Kinder unter 16 J. dürfen leider nur in den kalten Draussenpool, nicht in das warme Becken, das zum Spa gehört. Für uns daher leider eine Enttäuschung. Zimmer recht hell, da direkt vor dem Fenster Lampen leuchten. Lage, Personal und Sauberkeit aber top!

Perfect hotel stay before we flew home. There was a pool, gym and hotel bar. We had a great meal nearby at Trattoria Breccia which is the perfect walk. We didn't get the chance to use the spa because it closed at 8pm. Breakfast included was great.

The hotel has a good location, it was a 15 minute or so walk from Termini and not far from the Castro Pretorio station on the Blue Line (Metro). On entering the hotel we where warmly welcomed by reception, quickly given the keys to the room and information about the pool, towels and spa access (fee applied). The room was well presented, it was modern, but with wooden opening windows, a double bed, vanity table, mini bar, wardrobe, separate shower and bathroom and A/C. We did experience a problem in room 219, however, we didn't complain so I have kept the overall rating high but taken the factor into account: There was a damp smell from the shower, I suspect there may be something under the tiles, when you where in the room for a while, you adjusted, but if you left and come back you could smell it again very strong, like a mold/mildew smell. The shower itself was clean, but there was a really strong odor which i'm certain was not drain related. As we only stayed for 2 nights, we didn't let it worry us. The Hotel lounge bar was fantastic, I understand it was a consecrated church, which made for a lovely ambiance with the stained glass windows, tiled floor and the veranda. The pool was great for a dip, there was a lot of people on the day and not enough seating. The pool is freezing, but given the heat it was a welcomed respite. Overall I would stay at the building again, but would mention if I had the same issue with the room. Photos below are taken from a longer video

The hotel overall was great. Great location for transportation links into the city centre and in a quiet neighbourhood. Although it was next to a police station the noise from the sirens wasn't too bad. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but there were some minor issues. We went with 2 kids under 10 year old and we thought we had access to the indoor pool having confirmed it with the hotel by email before we departed. However, when we got to the hotel we were told under 16s are not allowed as the pool is more of a jacuzzi than a pool and we would only be able to access the outdoor pool. However, the outdoor pool is not heated so unless you like cold swims its not usable outside summer months. The other issue was that the rooms do not have side lamps but have tiny spot lights in the ceiling so at night time its very difficult to see in the sides of the room. There were no chest of drawers in the room so we were living out of suitcases and with kids the rooms did become very messy. Finally, we had the junior suite room with the hot tub, which was great however I don't think it gets a proper deep clean too often so for the first 3-4 times we used it (due to lack of a pool) the jets would tend to spit out bits of dark fluff bits and hairs which is not great at all. On the plus side apart from one lady at the counter all the staff were very nice and helpful.

The facilities are beautiful in the middle of the city but away from the crowded touristy areas and convenient walk from the train station. Spa and pool area are very comfortable and relaxing. The bar and restaurant area are beautiful. Breakfast buffet and restaurant has a patio. The room is clean but a little dark.

Look no further! A real find! This hotel has included an adults only onsite spa that has a salt therapy room, water massage therapy pool, hammam and sauna, It also has a small outdoor pool and a delicious included breakfast. In the evening, the spacious lobby and bar area has live piano! The hotel is a short 7 minute walk from Roma Termini Rail station! I loved it so much that I rebooked it for the night before our return flight home! Its a gem!

Our room was lovely, great balcony, good shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast was great too good selection of food and drinks. The outside pool was open 8-8 but was freezing which was a shame and a large charge to use the indoor pool/spa. You had to book in advance too and it had restricted opening times.

Not the best location. Spa and breakfast as additional high cost so did not use it. Not really a 4 star hotel, bed was uncomfortable. The hotel did not look like in picture, for example the pool was not as in picture.

Carpets in our room were just disgusting. Full of stains and 1 massive burn. There's black mold on the shower celling and in shower itself. Extractor fan dirty and really noisy as well as fitting was supre flimsy. Staff on the reception soulless, just charging you for everything instead of politely explaining about hotel amenities and near by things. Cleaning and breakfasts staff was excellent. Breakfasts is ok, could do with some fresh melon or something similar instead of carb overload. If you want to use indoor pool, you'll have to pay €25 per visit and this wasn't advertised on Expedia. Proper scam. Outdoor pool is for penguins if they ever escape from Rome zoo as it's just super freezing. No point of having it running once summer is over. False advertising that. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel. Max 2 stars if lucky. Book somewhere else if you can! Plenty of gorgeous options around! We've stayed near by a year ago and it was just perfect 👌 Only 4 star thing about this place is its 4 star location, nothing else

Nice quiet property. However, our room had a foul smell upon entry and the washroom mirror had a large crack and the light fixture was dangling in front of the mirror. The bathroom had a mirror but it was the only mirror on the room. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Pool was bigger than expected.

