Hotel Ginevra

Hotel is fine but not suitable for tourists with big and heavy luggages, too many stairs to climb. Beddings are not as great. Pillows are overused, neck hurts…water heater takes a long time to run. Area is not safe. But very close to Napoli Centrale. Host is friendly and accommodating.

Hotel op paar stappen van centraal station,hotel ligt op tweede verdieping,dus wat trap lopen. Hotel heeft geen 24u receptie en spreken bijna geen Engels.Kamer was schoon en iedere dag gepoetst incl schone handdoeken. Hotel ligt centraal en is prijstechnisch zeer in orde,verwacht geen luxe.

Come Hotel economico sicuramente ne vale la pena, alcuni servizi purtroppo non si sono dimostrati all'altezza come ad esempio il WI-Fi che era spesso e volentieri con segnale scarso o debole. Per il resto è funzionale l'indispensabile c'è e permette un confortevole soggiorno. Il fatto che sia al secondo piano senza ascensore non aiuta di certo chi arriva con bagagli pesanti.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Close to the main transport hub, and good WiFi in my room too which was important. Not always quiet with the bin men coming round and just being off the main street but it was excellent for what I needed. Simply somewhere to sleep, shower, and go to the toilet

This property is in a renovated building. Noticeably it has no elevator; it is on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans) of the building. The room was cramped, there is no full time front desk, the manager was brusk, there is no restaurant within but there are some in the area, the WiFi inconsistent but free. However, it is literally just around the corner from the main Naples train station and was walking distance to the meeting points of the tour providers I used. Quite possibly it is more a hostel than a hotel although I did not see the amenities that would be present for such travelers. Pretty much convinced me that it is better to accept a higher rate to get the amenities I desire.

Very close to train and metro station and yet, very quiete at night. My room had a starry sky ceiling which was something nice before closing my eyes at night. Wifi should work better, connection was alway too weak.

Nice hotel nearbytrainstation, decent room size, friendly staff. Inconvenient cuz no elevator & we were on 2nd floor. They have kitchen which has refrigerator, microwave & electric kettle

The hotel is in a great location for easy access to public transit and restaurants. It was easy to get to. This is a very busy part of the city with homeless people outside the train/bus station. They did not cause any problems. There were restaurants, grocery stores and small stores within 1 block. I had a private room that was a one bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The water pressure and hot water were awesome. My room was cleaned daily and there were 4 towels, and a separate heat/ac unit that I had full control of. My room number 20, was right by the front door and reception desk. Unfortunately the walls were thin and the phone ringing and people talking outside felt like they were in my room. It made me paranoid they could hear me. There were multiple wifi links but they cutout around 9pm and were weak in the room. I stayed 3 nights and was happy to call it my home base.

hotel vicino alla stazione centrale situato al secondo piano senza ascensore. Camera spaziosa con bagno privato e ben arredata. Occorre migliorare l'isolamento dall'esterno perché il rumore è intenso specialmente per chi ha il sonno leggero e verso il mattino gli aerei in partenza e arrivo a Napoli sono numerosi. La cucina in comune è praticamente inutilizzabile. Inspiegabili problemi al ceck in per il mio amico visto che lo stesso documento in suo possesso era stato accettato la notte precedente presso un altro hotel ed era regolare come confermato dalla Polizia da cui il titolare ci ha chiesto di recarci.

Ottimo servizio, ottima accoglienza e soprattutto ambiente pulitissimo e profumato.

Hôtel très calme et propre situé près de la gare. Chambre fonctionnelle et literie de qualité. Personnel très gentil. Je recommande vivement.

The room and cleanliness were ok, but a few downsides were: the room smelled like cigarettes, the shower flooded a little bit, and the only toiletry provided was hand soap. The location is good, being less than a 5-minute walk far from the train/subway station, although the area can be really noisy and busy.

Chambre qui empestait le tabac alors qu'elle était annoncée comme non fumeur sur le site. Personnel peu agréable. Un sourire et un bonjour de temps en temps auraient été les bienvenus surtout lorsque la clientèle fait l'effort de parler la langue locale.

Great location just a few minutes from Naples Central Train station. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels daily, air-con, friendly staff and manager/owner provided mobile number for any emergencies. Only challenges were it’s quite noisy outside and couldn’t get shower real hot. For the price it’s a bargain however and I’d definitely stay again.

Stanza datata ma pulita..peccato per il bagnetto interno che non avendo aereazione ha il soffitto con muffa, quindi maleodorante. Mancava il bagnoschiuma ed il phon. È situato proprio vicino alla stazione centrale di Napoli, quindi servita. Ottimo per un fine settimana.

Bettdecke war schmutzig. Umgebung war sehr unsicher und schmutzig.

Struttura molto carina, così come la stanza che ci è stata assegnata, piccola ma accogliente, uniche due pecche: mancanza di campioni di shampoo e bagnoschiuma, il materasso era duro e i cuscini erano praticamente piatti.

Very convenient location. Staff friendly and helpful. Had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. Rppm was cleaned and fresh towels provided daily The stairs are a killer but I'm an overweight 50+ smoker. My only complaint was the bed was VERY firm, too firm for me personally. If you sleep on your side and have large hips, your hips will end up feeling bruised. After spending my days doing a lot of walking, it would have been better to have comfy bed and a decent nights sleep.7/10

The only problem is that we had hot water on the shower for the first 2 days. After day, it was always super cold water, like ice!!

