We walked from the train station to this hotel, which was about a mile, over cobbled streets surrounded by old buildings and it was very easy to find. It is an older hotel with simple styling and a local, homely feel. We had a little confusion at check in but that was quickly sorted. There are a few steps to lift luggage up to access the elevator to rooms. Fine for us but might prove an issue for less mobile guests. Breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and cakes as well as tea and fresh coffee. The big plus for this hotel is its very central location, you are literally straight on to the old cobbled streets and very close to shops, the piazza del popolo with its clock tower and lots of historic buildings. There are plenty of places to eat within a short walk from the hotel and the staff made recommendations, which we tried and had a lovely meal. We were there for two nights and there was plenty to see and do in Ravenna.

Hotel situato in pieno centro, a due passi dalla piazza principale e dalla zona pedonale con ristoranti e negozi.La stazione ferroviaria e' raggiungibile a piedi con una passeggiata di circa 10 minuti.Purtroppo la struttura e' molto datata.La stanza assegnataci era molto triste con mobili vecchi,il bagno con una vecchia vasca rovinata.Per fortuna ho soggiornato solo per una notte.La colazione e' essenziale.Il personale e' stato gentile.

Solo sino tienes otra opción. La propiedad le urge, urge una renovación. La tele es pequeña, el elevador está completamente desactualizado, las camas se observan sumamente desgastadas, ni hablar de los colchones. En general no es un buen hotel. Sin embargo, está en el centro de Ravena, lleno de locales comerciales y restaurantes. En lo personal no volvería a este hotel.

There is nothing to dislike about staying here. Great facilities and a wide selection for breakfast at the Hotel. Staff very helpful with local information. Buses are nearby and will get you to the Station, Beach and other Historical Sites.

We arrived late and the front desk seemed annoyed. They barely looked up from their computer and didn’t seem to have an interest in answering our questions. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last people left. There was hair in the shower and a thick layer of dust on lamps and fixtures.The mirror in the bathroom also looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The bed was basically a piece of cardboard. The front desk the next day was incredibly kind and helpful and even held our luggage for us while we went out for the morning. The location is very central and steps away from shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately, it was very dirty.

Excellent location, very close to train. However rooms did not seem to have working AC and rust from the units fell over the beds. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Opened windows to get fresh air and snoring from other rooms was very loud. Could also hear every toilet flush from other rooms.

The location is very close to most major tourist sites. The rooms are clean. The staff are extremely helpful and good. The only problem is that the bathrooms are extremely small, and it was very difficult to use the shower. The shower head was not adjustable, and set at a lower position, making it difficult to take a shower. Moving around in the shower stall was difficult. Also, the AC did not work well and did not cool the room enough. Other space limitations were manageable.

A nice area with lots of dining choices. Breakfast was good with great coffee. The air conditioning didn't really cool the room, but able to open window for fresh air..a little street noise but not a problem. The funky oart wad was the shower, seemed like awkward to step in safley..and no anti slip mat.

Right In the middle of Ravenna’s old town. Very welcoming and nice older lady in the reception. The room is modern, and logically laid out. Very clean, good bed. And of course with wooden blinds AND blackout curtains you achieve complete darkness for sleeping. Some noise from the crowd outside, but closing the window helps.

Loved that it incredibly central to the museums, shops transportation and restaurants . As a female solo traveller first time in Ravenna I felt incredibly safe with the 24/7 front desk staff. Whoever was on the desk were incredibly helpful and always with complete sincererity. The breakfast was varied and delicious items toped up regularly. The wait staff also very friendly and eager to assist. I would give them 20 stars out of 10!

L'Hotel è ubicato accanto alla piazza storica e principale di Ravenna, a dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e a cinque minuti dai principali monumenti artistici (la basilica di S. Vitale, il Mausoleo di Galla Placidia, il Museo Nazionale, il Duomo, il Battistero degli Ortodossi, il Battistero degli Ariani, la chiesa di San Francesco, la tomba di Dante). Nei dintorni dell'hotel ci sono tanti ristoranti tipici. La struttura è pulita. La camera e l'ampio bagno sono puliti e confortevoli (la camera viene ordinata quotidianamente). Lo staff della receptionist è simpatico e accogliente. Consigliato a chi vuole godersi Ravenna stando in centro.

L'Hotel è ubicato accanto alla piazza storica e principale di Ravenna, a dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e a cinque minuti dai principali monumenti artistici (la basilica di S. Vitale, il Mausoleo di Galla Placidia, il Museo Nazionale, il Duomo, il Battistero degli Ortodossi, il Battistero degli Ariani, la chiesa di San Francesco, la tomba di Dante). Nei dintorni dell'hotel ci sono tanti ristoranti tipici. La struttura è pulita. La camera e l'ampio bagno sono puliti e confortevoli (la camera viene ordinata quotidianamente). Lo staff della receptionist è simpatico e accogliente. Consigliato a chi vuole godersi Ravenna stando in centro.

Loved that it incredibly central to the museums, shops transportation and restaurants . As a female solo traveller first time in Ravenna I felt incredibly safe with the 24/7 front desk staff. Whoever was on the desk were incredibly helpful and always with complete sincererity. The breakfast was varied and delicious items toped up regularly. The wait staff also very friendly and eager to assist. I would give them 20 stars out of 10!

Great hotel and staff. Checkin was a breeze. AC was noisy and didn’t work well. Breakfast was a fantastic option, however, the menu noted meats, which were not offered.

Welcoming, Reception were very helpful . Beds comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and varied with as you would expect in Italy, good coffee! The location of the hotel is great. Just off the main square with a variety of shops and restaurants.Highly recommended at a reasonable price.

The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, great location. Breakfast is good. However, the ventilation is not there, very warm in the room. We had to open the window to get some ventilation.

Emplacement parfait au cœur historique de la ville, et à 10 minutes à pied de la gare. Le personnel très accueillant et très sympa, alors que demander de plus ? Un petit déjeuner avec plus de produits frais et moins industriel. Mais bon globalement très bon rapport qualité prix.

We booked to stay here the night before joining our cruise. The location and reviews looked fantastic, we just wanted somewhere reasonable to lay our heads after travelling from elsewhere in Italy. The location is great, right in the centre of town! Ravenna is lovely, lots of cute bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Pre warning though, it’s no where near the port (my fault lack of research) and taxis are very limited. You need to prebook a taxi or transfer if you intend to meet a ship. Cruise days in Ravenna are busy. The hotel is pretty tired looking but I wasn’t expecting a 5* so would have been more than happy. What I wasn’t prepared for was the absolute stench in our room! I requested a non smoking room, I was told it’s a completely non smoking hotel anyway but when I opened the bedroom door I was horrified by the overwhelming smell of cigarettes. It was literally like someone had just lit up a full pack! We waited a while, I thought maybe another guest had been smoking in their room but the smell just didn’t lift. I don’t even know where it was coming from other than the large faux leather type headboard and walls stank of it. I went down to Reception and explained, I had a little girl with me and the smell was very strong. She said the hotel was full so nothing she could do and packed me off with a can of air freshener that she told me was good for smoke smells. It wasn’t good for smoke smells! It was disgusting and constant. No one came to actually smell it!