Onze kamer werdt ontzettend goed schoon gehouden. Wel elke dag schone lakens😁. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Er is voor iedereen wel wat en je kan ook gewoon cappucino bestellen bij het ontbijt.

The property was in a good location for us close to collection points for excursions but may be a little far from the central city for some people. Whilst the room was excellently laid out in the junior suite with a bedroom and jacuzzi bath, some of the finishing in the room was not great and the shower was defective. The cleaners came to the room each day and wiped over the bathroom and made the bed but that felt to be the extent of the cleaning and the carpet felt dirty.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was lovely. The staff are very nice and the hotel is clean, quiet and has good facilities. The breakfast is okay, very basic but it was perfect for us. The lunch and dinner is good but very expensive compared to restaurants around the area. We are vegetarians and having pizza/pasta was great but if you want a change the I'd recommend going to the South Indian restaurant called Saravanaa Bhavan. This restaurant is 7mins walk from the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to Colleseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountains. We also used he Spa which again is very basic for for 25 Euros per person, it's nice to have on the complex.

Ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Das Bad ist nicht gerade sauber und an der Dusche müsste so einiges erneuert werden. Das Frühstück war sehr spartanisch.

Schönes Hotel in Rom, nähe zum Hauptbahnhof, sodass alles sehr gut erreichbar ist. Personal war super lieb und immer freundlich. Auch Terrasse und Pool inmitten von Rom bei 30 Grad absolut super und auch gepflegt. Einzig negativ war das Zimmer. Im Bad im Waschbecken war schon Schimmel und das Zimmer war ziemlich dunkel. Für einen Kurztrip aber ok

Property was about 15min walk from train station which we wanted as that was our means of transportation for our trip. Easy to get a cab that hotel staff would call to take us to other destinations. It was quite a distance (walking) from main attractions. 20 min cab ride to Vatican. Room was unique - modern touch screen powered lights etc. Our room was next to road so could hear a bit of traffic at night but nothing overly disturbing. Our room was clean but shower had some mold/mildew build up in spots that needs to be taken care of as well as door to shower didn’t completely close and water puddled on floor. Beds were decent for a nights rest. Breakfast was decent - eggs, fruit, bacon, pastries- if you want cappuccino or espresso type drinks you need to ask staff to get it as on buffet they have only americano and hot milk in carafe. Pool was refreshing, fairly small but ok for amount of people using it. They give you towels to use at front desk. They prefer city tax to be paid in cash and had notes all over the hotel to remind you of that. The only place we stayed that seemed so adamant about that. Everywhere else we used card. Lobby was beautiful and restaurant overlooked lobby.

The mattress was as hard as a rock, very uncomfortable, the lighting in the bathroom was difficult to apply makeup and for my husband to shave, too dark, but the room was clean. The gym was always closed in the morning so my husband and I always had to ask front desk to open for us. When you came into the lobby after a long hot day touring Rome they had a table with refreshments which was wonderful to have but they were empty sometimes or no clean glasses. We stayed for 3 days. The area is safe and close to restaurants and cafes.

The hotel has a good location, it was a 15 minute or so walk from Termini and not far from the Castro Pretorio station on the Blue Line (Metro). On entering the hotel we where warmly welcomed by reception, quickly given the keys to the room and information about the pool, towels and spa access (fee applied). The room was well presented, it was modern, but with wooden opening windows, a double bed, vanity table, mini bar, wardrobe, separate shower and bathroom and A/C. We did experience a problem in room 219, however, we didn't complain so I have kept the overall rating high but taken the factor into account: There was a damp smell from the shower, I suspect there may be something under the tiles, when you where in the room for a while, you adjusted, but if you left and come back you could smell it again very strong, like a mold/mildew smell. The shower itself was clean, but there was a really strong odor which i'm certain was not drain related. As we only stayed for 2 nights, we didn't let it worry us. The Hotel lounge bar was fantastic, I understand it was a consecrated church, which made for a lovely ambiance with the stained glass windows, tiled floor and the veranda. The pool was great for a dip, there was a lot of people on the day and not enough seating. The pool is freezing, but given the heat it was a welcomed respite. We loved the Hotel. The food was very good and the bar was stunning. The room was the problem. There were no drawers or places to put things so we lived out of our suitcase for days and felt like we were climbing over each other and our baggage. There were 2 hangers in the small closet. The pillows were also the most uncomfortable I have ever had. If you are alone or only in for a night it’s good.

