroom door wasn’t closing and we waited for about hour before deciding leaving without anyone showing up and fixing it. For the money we paid I guess it’s okay but only for a shorter stays, not 5 nights or longer like we did. Also if you want a more upscale vibe you definitely need to stay at the Bahnhofstrasse area. If we would’ve paid just 15 hundred more it would’ve been an absolutely different experience!

Great renovated rooms but noisy. Our next room neighbors woke us up early in the morning just by having conversation and then cleaning crew was loud doing their job. I would say it’s a great hotel but wouldn’t rate them 5 stars.

We had a great stay. Hotel was clean and modern. We stayed during some warm weather and the A/C made it very comfortable. Short walk from Old Town and the train station and right by the river. Continental breakfast was delicious. Had to get used to the handheld shower since it would not stay facing forward on the holder but otherwise everything was great. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a great location and very walkable to Old Town and across from the Limmat River. We stayed in the renovated part of the hotel and it was lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom floors were heated! The staff was very attentive and the amenities top notch, from the bar to the restaurants

Great location, comfortable and spacious hotel rooms, great guest service, they help gave us plenty of recommendations and even sold us the public transportation tickets which made it easier for us to move around, they had our room available before the check in time which was a huge plus for us. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. In overall we would totally recommend staying here 😄

2 nights quick get away trip with my wife. Overall junior suite room was okey. However very old. This is a very old building and needs of remodeling. In fact I was offered a newer suite without any city view. In other words I guess they know this and are working forward to remodeling.

This is an excellent property with a perfect location, our room overlooked the river where ducks and swans were swimming. The staff are friendly and efficient. What was especially wonderful was that my birthdate was noted on my passport, and a delicious birthday treat was delivered to my room with a lovely note wishing me a Happy 75th. WOW!!! That has happened once before with another Marriott owned property, the Grand Sheraton in Salzburg, Austria. Marriott properties teach their staff to pay attention to details. Very impressive!!! We ate many meals at the hotel, and the four of us were happy with the selections and quality, as well as, the friendliness of the staff. Thank you Marriott for contributing to making my birthday perfect!

The staff at this hotel made the experience incredible. They felt like family and we were sad to part ways with them. The location is amazing. Quick walk from the train station. Right by the river for a swim with the locals! They even provided us with the familiar waterproof bags for floating down the river. Marco the doorman made my young adult kids feel like they were really special! Thank you!

Congratulations to the management for having so well trained staff. Everything was perfectly organized , staff was polite courteous and always going above and beyond their call of duty. Will definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely be back. Thank you all for a job extremely well done.

The property is expensive, but in many ways worth it. Always a taxi available. Taxi to airport approx $60 (US currency) each way or you can make your way to the train station (10 min walk). The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Marco greeted us and gave us an excellent introduction to the hotel and facilities. Valentina, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were both amazing people and made us feel very welcome. Everyone spoke English, among other languages, and was polite. The bar prices were reasonable. The staff there were very friendly. Bad things: The food is very poor in quantity and quality, especially for the prices charged. I am not saying this as an "American who expects large portions". We paid $14 each for 2 soups (one mushroom, one wonton). Both were about 3/4 cup. The mushroom was completely creamed, like Campbells worthy and the wonton was poor watery chicken broth with odd meat filled breadsticks that apparently were the wontons (this is not a dumpling). We also got a chicken Ceasar salad for $28 which is essentially 1 grilled chicken breast and 4 small leaves of lettuce under it. For desert we said well let\'s get the NY Cheesecake. I don\'t know what that was, but cheesecake it was not. More like custard pie. We couldn\'t finish it. Even though everything in Zurich is very expensive, it would be nice to know the hotel was a good option, but it is definitely not. Our total bill for the meal was about $80 US.

All good at this Hotel. Outstanding staffs in the reception and breakfast area. The rooms were comfortable with both coffee machine and kettle provided. Considerate enough to provide us with umbrella when the rail played spoil sport.The breakfast had a good spread, with a very welcoming Mexian and Asian cuisine. With lake Limmat on the side and other major streets within walkable distance, the location is unbeatable.Overall good stay, will definitely be back.

Well located hotel a short walk from the main train station in Zurich and the old town. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. The bed was very comfortable and the finishes were updated. Pleasant stay. The staff was helpful with recommendations and they had umbrellas and ponchos available.

We had a wonderful stay. Great location, close to main station and Zurich center. The front desk staff and luggage services were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great as well as the service of the restaurant staff. The safe deposit box in our room got stuck and Natasa at the front desk helped us early in the morning right on time to catch our train.

Excellence service, friendly and welcoming staff. Easy access to Limmat (river) for a summer swim. This Marriot will provide a floating bag with towel when requested should you need to take a swim. A slight drawback is the length walk from Zurich Haufbahnhopf, even though it seems very close on the maps, it's a 10-15min walk, at least it's very direct and straight. Great views.

Excellent location! Walkable to Bus Parking, either you’re going for a day tour or travelling to other Schengen countries- buses are there. It’s also walkable to trams and trains. You can even walk to Zurich Central from the hotel. Amazing views and very nice people in Zurich. It’s good to have breakfast every day at the hotel. Good food, great service!

Wouldn’t recommend. We stayed at the new wing and the description states it is a city view room. However, we were given a room facing a construction site which was unpleasant and noisy. When we reported this to the receptionist we were told that none of the rooms in this new wing have a city view and it is Expedia’s fault for incorrectly advertising it, which was disappointing given we paid a premium for these rooms. None of the parties have taken responsibility or refunded us. The room cleaning was not up to the mark. One towel was provided for 3 people, soap and body lotion not refilled, toilet seat not very clean, flush kept running, baby cot not set up despite reminding multiple times. Not a 5 star in any shape or form. The breakfast was very bad. No fresh juice, and the coffee was from a coffee vending machine, the saltiest omelette possible, barely any vegetarian or vegan options. The white elephant restaurant onsite was the only nice thing about this property. We were charged extra city tax for our infant which on pointing out they said their accounting team will refund the next day, never happened. At checkout they separately added breakfast cost to our bill which was already included in the room price. It took them a while to sort it out and then they charged us for a drink from the mini bar which we did not even touch. Took a lot of unpleasant discussion at checkout. I asked them for a compensation for all the hassle, they gave me a 17 CHF off from 1500 I paid! Joke

Location is just perfect, close to the train station, main shopping street and lake Zurich! Breakfast buffet was one of the best i've seen in Europe. For my Middle Eastern friends, you will be pleasantly surprised to find a shattaf in the toilets, thank me later 😊

The hotel has two buildings, and we stayed in the other building. Having to get off the elevator, walk some distance, and then take another elevator is not very convenient, especially if you have children aged 2, 4, and 11. It would have been much better if families with young children had been given the option to use just one elevator for easier access. Apart from that, everything was wonderful. The breakfast, rooms, and staff were all excellent. Another great advantage is that there are restaurants at the hotel where you can eat until late, which is especially convenient for families with children. Thank you for everything!

Overall poor experience. I hadn’t been informed that there would be an extra charge for a 3rd person even though I had booked the room for 3, 1 adult and 2 children (14 & 12 years old at the time of booking and checkin). I am perplexed that the extra charge for a 3rd person wasn’t matched by extra services; we still had only 2 bath robes until we requested for more, we only had 2 slippers until we asked for 1 more pair and we were given 1 bottle of mouth wash during the whole stay. The food eCHO was a cold lamb shank which had to be returned to the kitchen and the chicken burger at the Lenox bar was served without avocado and eggs. The chicken burger was also returned to the kitchen. The whole experience has been atrociously poor. Won’t recommend
