From a convenience perspective, this was a great hotel. The beach and lidos were mere steps away and lots of dining options around. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I loved the fact it was available until 12noon. The reception staff was very friendly. The entrance wasn't easy to find, but it was nice to have free parking. The only drawback was the lack of power outlets in the room: there was only 1 outlet in the main sleeping area which isn't great when you're trying to plug your personal and medical devices overnight.

I hardly ever write reviews but I really feel that all the staff of this hotel needs a shout out. They were the kindest and nicest and more than happy to help all the time. From the front desk to the (amazing) breakfast lady to the cleaning lady. Hotel has parking (and trust me you need it) and the balcony with a view was great too. Great location as well.

Das Hotel Polo hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Die Einrichtung ist leider schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt insgesamt alt und unmodern. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber eher durchschnittlich – nichts Besonderes, aber auch nicht unhöflich. Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, ohne größere Beanstandungen. Das Frühstück entspricht eher einem Mittelmaß, daher würde ich es mit 3 von 5 Sternen bewerten. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich das sichere Parken direkt am Hotel sowie die sehr zentrale Lage, die für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ideal ist.

Pulizia migliorabile. Peli trovati in doccia e nel lavandino. Struttura vecchia. Le camere necessitano di rinnovo. Mobili vecchi e tendaggi anni 80. Struttura comunque imponente con ottimi servizi. L’acustica non è delle migliori. Da una camera all’altra si sente la gente che parla al telefono anche con un tono di voce non alto.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Polo and were quite disappointed. Pot luck meant we had a room that had not been renovated which meant incredibly tired decor, a bathroom sink that leaked and poor socket placement. The real kicker was that although an air con dial was in the room, when we rang reception about it being broken we were first told it couldn’t be fixed then told they didn’t have it on in May as it wasn’t hot enough. Whilst that may the opinion of locals, when you’re catering to tourists you need to be prepared to cater to their wants also. This led to some incredibly stuffy nights in the hotel. Breakfast was adequate - what you’d expect from an Italian hotel. Location was probably the best thing but caution the fact that entrance was up a steep set of stairs and no visible ramp option if you have a pram or wheelchair.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, close to restaurants and beach. Breakfast was very good. The room, however, was quite dated. It could be improved with nicer, more modern decor and softer pillows.

L' ho scelto perché era fra quelli in offerta tra gli hotel 4* in ottima posizione e, devo dire che la camera, al terzo piano, era perfetta. Ampia, pulita, ristrutturata da poco, bel bagno. L' altra coppia, che ha prenotato direttamente, è stata sistemata al secondo piano e la camera andava ancora ristrutturata. Ma il mattino dopo alla colazione, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla quantità e qualità della prima colazione: mai vista una colazione tanto varia e così buona. Da non perdere. Sono stata in tanti hotel nella mia vita, ho 60 anni ed ho viaggiato molto e spesso in 4 e 5 * L' hotel Polo, anzi, la colazione dell' hotel POLO merita i complimenti. Bravi Ritornando in zona non avrò dubbi ed anche se qualcuno mi chiedesse consiglio: hotel Polo 100% Mi ha preso per la gola 😂😂😂🌹

Even if they had some issues due to a recent incident, the staff overdid themselves to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect, and close to the beach and just a short beautiful walk to downtown. And they still serve a 5 star breakfast spread!

We had a wonderful 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, close to restaurants and beach. Breakfast was very good. The room, however, was quite dated. It could be improved with nicer, more modern decor and softer pillows.

Albergo situato in ottima posizione a due passi da tutto top...... I hardly ever write reviews but I really feel that all the staff of this hotel needs a shout out. They were the kindest and nicest and more than happy to help all the time. From the front desk to the (amazing) breakfast lady to the cleaning lady. Hotel has parking (and trust me you need it) and the balcony with a view was great too. Great location as well.

From a convenience perspective, this was a great hotel. The beach and lidos were mere steps away and lots of dining options around. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I loved the fact it was available until 12noon. The reception staff was very friendly. The entrance wasn't easy to find, but it was nice to have free parking. The only drawback was the lack of power outlets in the room: there was only 1 outlet in the main sleeping area which isn't great when you're trying to plug your personal and medical devices overnight.

Even if they had some issues due to a recent incident, the staff overdid themselves to make our stay comfortable. The location is perfect, and close to the beach and just a short beautiful walk to downtown. And they still serve a 5 star breakfast spread!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Polo and were quite disappointed. Pot luck meant we had a room that had not been renovated which meant incredibly tired decor, a bathroom sink that leaked and poor socket placement. The real kicker was that although an air con dial was in the room, when we rang reception about it being broken we were first told it couldn’t be fixed then told they didn’t have it on in May as it wasn’t hot enough. Whilst that may the opinion of locals, when you’re catering to tourists you need to be prepared to cater to their wants also. This led to some incredibly stuffy nights in the hotel. Breakfast was adequate - what you’d expect from an Italian hotel. Location was probably the best thing but caution the fact that entrance was up a steep set of stairs and no visible ramp option if you have a pram or wheelchair.

Bestilte luksus Suite. Litt skuffende egentlig. Ingen balkong (selv om stort sett alle de andre rommene uansett prisklasse hadde det) Dårlig aircondition som ikke klarte å kjøle rommet tilstrekkelig. Bra renhold. Mye søtsaker til frokost, noe som ikke er så vanlig for en skandinaver. Fin parkering i bakgården