The pool was small but did the job. The central lounge was magnificent with a grand piano anyone could play. But the rooms were TOO SMALL with non-functional avant garde design that do not serve guests' needs. NO SURFACE SPACE! No hooks on which to hang wet bathing suits. No night table, 1 chair for 4 people. Bathroom was size of postage stamp with zero space to put one's toiletries. Wastebasket was size of a Kleenex box. I asked for another one and a small table. Two days later still had neither. With a few upgrades The Building could be 4 star. Now, a 3.5, not more.

We had a good stay at The Building. It’s a little bit further from main attractions but still in walkable distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only minor complaint was that the wifi in our room wouldn’t connect intermittently. However, not the biggest of deals for us as we didn’t spend too much time in our room.

Manager was awful! Did not have air conditioning and manager took no responsibility! He basically blamed us! Had family and friends who had recommended this hotel but will never go back! Was offered no compensation! I will make sure no one I know ever goes there! Rest of staff were great but manager very sketchy! Manager made excuses and would not help us out and I had my 84 year old mother! Shame on him!!!

Overall good hotell but the bathroom was a little bit bad. The shower door didn't close properly so water run outside also door to the bathroom had no lock and had visible cracks so others in your room could see through it.

Overall ok. Would say 3*. The location of this property is not in a nice area IMO , not central ( which I knew but assumed there would be nice restaurants around) ..cinema down the road advertised “sexy movies” The entrance to the hotel looks like a hostel , some staff welcoming, others need to work on their customer service etiquette, a smile or a simple hello or please when checking guests in is not too much to expect. About ten steps into the hotel so if you’re carrying cases or have any mobility impairment in any way your stuck. I did see the young worker carrying heavy luggage piled up and taking them down the steps .. no health and safety for staff! The hotel lets guest smoke and vape around the pool , horrible if your dining out or have young children trying to enjoy the pool . Smokers need to have a separate area! In this day and age. Only about 8 loungers around pool, not enough for number of hotel guests. The bar area inside is very dismal, not well lit and definitely not enticing. The breakfast was ok!! Lots of cakes … if you like desert for breakfast you’re good. Milk and yogurts not on ice and were therefore warm… and the fresh juices were watered down and tasted vile.

LOVED this hotel!! The staff was incredible, Claudio was the best!! We got off the flight and drove straight here, we were early but Claudio helped us check in to one of our 2 rooms early so we could rest. He gave great dining & shopping recommendations and even helped us get a cab for a fair price so weren’t taken advantage of us tourists. The rooms were unreal!! The bed, the huge bright windows, the bathrooms - everything was perfect & I will definitely go back here again.

Carpets in our room were just disgusting. Full of stains and 1 massive burn. There's black mold on the shower celling and in shower itself. Extractor fan dirty and really noisy as well as fitting was supre flimsy. Staff on the reception soulless, just charging you for everything instead of politely explaining about hotel amenities and near by things. Cleaning and breakfasts staff was excellent. Breakfasts is ok, could do with some fresh melon or something similar instead of carb overload. If you want to use indoor pool, you'll have to pay €25 per visit and this wasn't advertised on Expedia. Proper scam. Outdoor pool is for penguins if they ever escape from Rome zoo as it's just super freezing. No point of having it running once summer is over. False advertising that. It's definitely not a 4 star hotel. Max 2 stars if lucky. Book somewhere else if you can! Plenty of gorgeous options around! We've stayed near by a year ago and it was just perfect 👌 Only 4 star thing about this place is its 4 star location, nothing else

This is a lovely hotel with a friendly staff. It is a little out of the way from most of the major tourist attractions, but close to Termini, so that is convenient. There are several nice dining options nearby, as well as at the hotel itself. The pool and the sundeck are lovely. Definitely a place I would stay on our next trip to Rome.

