I would stay here again. While the check in process was a bit slow, the room was comfy, air conditioned, and had a great shower. There's a rush for check in at 3pm so be prepared to wait. They have a great luggage service for 3 euros, so you can ditch your stuff and wander the city while you wait for check in, or before you leave the city. Everything is walkable from this location, which is fabulous.

This hostel location was convenient and the staff super friendly. However, the room was in an incredible state of disrepair, and clearly whoever cleans the rooms doesn’t report what is broken. The toilet flush needed to be continuously pressed because it was broken. One of the shower doors was falling, which made it impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. The TV was faulty and wouldn’t turn off, so I had to mute the volume in order to sleep at night. The doors to the balcony were so loose that there was a cold draft, and we could hear the street noise. Also, there is only one lift serving this very large building, so you might have to wait a long time if you are carrying heavy luggage and cannot use the stairs. Overall I believe this hostel is low value for money until they care about maintenance.

Une très bon emplacement, tu peux accepter vite fait à toutes les monuments historiques, au niveau de rapport qualité prix, c’est une bon choix, on la pu profiter du piscine, des évènements sur exemple, toutes les lundis, je peux assister à un évènement pour accueillir le nouveaux venu.

Had a very nice pool and lounge area, restaurant and bar too. Like a hostel resort. Florence is very walkable and this hostel was in the area of walkability. Has washer/dryers but it ate my Euros and the staff could not refund it.

Nice hostel, location is a walk away from the centre. Very good restaurants nearby. The building is old, so pipes make noise and the lift is very dodgy. The indoor pool and sauna area is very nice for the price. Had a bad experience with a very rude man at the reception, but other staff were very nice. Rooms were nice but not a lot of privacy, as there are no curtains in beds. Met loads of lovely people.

Plus Florence has a lot of great amenities. Between the rooftop terrace (with a bar & a great view) and the pool area (also with a bar & food services), the facility itself provides areas for rest & recreation. We had a hose in our bathroom that leaked onto the floor that was not addressed in a timely manner. Overall, however, the facilities were clean & pretty well maintained.

Haven’t been to a hostel this clean. The toilet looks like a hotel. I’d highly recommend staying here. Free towels to use, unlike other hostels where you have to pay €2. Walkable distance to attractions.

We stayed in a dorm, which was overall very clean. With the windows open it can be a bit loud outside so closed windows is recommended. Personally didn’t like making our own bed but it’s a dorm so not a huge deal. Also they had body soap dispenser in the shower but always empty. And bathroom toilet paper never got replaced when the room got cleaned up after person would leave which is really my only negative thing I have to say about the cleaning of the room. Location was great and walkable to most attraction within 12-30mins walks. Plenty of restaurant options around and some shopping available near by. Overall I’d recommend to others. Thanks for a good stay.

This property was definitely the biggest hostel I’ve ever stayed in, and it showed. Not necessarily a bad thing! Just full of people. The amenities were very nice, being a restaurant and a few bars inside the property. It did take over an hour to check in though, as it was so busy. The bathrooms inside the shared rooms were not very clean, and I was holding my breath every time I went in. Other than that, an absolutely beautiful hostel in a good part of town and definitely a deal for the price.

Nice place, we had a private double room in the B building so we didn’t have hear all the teenagers that are in the hostel, which was good. Biggest issues were no AC in the room nor any way to get any ventilation as the window handle was broken off in our room, so it got hot really quick. Also the lack of lightening as they only had one LED light strip for the entire room and it was not bright enough - we had to use our phones at night to pack or look for things. Overall the place is a decent choice just keep those things in mind when selecting it. Oh yeah, the beds are super hard.

I stayed 2 nights here in January. Booked a private room.Solo travelling. The hostel has a good breakfast , a variety of hot a cold choices including cakes. Has a restaurant on site - handy after a long travelling day. Good value but limited choices. The communal area with kettle/ microwave/ fridge is so handy. Room and bathroom was clean.Fluffy towels, toiletries provided and daily room cleaning. There was a sauna, swimming pool , small gym but I can't comment on those as didn't use them. Soundproofing could be better. I could hear next room sometimes. Also , I was on the 5th floor ,on the same floor as the roof terrace. It was a bit noisy on one of the night and this is in cold January. I think the noise level could be far worse in warmer months when more people sit out there. Avoid 5th floor if you value your sleep. Overall, I would stay here again but would avoid rooms near the roof terrace.

