Location and restaurant is top notch. It has a small but functional gym and staff is friendly. However, a room close to elevator isn’t the best because they don’t have great sound proofing. Noise of passing guests , staff , vacuum etc wakes you up.

This hotel is located very well in the shopping district close to the main Cathedral. The facility is very nice, new, and clean. I really care about cleanliness and this place is spotless. like this hotel better than the 5star hotel I stayed in at Milan. And the restaurants (rooftop and Meze) serve amazing food. If I visit Florence again, I am returning to this hotel.

Only complaints the rooftop bar was reserved both nights for private party, so it was closed and we could not enjoy. Also the drain on the shower overflowed but they fixed it the next day.

Our room was beautiful and chic. Overall the hotel was very quiet and accommodating. The sister hotel where the Meze bar was amazing (Great Service from Bruno and the crew) and the Angel Rooftop restaurant was outstanding. We will definitely be staying there again during our next trip to Florence.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of the most popular tourist spots. Staff are amazing. The rooms are great and very quirky. Rooftop bar and restaurant is amazing. You can have breakfast up there too. The hotel has two properties and the other has a lovely small champagne bar and you can have breakfast in there if you prefer. There no lobby space as such but you don't need it. Be sure to book the rooftop for dinner as it's really popular.

Front desk employees, particularly David and the kind attentive ladies in the breakfast area, get a special shout out. I stayed in a superior room (room 1008). However the room given was situated in an alcove, so that when you open the window is only opens up to a central column area with no view (concrete all sides) - with a view directly into another person's bedroom. Also that central column area is where all the exhaust fumes from kitches rises from it seems - so it was smelling of food and cooking fat smells. So for whole stay i had not only the window closed and shutters closed - making the room incredibly stuffy. So hardly spent time in the room and was outside in Florence. Also cleaning should take place early in morning, on one occasion my room was not ready till 4pm even after mentioning and complaining.

Location location location! We spent 5 days walking Florence and this hotel was 5-15min walk to everything. Keep in mind they are in the heart of everything so it can be a bit noisy with the windows open but with the windows closed it was quiet enough. Our room had a balcony and we loved it. Had breakfast once and it was very good - a lot of food! Highly recommend this hotel

The team were great, and Angelo was especially helpful. I loved the location, you can easily head out, explore, and walk back to the hotel within minutes to rest. As far as city-break hotels go, this was right up there. The hotel’s design is also excellent.

Don’t stay on fourth floor as you will hear EVERYTHING above you at the restaurant all night long. Horrible sleep. The staff isn’t very friendly or helpful, no worries I booked things myself without their help. Don’t expect your laundry to return on time and when it doesn’t they offer no compensation. The cleaning staff didn’t clean simply made the bed never took out or changed full trash cans etc.

Excellent location to walk to most of the major attractions. Lots of dining options available, including the roof top bar which had an amazing view. Staff was kind and helpful, and I probably can't say enough about how accommodating they were. Rooms were clean. The area around the hotel is the center of it all so would not recommend if you want quiet. Great spot if you want to enjoy the excitement of Florence.

This is a wonderful, upscale hotel in an absolutely fabulous part of town with easy walking to any of the major sites. Dozens of restaurants are also just steps away and the hotel itself boasts one of the cities most popular rooftop bars where hotel guests seem to get preferred seating. The train station is also only a few minutes taxi ride away!

Hotel was in the perfect location. Everything was clean and seemed recently remodeled. The best was eating at their rooftop restaraunt! The view was amazing. Skip the breakfast and go to a local place steps outside of the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was a bit pricy.
