We were 4 families ages 6 months to 71 years. Grandparents stayed in 1st floor Master. Beautiful room, small bathroom, very soft bed but we were fine. Upstairs master was beautiful ; had its own air conditioning as did the 1st floor master. Other bedrooms were very warm as there’s no air in them. Table fans in those rooms would have been a good idea. Bunk beds were very squeaky so only the bottom was used. The other bunk bed top bunk was much too close to the ceiling so couldn’t use that either. Luckily we had a few people that didn’t stay the whole week or we wouldn’t have had enough beds. Kitchen and living area are beautiful. Plenty of seating for meals and watching tv. One of the families stayed in the carriage house. The king bed was so hard that my son had to sleep on the couch. Kitchen was in need of plates and glasses. It could also use a table and chairs for small children to eat breakfast. They all managed other than those items. We all ate together in the main house or outside on the awesome table and chairs. We spent most of our time outside on the dock and the shaded yard. The tree house was a big hit for the 7 year old. We brought our ski boat which docked beautifully on the boat lift. The house is located very close to Walmart and Wegmans. The best part was spending a whole week with the family in a fantastic setting.

We had a lovely stay. The property easily accommodated the 13 members of my family. We used the gas grill and ate several meals at the large outdoor table. The well furnished kitchen made meal prep easy with plenty of seats for dining. The location was great - stores and restaurants just minutes away. We also made great use of the kayaks and floaties and outdoor firepit watching the sun set in the western sky.

We had a wonderful time! The house was well equipped in the kitchen and living areas, and the carriage house was awesome! The layout of the main floor was great for meeting space and the outdoor area was awesome. It was great having a couple kayaks and grilling space.

We love this home. This is our second stay here. Water access is easy and love the fire pit with chairs in the mornings. Close to grocery stores and shopping and breweries.

This house (2 houses with a carriage house) is spacious and can fit a lot of people. It is a level lakefront but has very close neighbors (very quiet though). It has a nice location close to Wegmans, CMAC, and a great road for walks and runs. It also has a nice dock with steps and boat lifts. The pantry/laundry is huge with great storage, and there’s an extra outdoor fridge in the very nice outdoor kitchen. I do think all the bathrooms need renovation, which was not easily noticed from the pictures.

A great location to all amenities. The carriage house was really nice & well equipped. We had issues with the ice maker as it did not work we needed to purchase ice quite often. The wine refrigerator also did not cool down. The dishwasher in kitchen washou very difficult to get it to work. There were some lights out in various areas of house. I would have expected things to be in better condition especially for price of rental. Overall, it was a great location - lots of room in main house, kids enjoyed the tree house, dock with boat lift was awesome. Lori and Jim were gracious and very helpful.

Location close to town and view on the lake were amazing. Our family was here for a wedding. House was very comfortable, spacious, with many bathrooms and right on the lake with a great dock. Our host Lori responded quickly to any questions we had to make sure we had a great stay. Plenty of parking and outdoor patio with outdoor kitchen facing the lake was perfect for our group. Even an outdoor fire pit for making s'mores. Kids loved the swing and treehouse….as well as the secret Harry Potter room. Thanks Lori for making this such a great memory.

Really nice spot and I thought it was a solid value. We saw some other, incredible houses on Canandaigua lake we wanted to book, everything looked perfect but when we saw the total price at check out, we said no way; way overpriced. But we found THIS place had it all: Enough room, nice interior, great view, nice outdoor space with a dock to park a boat, AND a fair price! Therefore, we will save this spot to check first for another rental.

The house is even better than the description and I’ve never seen a rental this clean! Tons of space for the kids to play and stay busy while the parents relax and enjoy the gorgeous view. Our stay was a treat and we hope to be back every year!

A beautiful home right on the water. The location is great, only a couple minutes from town. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean, comfortable and well supplied. Morgan was our contact and readily available for any questions we had. We loved the space inside and outdoors and hope to be back next summer!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. You were so thoughtful to include an Easter basket of goodies for the kids and bottle of wine for the adults! They had a blast with the activities included in the basket after winding down from a day of kayaking in the gorgeous lake. Your home was so clean, with a well supplied kitchen. We all thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of the spacious rooms, many bathrooms, so much that the kids are already asking to come back next year. You were so quick to respond to our texts and questions and provided everything we need for an amazing vacation. Thank you for lovely stay.

The house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed being lakefront with our own dock. The kids were able to take their paddle boards out easily and the water was very clear and on the shallower end, which was nice. Beautiful sunsets.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The property was a great location being only a few minutes from town. The grocery store was right there as well as numerous restaurants. The house was clean and had more than enough space for our group. The property manager was available for any questions and made us feel right at home. We can’t wait for our next visit!