Our stay was nice, and the staff was accommodating when we needed a hairdryer since ours was broken in the room. The beds were decent, but not amazing. There are no plug outlets by the bed, which made it difficult to use a phone for a clock or alarm, I also needed one for a CPAP, but they were able to find Extension cord so that I could use my CPAP.

Good value for its price. We had a private room for 2, overall quite clean and decent bed (albeit a bit hard and really low/flat pillows). The one actual negative I had is that the sound isolation from outside noice (such as the 6am garbage truck) is truly awful. One of our windows was sagging and unable to fully close, and the blinds were stuck too. Would be a solid 5/5 stars of they fixed the issue above and of they had a few more comfortable beds.

Zimmer sauber. Zimmer zur Straße sehr laut, weil die Fenster auch im geschlossenen Zustand Lärm nicht reduzieren. Zimmer ziemlich abgewohnt und entsprach nicht den Fotos. Personal zum Teil unfreundlich. Wartezeit zum Einchecken ca. 40 min ist viel zu lang. Kaffee zum Frühstück war wirklich schlecht.

It has all the basic functions that you'll need for a hostel. You get what you pay for. We used Firenze as a base for multiple day trips to nearby cities. The location is a 15 minute walk from the station. There are some days that we see log waits at the checkin as the hostel is very popular.

English version follow. J avais oublie de prendre les papiers d identité pour mes enfants. Que la législation Italienne soit très stricte dessus, c est un chose. Refuser le check-in avec seulement une photos des papiers d identité avec l argument 'C est comme si vous vouliez payer avec des billets de monopoly' c'en est une autre. Le temps que j arrive a recuperer une photos des dits papiers j ai eu le temps de contacter un demi douzaine d hôtels qui acceptait parfaitement les photos. Même si c est la politique de l hotel 'PLUS', le message etait malvenu et j ai vraiment eu l impression d être considéré comme un moins que rien. I didn't have the ids for my youngests kids. Italian rules seems really strict about the subject. The check-in was refused to me, even with photos of the IDs. The argument I received was litteraly 'This as want to pay with monopoly money'. By the time I manage to receive photos of this IDs I have contacted several hotels that all accepted the photos. This was rude, I had the feeling to be considered as a thief.

The front desk was always crowded with only 1 person "available". I could understand the AC policy. It was turned on but they couldn't lend me the remote (in order to increase air ventilation). On the other hand, t asked three times for the maintenance guy to pay a visit to fix the AC, but I checked out 3 days later and I was still wainting. Overall, it's a good place, close to main attractions, city center etc, but terrible service.

Perfect stay. My only request would be to make it easier to get change for use of the laundry rooms and even the vending machines. The front desk, the bar downstairs, and even the pub across the street are aware of this issue and refuse to give us change.

Upon arrival we waited 1 hour in line to check in. This seems to be a popular hostel for big groups of people and a lot of movement. The location of this property is great and not too far from anything. Loved the location and the shopping places available near. Only downfalls is that there are no refrigerators in the rooms and the windows seem to have a sensor. One on the window and the other on the frame. These are too apart and windows are thick so they don’t make contact therefore the air conditioner doesn’t work. Check this if you’re going in the summer!

Gostamos bastante da hospedagem. A localização é excelente, com fácil acesso às principais atrações de Florença. O quarto é confortável, de tamanho justo e atendeu muito bem às nossas necessidades. Como o hostel é grande, há sempre bastante movimento nos corredores, mas nada que tenha atrapalhado nossa estadia. No geral, foi uma ótima experiência — nota 9.

Excellent hostel. Regular cleaning, good facilities and helpful staff. Need to stop pigeons getting into breakfast area. Not good... sign to keep doors closed but customers dont so need to have auto closing door. Which eould dolve problem.

I stayed here with my 10-year-old daughter, just the two of us. This was our favorite hotel of the three that we stayed during our Europe trip. I loved the opportunity to introduce her to the concept of a hostel. The pool area was fantastic, as were the hangout areas near the pool. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous, though we didn’t spend much time up there. The breakfast was delicious and an excellent value. The rooms were clean and quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant food was not amazing, but really very good, a solid option if you don’t want to go out for the evening.
