The view of course is spectacular. The pool was just the right temperature, so clean and the staff very attentive and friendly. The room was sparkling clean and stocked with more than anything we needed. The location could not be better if you wish to visit the Valley of the Temples and the Archeological museum. We enjoyed excellent massages at the Spa and abundant breakfasts. The group dinner in the herb garden was fun and a wonderful taste of so many Sicilian dishes. The gift of wine Nero Diavolo was delicious, dry but flavorful.

Struttura molto bella in un luogo incantevole. Ottimo ristorante. Personale gentile e disponibile. L'unico punto negativo era il servizio spa. Ho atteso la massaggiatrice già spogliata sul lettino per troppo tempo. Il massaggio era ok ma inadeguato ad un albergo a 5 stelle. Servizio costoso e più breve dei 50 minuti prenotati.

A really special property located right near the Temples. The property is quiet and beautifully maintained - ist like staying in someone’s classy villa. Not a lot of rooms so most of the property is yours - never fighting for a table or area to relax. Not really walkable to anything other than the Temples which you access through a private gate only for hotel guests. They may have a shuttle in the peak season but I would check. The restaurant has amazing breakfast and the dinner is five stars. If you stay here you will probably need a car to see the Agrigento historic center or other areas in the region. The staff is excellent and everyone is helpful and does their best. Great check in and check out process and front desk is very helpful with information. The spa services were great and while it was winter the pool was nice with an amazing view of the Temple. We had junior suite and it was a great size room with a great layout. The gym was pretty basic but gets the job done and super clean.

On arrival our room was upgraded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large, nicely decorated, well appointed and spotless. The view of Temple Concordia was unobstructed and fantastic. It was nice to buy the site tickets at front desk and use their private entrance. Restaurant was nice, but VERY expensive-cheeseburger $35euro, soup$20, gelato $20.

Front doorman: he just ignored us when we were carrying our backpacks along with other bags from the car. We ended up carrying our bags to the room ourselves since no one offered to help, not even from the front desk. Front desk girl and lady: no greetings, seemed a bit indifferent/cold about us checking-in--we didn't feel welcomed at all. We booked a deluxe room (supposedly big enough for up to three guests accordingly to the booking site) with a nice view of the Valley of the Temples to celebrate our milestone wedding anniversary; however, we were given a smaller room big enough only for two without a view. Yet there was no explanations as if we would not know the difference. I understand that hotels sometimes over-book rooms, and rooms have to be shuffled. We didn't bring this matter up with the front desk since it was just for one night stay. Nonetheless, it left us with a bad impression of the hotel. If the hotel claims to be five stars, the service provided at the property should also be at that caliber; unfortunately it wasn't. Pros: another front desk man who was very friendly. And the cleaning staff does an excellent job--the whole property is very clean.

The property is beautiful, and the check-in was great. The room itself was lovely, with a lovely view. Unfortunately, the hotel centrally controls the room temperature and had switched to heat-only mode for the season. This made our room far too hot for a good night’s sleep. Even with the windows open, the temperature remained over 25 degrees Celsius at night. We spoke to the front desk multiple times over our two-day stay, and they promised to get back to us, but no one ever did. Despite the beautiful property, we felt the customer service at the hotel and restaurants was lacking.

Amazing hotel. Excellent view. Great food. Hot in July, A/C in room 103 was weak but they offered to move us. They have a private entrance to visit the ruins. We’ll worth it. I’m only sorry we just planned one night. Should have been three.

The hotel has a magnificent view of the temples and the hotel itself is has beautiful rooms, pool and dining areas. Our room had a porch with views of the temples. It was mesmerizing looking at the Temple of Cordia and Juno during the day and lit up at night.

My husband and I had booked the Presidential Suite for two nights during our honeymoon. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to the Villa Suite, which was 80 euro more per night but worth it for a “splurge.” We enjoyed spending time on our large private terrace, but it should be noted that the terrace is frequented by some noisy doves. We like animals so it wasn’t a problem, even when one dove entered our room and needed some assistance finding her way out… the hot tub was a nice touch but it was difficult to operate (the instructions weren’t clear) and the tub itself wasn’t very clean. There was also a strange odor from the bathroom likely do to the age of the plumbing that was notable but not bothersome when we left the door closed. I enjoyed having access to a Dyson hairdryer because I do not have one at home ;) Some advice - the rooms could use a bottle opener for wine bottles and instructions for use of the Nespresso machine. All other aspects of our stay were wonderful! The staff has a great deal of respect for their work and take pride in making guests feel welcome. This was a “bucket list” excursion for us and we will not likely opt to return given the high cost of our stay, but it’s a worthwhile booking for special celebrations and I would recommend it for anyone who can afford it.