Once you get to the actual hotel up the stairs it is clean and welcoming. The owner came to help check me in, he spoke english and was lovely and courteous. My room was clean, linens lovely and clean, my private bathroom same. I am Canadian so it is very different from what we are used to. The area outside is slightly intimidating but was fine. My only issue was other guests. I stayed May 28th I am sure if he checks his cctv he will find guests he won’t invite back. Fighting, banging very very loudly on outside door, smoking, all night literally until 4am in and out up and down hall. The walls are thin and I got very little rest and felt unsafe overnight. If there were staff onsite overnight it would have been reassuring. The owner did give me his what’s app number but I was not comfortable calling or complaining in middle of night.

A good basic hotel. In a busy area so noise could be heard, but not a big problem. Clean and comfortable, excellent value and very close to the station too. Room had air con and en suite bathroom. Didn’t use the breakfast offered at the hotel as so close to many outlets in the station! Would use again.

Buy decent pillows! I’ve never seen a smaller shower. Mattress wasn’t great. Lots of stairs to climb!!

Staff was very nice, good option for short stays, better than expected. Room was nice and clean, but the pillows should be replaced as they are very flat. Just the toilets need to be refurbished as the shower is quite uncomfortable: it is small and doesn’t have a handheld shower head, only a fixed one. This means that if you don’t want to wash your hair, you still end up getting it wet. The location is excellent, 1 min walk from Train station.

The bathroom and room were clean and pleasant. The bed was uncomfortable. The location was ideal as it was close to Napoli Garibaldi station (5 min walk).

My stay at Hotel Ginevra was mixed. The hotel is well-located, making it convenient to explore the area, and the room was clean. However, the building itself is quite old, which gives it a somewhat rundown feel. Communication was a challenge as the staff did not speak English, making it difficult to resolve issues during the stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not functional, and the mattress and pillows were the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. While the location is a plus, the outdated facilities and lack of comfort left much to be desired.

Il soggiorno è stato buono, perché non c'erano molte stanze occupate accanto a me. Altrimenti le stanze sono molto vicine e puoi sentire tutto. L'uomo del turno mattutino ha avuto un atteggiamento terribile nei confronti del mio check-in e check-out. La posizione è molto buona e la pizzeria all'angolo è un successo.

La struttura è posta al secondo piano di un edificio senza ascensore,e di questo non ho trovato alcun avviso ne in Expedia ne su altri siti che trattavano dell' albergo stesso. Avevo una valigia molto pesante poiché la notte a Napoli era per me un passaggio per il successivo traghetto per la Sardegna che ho preso il giorno dopo.A seguito sia di un colloquio al citofono che al telefono ho chiesto.all' operatore in turno in quel momento di aiutarmi a trasportare la valigia ma lui si è rifiutato categoricamente dicendo che erano affari miei se avevo una valigia troppo pesante( la poteva fare più leggera,cito le sue testuali parole,) e che se volevo la stanza ( che avevo peraltro già pagato) dovevo salire per conto mio ( peraltro ho un peso piuttosto consistente e sono in cura per pressione alta) Ho avuto l' ausilio di due signore che,accortesi che la mia situazione era piuttosto.seria,mi hanno tenuto compagnia e hanno sollecitato più volte al telefono ( come ho sollecitato.anch' io) le forze dell' ordine attraverso il 113 a venire a risolvere questa situazione. Le forze dell' ordine sono finalmente venute dopo circa un' ora e mezza dalla chiamata e mi hanno gentilmente aiutato a trasportare la valigia.Se non ci fosse stato l' ausilio di queste due signore che mi hanno supportato anche moralmente per tutto il tempo fino all arrivo della polizia e se non ci fosse stato l' intervento della polizia temo che l' evento avrebbe preso pieghe drammatiche

Área proxima à estação garibaldi, e a uma distancia razoavel do aeroporto. Da para ir a pé para a estação e de lá fica facil ir a qualquer lugar. Alem disso tem varias lojinhas e restaurantes próximos. Rua barulhenta em razão do tráfego, que é intenso. Mas à noite fica bem silenciosa. A equipe é incrível, extremamente atenciosos e sempre disponíveis. As acomodações tambem sao boas e confortáveis. Foi uma otima estadia.

Hotel near of the Stazion of Napoli centrale. Very practice if we need to take train often.

Very close to the central station. The location is great and within walkable distance to all the tourists attractions. The room was average size. It is clean but looks a bit tired. However, given the price is great for a night with bathroom, I have no complain

Just about the best value for the money I’ve seen! The room and hotel were great! The location right by the train station and next to the supermarket was very convenient. It didn’t feel any less safe than anywhere else in the city and the nights were quieter than I expected from some other reviews

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Pulito, personale gentile e disponobile. Centrale rispetto a tutti i mezzi di trasporto, sia in superficie che altro. Ampia scelta di ristoranti tutti ottimi. Ci tornerò.

La zona no es la más bonita ni la más recomendable pero nosotros estuvimos muy cómodos, y fue una buena estancia. La ubicación es muy buena al estar Justo al lado de la estación de tren y metro.
