The Blanche

Beautiful hotel! Parking was super easy and everything was super walkable. 10 out of 10!!

The hotel was a unique historical building. Parking was across the street, so not too far. Easy process, with lobby code and door code.

The hotel itself was beautiful. Old and historic and grand. We picked and paid for a king bed room but got a queen bed. Mattress was so soft you folded in half. Not in a good way. There is no lobby staff so changing to the right room wasn’t an option. I do like the no lobby key check in. Going right to the room and using code is way better but need to get the room selection process right.

We stayed in an Executive room with a gorgeous, fluffy king-size bed that exceeded our expectations. The bathroom was spacious. The decor in the building was stunning, with beautiful crystal chandeliers and antique wooden floors. The only thing was, the full kitchen did not have any plates or glasses. No paper towels, nothing. It was bizarre. We inquired but received no response from the management. I'm not unhappy about it because we were only there for two nights. If we ever come back to Lake City, we might stay again and will come prepared. Other than that, it was easy to get in touch with someone to refill toilet paper and towels. Nice people. BTW, If you visit Lake City, you MUST see the mineral springs!

The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was perfectly located for our plans. We had zero issues, so it didnt bother us to know there's no staff on site, we actually really liked that part of it.