The hotel overall was great. Great location for transportation links into the city centre and in a quiet neighbourhood. Although it was next to a police station the noise from the sirens wasn't too bad. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but there were some minor issues. We went with 2 kids under 10 year old and we thought we had access to the indoor pool having confirmed it with the hotel by email before we departed. However, when we got to the hotel we were told under 16s are not allowed as the pool is more of a jacuzzi than a pool and we would only be able to access the outdoor pool. However, the outdoor pool is not heated so unless you like cold swims its not usable outside summer months. The other issue was that the rooms do not have side lamps but have tiny spot lights in the ceiling so at night time its very difficult to see in the sides of the room. There were no chest of drawers in the room so we were living out of suitcases and with kids the rooms did become very messy. Finally, we had the junior suite room with the hot tub, which was great however I don't think it gets a proper deep clean too often so for the first 3-4 times we used it (due to lack of a pool) the jets would tend to spit out bits of dark fluff bits and hairs which is not great at all. On the plus side apart from one lady at the counter all the staff were very nice and helpful.

Im Bad und im Kleiderschrank fehlen jedoch genügend Ablageflächen. Das Frühstück war okay, bis auf den Kaffee in der Thermoskanne. Der ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns beim Servicepersonal jeden Tag einen Cappuccino bestellt, der war sehr gut. Zusammenfassend war es aber ein guter Aufenthalt im Hotel.

We booked the hotel as it was convenient for Termini. That meant we were a long walk from the main attractions, so location was the only downside. Room was clean but quite small. Onze kamer werdt ontzettend goed schoon gehouden. Wel elke dag schone lakens😁. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Er is voor iedereen wel wat en je kan ook gewoon cappucino bestellen bij het ontbijt.

Das Hotel ist von der Metrostation und auch vom Hauptbahnhof fußläufig gut erreichbar sowie der Trevibrunnen und die spanische Treppe. Das Dreibettzimmer war in Ordnung. Im Bad und im Kleiderschrank fehlen jedoch genügend Ablageflächen. Das Frühstück war okay, bis auf den Kaffee in der Thermoskanne. Der ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns beim Servicepersonal jeden Tag einen Cappuccino bestellt, der war sehr gut. Zusammenfassend war es aber ein guter Aufenthalt im Hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was lovely. The staff are very nice and the hotel is clean, quiet and has good facilities. The breakfast is okay, very basic but it was perfect for us. The lunch and dinner is good but very expensive compared to restaurants around the area. We are vegetarians and having pizza/pasta was great but if you want a change the I'd recommend going to the South Indian restaurant called Saravanaa Bhavan. This restaurant is 7mins walk from the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking to Colleseum, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountains. We also used he Spa which again is very basic for for 25 Euros per person, it's nice to have on the complex.

Excellent. Would book again. During the heatwave in Rome, it was incredible to cool off in HtB pool. Staff were excellent. Rooms (we had a triple room) were great. Breakfast and dinner lovely. Bar drinks delicious and the piano bar/piano player fantastic. Ambience was wonderful.

This hotel has a great location if you want to get out of some of the hustle and bustle of more touristed areas of Rome. It is just a 6-min walk to the Castro Pretorio metro stop allowing you to take the metro in to various other parts of Rome. It's also around a 15-min walk to Termini. The hotel is located in the midst of many embassies which makes it very safe if over-policed. It is also incredibly quiet. The pool was a wonderful getaway during our hot July visit. Though some reviewers found it to cold, we enjoyed it. The cool temps meant people tended to jump in and out, so that even if there were various guests around the pool, it never felt too busy. Our room had adequate AC and the hotel bar was a beautiful area to spend time. My only complaint is that upon check-in, we were told our child wouldn't count toward the daily tax, but then on check out, we were charged the daily tax for all of us. When I asked about this, the person checking us out didn't really explain the discrepancy or recognize the difference in what they promised vs. what we were charged, and was fairly rude about me asking why there was a a charge when we were told there wouldn't be.

Good location, 2nd room was good (first room was without aircon - while outside +42). No organic coffee (you have to ask for it!). Breakfast was very poor. Staff is friendly and polite, however younger receptionist was awkward and needs to learn politeness. Regarding cleaners- Dear management - you need to educate your staff! They coming inside rooms without knocking doors, they doing whatever they want and still ignoring while I am demanding to leave room because I am having shower! Else is ok.

We stayed for 2 nights in June. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to their junior suite. Wonderful panoramic views from the private roof terrace. Jacuzzi bath was a bonus. The hotel was wonderful but slightly out of city centre. If first time travellers to Rome like us we found if difficult to navigate public transport and elected for taxi’s to centre instead.