The cold weather didn't detract from our family's having a wonderful Thanksgiving at Sandy Beach Haven. The place was clean, cozy and conveniently located. Ten of us ate, played games, watched some TV while sitting by a warm fire and looking out at the beautiful lake. Hosts were very responsive to our needs.

What makes this place spectacular is the layout and design of the home. There are plenty of special places to sit and get cozy. The planned spaces accommodate both private and communal activities. The beautiful water view and fireplace grace the large living room, kitchen, and dining room, as well as some bedrooms. The house is tastefully decorated and looks like the photos. You will not be disappointed.

We had a weekend family reunion with 13 people staying over. Sandy Beach was as promised, we did bring a blow up bed for a child which fit perfectly in the downstairs bedroom. There were 2very large bedrooms in the main house plus 3 more bedrooms and 2 in the carriage house. I was hoping for more dishes, but we supplemented with paper plates. Lori and her husband were very helpful! Entry and exit were very easy.. we all loved our stay, no complaints whatsoever!

A beautiful home right on the water. The location is great, only a couple minutes from town. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean, comfortable and well supplied. Morgan was our contact and readily available for any questions we had. We loved the space inside and outdoors and hope to be back next summer!

Lori and Jim were delightful & went above and beyond the call of duty to care for their guests. They were kind & thoughtful and easy to work with. Lori traveled a long distance to return a charger left behind. Lori and Jim provided excellent hospitality. I polled our group of nearly 15 for feedback that may help you with future guests: 1) the beds are very soft and all members of our group indicated they were too soft, which resulted in back aches in the morning. 2) the ceiling fan in the master bedroom on the first floor is noisy and wobbly 3) the dishwasher needs to be secured to the cabinet better-the housing is not secured to the cabinetry. 4) refrigerator water through the door is a trickle and does not operate properly. 5) the steps leading into lake on the dock( close to the kayaks), are extremely slippery. The suggestion would be that they are scrubbed prior to guest arrival as one of our housemates slipped, they were not hurt, but it’s something you may want to take a into consideration for future guests. they did fall into the lake as a result of the slippery bottom stairs. 6) by the entry there is a safety concern, as there is no hand rails, and you can fall off the deck ( on the short return, there is no railing or handrail) 7) even though we follow TV instructions we could not get the TVs in the master bedroom on the first floor, nor the large room upstairs to work to get basic channels, such as CNN. 8) lighting is too dim

Family traveled from all over the East Coast to attend a college graduation ceremony. The house was a perfect location to gather, have meals, hangout. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I have come across. The Host was very attentive and even had a card for the graduate. She was very responsive, kind and generous. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We had an amazing stay here. The house is just as described and perfect for our large family. Clean, quiet and close to stores, restaurants and the park. It was well stocked with amenities and even a bottle of welcome wine. The property managers are very friendly and helpful with recommendations for the area. We were unlucky with the weather but having a nice well maintained house to get comfortable in was great!

The host and the property manager were so kind and generous to accommodate us a day earlier due to the snow storm. The checkin and checkout process was very smooth. The house was exactly what we needed for our get together for a party of 15. We stayed for 10 days and we had everything that we needed in the house. The host was very responsive and kept in touch through out the stay. We would definitely recommend the lake house to friends to enjoy the ambience of the house and around it. We stayed while attending our niece’s graduation from Rochester Institute of Technology. While we were 40 minutes from campus, this place was perfect given it was also a gathering of our whole immediate family. Lori and Jim the property managers were very helpful leading up to our stay. We really wanted to rent a pontoon boat for one if the days but all the websites indicated rentals didn’t start until Memorial Day weekend. They provided us with contact information at a particular marina and we were good to go! Lori also spoke with me ahead of arrival and provided lots of details about the house, its amenities and the local area. They even met us to walk through the house when we checked in. The sunsets are incredible!!!!!! We had a fabulous time!

Sandy Beach Haven was the perfect weekend retreat. Snow in the air, two fireplaces to keep the house warm, and tons of windows overlooking the lake made for the perfect weekend to cook, to eat, to read, and to relax and be with family. The property manager was always available by phone or text - helpful, but never intrusive.

Location close to town and view on the lake were amazing. Our family was here for a wedding. House was very comfortable, spacious, with many bathrooms and right on the lake with a great dock. Our host Lori responded quickly to any questions we had to make sure we had a great stay. Plenty of parking and outdoor patio with outdoor kitchen facing the lake was perfect for our group. Even an outdoor fire pit for making s'mores. Kids loved the swing and treehouse….as well as the secret Harry Potter room. Thanks Lori for making this such a great memory.

