The hotel is very clean, the breakfast was excellent, and several staff were genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the shower leaked badly and left water all over the floor each time it was used, housekeeping entered our room despite us asking for a few minutes to finish changing (and they ignored that request which was awkward), and the pool was always overcrowded with unused “reserved” (by towels) chairs that left us standing. For $500 a night, the lack of comfort and poor pool management kept the experience from living up to Hilton standards

Some of the Front desk staff did not understand the concept of customer service, most were awesome. Building is beautiful. I cannot understand why a five star hotel would close their pool at 6 PM with 90° weather. Unbelievable. The restaurant in the hotel wasn't very busy, but the food was terrific. Waitstaff in the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating, but just not well-trained for a high-end restaurant

Booked this hotel through Expedia as the website stated it had a nice rooftop bar and restaurants. PLEASE NOTE THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OPEN ITS ROOFTOP BAR OR RESTAURANT UNTIL MID APRIL at the earliest. EXPEDIA GOT IT WRONG! Booked this hotel for 6 April for 4 nights. Went to go to the rooftop bar as it was hot weather, and we were told it was closed. When asked why, they said the manager just hadn't decided to open it yet , maybe they will next week!? When I asked where the restaurant was, I was told bluntly that the restaurant is linked to the rooftop bar, so that was also closed. Please not this hotel has awful facilities outside of peak summer. We would not recommend. Instead we spend our money in all the other hotels and bars in Rome which were all open for the Easter holidays and lovely weather. Luckily there were quite a few within walking distance. I was gutted to have wasted my money on the only hotel in Rome, which hasn't bothered to open it's facilities. Staff didn't care. They spent most of their time huddled around reception giggling together, not caring at all about guests that walked in the door. Don't waste your money, much nicer hotels in Rome.

Great hotel, very convenient and lovely breakfast. Staff were super helpful and gave us a free upgrade and late check out. Spa was lovely but a bit steep at 50 EUR each to use the facilities each time.

Although everything was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful, we were disappointed that there was no indoor pool for kids (there is indoor one in the spa but only for adults and you pay 50 Euros/day). Our main reason of booking at that hotel was that our 20 months old kid to enjoy the pool and their website said there is an indoor pool while there was not.

We chose this hotel because my family wanted a pool. It turned out to be a good decision because it was about 100 degrees every day we were in Rome. The people who work there are very helpful and friendly and they all speak English. The hotel has some general service quirks. There's a bar in the lobby but in 4 days I never actually saw someone working at it. There's a cigar/whiskey lounge off the lobby but the one time I tried to get a whiskey they called a guy over to help and he said the whiskey was up on the roof at the pool bar and he'd have to go check what they had in stock or something like that. It seemed like a big hassle (European service is almost universally slow and definitely noticeably slower than anything in the US even at its best) so I said to forget it.

This was a fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were very attentive and nice. The only thing I would say is if there was a way they could open the pool for more hours in the day would be fantastic!

A great place to stay in Rome - it’s walking distance to the Spanish steps and fountain of Trevi. One minor complain is the pool is very small. We had checked in so the kids can go swimming, but instead we just ended up sitting in the water.

Decent location however all major attractions / neighborhoods were a 15-20 min walk. Lobby area was beautiful, had 2 remind front desk twice I needed a cab to airport, gym was a 5 out of 10, didn’t get to roof garden as it was closed due to weather & our room was tiny/over priced for what we paid. I would not pay that much to stay there for 2 nights. I was expecting a lot more.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my lifetime... mostly 4 or 5 star hotels. The service at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. From the front desk to the concierge - they go above and beyond. The hotel is located in a great area and is a 15 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. Also - all the attractions are close by. The rooms are modern and well kept. You will not be disappointed.

Terrific location and good service. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, helpful concierge. Breakfast was good. Rooftop pool looked like it would be great in the summer. Had an issue with the air conditioner that even after being repaired by a technician was quite anemic -- would not bode well for the summer. Lobby had strong unpleasant smell. Strange ticking sounds occurred intermittently that sounded uncannily like light knocking, which made us check the door many times. (This happened in both rooms my family stayed in.) Despite some shortcomings, would still recommend.