O hotel é muito bonito e bem localizado. Bem próximo ao Vale dos Templos. Dá para ir a pé e existe uma passagem que da acesso direto do hotel ao interior do Parque. Logo que chegamos, recebemos um upgrade no quarto e fomos colocados num quarto espetacular, com vista para o templo da Concórdia e uma pequena varanda privativa, muito agradável. O interior do quarto era impecável, amplo, confortável e com todas as funcionalidades e itens de conforto possíveis. As amenidades (shampoo, condicionador e sabonete (em barra)) eram de ótima qualidade. O secador de cabelos era da marca Dyson. O hotel ainda disponibilizava, gratuitamente, água e café Nespresso. Sem dúvida, um dos melhores quartos onde já fiquei hospedado. As únicas observações que acho que podem melhorar dizem respeito ao restaurante. No jantar, pedimos o menu, que até era bem saboroso, mas a quantidade era excessiva. Já o café da manhã seria melhor se fosse em esquema “buffet” e não a la carte.

No jantar, pedimos o menu, que até era bem saboroso, mas a quantidade era excessiva. Já o café da manhã seria melhor se fosse em esquema “buffet” e não a la carte.

Unfortunately, the hotel centrally controls the room temperature and had switched to heat-only mode for the season. This made our room far too hot for a good night’s sleep. Even with the windows open, the temperature remained over 25 degrees Celsius at night. We spoke to the front desk multiple times over our two-day stay, and they promised to get back to us, but no one ever did. Despite the beautiful property, we felt the customer service at the hotel and restaurants was lacking.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Athena Resort! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and we were immediately taken by the beauty of the surroundings. Finding parking was easy, and we were happy that it was complimentary. Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted with drinks, and the check-in process was handled seamlessly. Even better, our luggage had already been delivered to our room by the time we arrived, which made the start of our stay even more relaxing. The views from our room were breathtaking, especially at night when the Concordia lit up the sky. The next morning, we had breakfast in the neighboring building, and the entrance was a see-through cover over ancient ruins – super cool. We were able to get tickets to Valley of the Temples from the resort. The ease of access via a private entrance at the resort was a bonus. As we walked to the Valley from the private entrance, we admired the thousands of wild flowers lining the path. This resort offers an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, history, and convenience. We’ll definitely be back and plan to stay longer next time!

Front doorman: he just ignored us when we were carrying our backpacks along with other bags from the car. We ended up carrying our bags to the room ourselves since no one offered to help, not even from the front desk. Front desk girl and lady: no greetings, seemed a bit indifferent/cold about us checking-in--we didn't feel welcomed at all. We booked a deluxe room (supposedly big enough for up to three guests accordingly to the booking site) with a nice view of the Valley of the Temples to celebrate our milestone wedding anniversary; however, we were given a smaller room big enough only for two without a view. Yet there was no explanations as if we would not know the difference. I understand that hotels sometimes over-book rooms, and rooms have to be shuffled. We didn't bring this matter up with the front desk since it was just for one night stay. Nonetheless, it left us with a bad impression of the hotel. If the hotel claims to be five stars, the service provided at the property should also be at that caliber; unfortunately it wasn't. Pros: another front desk man who was very friendly. And the cleaning staff does an excellent job--the whole property is very clean.

The hotel has a magnificent view of the temples and the hotel itself is has beautiful rooms, pool and dining areas. Our room had a porch with views of the temples. It was mesmerizing looking at the Temple of Cordia and Juno during the day and lit up at night.

Five star hotel and dining experience. You literally can’t beat staying here if you want to explore the ruins. You get earlier access than everyone in the morning when the gates open and get a view of it lit up at night. You also have to dine at the restaurant while you’re there. 10/10 all around! We loved our night here.

The property has spectacular views of the Temples. The Sicilian dinner was tasty but too much food. The restaurant food was just ok. We were a party of 3 with 2 rooms. They upgraded the single person to the Presidential suite and squeezed 2 persons in the standard room! Disappointed with that.

A comfortable resort hotel in a stunning setting. Nice pool, spa services, very clean. The food in the three eateries was underwhelming but the service was great. The best part is seeing an Ancient Greek temple from my bed. The nearby archeological park is spectacular, both for the ancient ruins and the surrounding landscape.

The view of The Temples was amazing! We booked a patio room that faced the Temples. The staff is wonderful. The messages e had were amazing. Make sure you have the dinner in the herb garden over looking the Temples, but don’t eat the day before this meal. Easy access with a private gate to the Archaeological park and temples was a plus. Make sure you book a guide. The hotel can book one for you. The dinner we had at the dining time was not very good. We had lobster and pasta it was a miss.

The facilities of the hotel are excellent - pool, Turkish shower in the room, etc…. Don’t expect a late checkout during high season. The restaurant was so-so and very expensive, especially for children’s meals. Take advantage of direct accesses to the Archeologic park from the property by buying your ticket/tour from the hotel and enjoy a 15 minute hike through an orchard and into the park.