We had a lovely stay. The property easily accommodated the 13 members of my family. We used the gas grill and ate several meals at the large outdoor table. The well furnished kitchen made meal prep easy with plenty of seats for dining. The location was great - stores and restaurants just minutes away. We also made great use of the kayaks and floaties and outdoor firepit watching the sun set in the western sky.

This house (2 houses with a carriage house) is spacious and can fit a lot of people. It is a level lakefront but has very close neighbors (very quiet though). It has a nice location close to Wegmans, CMAC, and a great road for walks and runs. It also has a nice dock with steps and boat lifts. The pantry/laundry is huge with great storage, and there’s an extra outdoor fridge in the very nice outdoor kitchen. I do think all the bathrooms need renovation, which was not easily noticed from the pictures.

We were 4 families ages 6 months to 71 years. Grandparents stayed in 1st floor Master. Beautiful room, small bathroom, very soft bed but we were fine. Upstairs master was beautiful ; had its own air conditioning as did the 1st floor master. Other bedrooms were very warm as there’s no air in them. Table fans in those rooms would have been a good idea. Bunk beds were very squeaky so only the bottom was used. The other bunk bed top bunk was much too close to the ceiling so couldn’t use that either. Luckily we had a few people that didn’t stay the whole week or we wouldn’t have had enough beds. Kitchen and living area are beautiful. Plenty of seating for meals and watching tv. One of the families stayed in the carriage house. The king bed was so hard that my son had to sleep on the couch. Kitchen was in need of plates and glasses. It could also use a table and chairs for small children to eat breakfast. They all managed other than those items. We all ate together in the main house or outside on the awesome table and chairs. We spent most of our time outside on the dock and the shaded yard. The tree house was a big hit for the 7 year old. We brought our ski boat which docked beautifully on the boat lift. The house is located very close to Walmart and Wegmans. The best part was spending a whole week with the family in a fantastic setting.

We had a wonderful time! The house was well equipped in the kitchen and living areas, and the carriage house was awesome! The layout of the main floor was great for meeting space and the outdoor area was awesome. It was great having a couple kayaks and grilling space.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. You were so thoughtful to include an Easter basket of goodies for the kids and bottle of wine for the adults! They had a blast with the activities included in the basket after winding down from a day of kayaking in the gorgeous lake. Your home was so clean, with a well supplied kitchen. We all thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of the spacious rooms, many bathrooms, so much that the kids are already asking to come back next year. You were so quick to respond to our texts and questions and provided everything we need for an amazing vacation. Thank you for lovely stay.

This home was exactly as represented. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped with virtually every piece of kitchen you might need, large screen televisions in every room, a beautiful dock and outdoor eating and cooking area. Laurie and Jim, the property managers, live next door and are available to answer any questions.

Amazing stay! Each room was clean, well equipped with everything we needed, from the 2 kitchens, the ease of checkin, responsive hosts, and the house was gorgeous! With a large dock, kayaks, a boat lift for overnight storage. Plenty of parking! Clean and super nice. It was perfect for our family reunion!

A great location to all amenities. The carriage house was really nice & well equipped. We had issues with the ice maker as it did not work we needed to purchase ice quite often. The wine refrigerator also did not cool down. The dishwasher in kitchen washou very difficult to get it to work. There were some lights out in various areas of house. I would have expected things to be in better condition especially for price of rental. Overall, it was a great location - lots of room in main house, kids enjoyed the tree house, dock with boat lift was awesome. Lori and Jim were gracious and very helpful.

The property was great for a big family event, with lots of places to collect in both large and small groups, inside and outside. The property is extremely well-provisioned; it had everything we needed. Beautiful to watch sunsets across the lake from the front yard and dock. Highly recommended

This house has great views of the lake, which we enjoyed. The spaces worked well for our family of 12. Places for kids and adults. The kitchen was well equiped. Everything was provided, such as dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap, kleenex. You get the idea. The upstairs bedrooms were cold, it was Christmas.We solved that with the extra blankets we found around. This house was not only convienent to the lake, with direct acess, there were many things available in town that we used. I recommend this house, it was a great place for our family gathering.

What makes this place spectacular is the layout and design of the home. There are plenty of special places to sit and get cozy. The planned spaces accommodate both private and communal activities. The beautiful water view and fireplace grace the large living room, kitchen, and dining room, as well as some bedrooms. The house is tastefully decorated and looks like the photos. You will not be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay. The property easily accommodated the 13 members of my family. We used the gas grill and ate several meals at the large outdoor table. The well furnished kitchen made meal prep easy with plenty of seats for dining. The location was great - stores and restaurants just minutes away. We also made great use of the kayaks and floaties and outdoor firepit watching the sun set in the western sky.