Almost everything was great. Upon check in, the staff welcomed us and took care of everything. They walked us to our room and explained the various perks of the room. The room was comfortable; however, it was facing an alley where trash was stored. It seemed every night from 2130-0100 the trash was being collected...very loud and made it hard to sleep during those hours. The breakfast buffet was great with a vast variety of food items. One of our days eating breakfast the scrambled eggs were extremely soupy and no one was eating them. Other than that still a great experience. Room service was fantastic! We ordered the pasta Bolognese(tasty), lasagna(not bad) and chicken/fries(great), hamburger/fries (good). I appreciate the care the staff took to make us comfortable and feel well served.

The hotel is showing it's age now and is overpriced for what the rooms and facilities provide. We had a terrible room for our first night, the staff did all they could to provide a different room in the fully booked hotel and moved us to one of their suits. This was a nice room but again showing signs of age and no longer top luxury. Loud minibar fridge for example, old and large telephones taking most of the bedside table space. The breakfast is mediocre at best. Nice staff, aging rooms.

Our junior suite was so comfortable and we slept so well in the bed after traveling from America. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and last but not least-The Aleph rooftop pool was so beautiful and relaxing after long days of exploring. We will always dream of having an Aperol Spritz on that rooftop! Can't wait to visit again.
Our junior suite was so comfortable and we slept so well in the bed after traveling from America. The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and last but not least-The Aleph rooftop pool was so beautiful and relaxing after long days of exploring. We will always dream of having an Aperol Spritz on that rooftop! Can't wait to visit again.

It's a nice hotel without zero to one bar wifi signal. Wifi outside the hotel is stronger than our room. I asked them to solve the issue three times and one of their staff told me to pay to have better wifi while there wasn't any wifi signal to begin with. They never solved the wifi issue

Amazing stay at Aleph Rome hotel! We were on our honeymoon and the hotel surprised us with fruits and a cake and a letter. Amira was the go-to in everything we need. She helped us in all our requests and needs and was the best concierge we ever had in any hotel! She made us feel like we were at home. She gave recommendations on restaurants and coffee shops and helped us navigate any issues. Also Muhammad was very helpful and accommodating in all our needs and was very nice! Wonderful stay thanks to Amira and Muhammad, and we will choose this hotel again.

Due to the high temperatures in Rome, we decided to remain along the coast (Sorrento) for a few more days, and spend just 1 night in Rome before returning home. That said, we spent the entire 1-night stay at this luxury hotel. The service was great, from the bellman Mohammed, and Stefano(?) in reception, to the fine service we received from Alessandro (?) who served us in the lobby bar and the rooftop restaurant for dinner. Everything was top-notch. Oh, can’t forget to mention the very comfy bed in our lovely room. Thank you Aleph Rome Hotel. Arrivederci

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean. The staff is attentive. But the managers are rude and lack empathy. We are a family of 4 and I got 2 separate rooms. There was no information on the hotela.com website that there was an additional fee for the pool or spa... When my son wanted to use the pool, they told me that we had to pay an additional fee. When I talked to their manager, they told me that I had to pay for the pool. I showed them the hotels.com website page. When he saw this, he said he could give me a 50% discount. He acted as if my main concern was to get a discount. I would not respond to this pathetic lack of empathy and would leave the hotel after my stay. If we ignore the manager's attitude, the hotel is nice.

The Hotel is beautiful! The Staff were ALL incredible! They made me feel welcome and at home in Rome. The Narducci Spa was definitely a wonderful experience. Rooftop lounge is a relaxing place to hang out and have an aperitivo and appetizer. Again, I cannot say enough about the hardworking staff who were so attentive and fun. I will never forget my experience or The Aleph Hotel! AMORE'!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was our second time at this hotel and the service was excellent. The hospitality of the staff was excellent from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping and upstairs bar. Definitely recommend and would return. The hotel is in the center of everything and close to the US embassy if that matters to you. There is a Catholic Church walking distance away with mass in English.

At check-in they provided free drinks while we waited for our rooms to be ready. David upgraded my room which was also super nice. The location is great, 12 min walk to the gardens and 10 min to the Spanish Steps. Overall really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely be a returning customer.

This is where you want to be! We have visited Rome a few times and this place has it all! I will start with the Amazing pool, amazing breakfast, the best staff, and super clean! The Turn down service is lovely and anything you can think of, they help you with! If you want to be in the middle of Rome with a 15 minute walk to everything, this is where you want to be. The pool at the end of the day makes summer in Rome AMAZING!

This hotel is perfect if you want to visit Rome's major sites as it is a short walk from Barberini metro station, and a 10-minute walk from the Trevi fountain. The rooftop pool was perfect for a bit of relaxation after a day in the city. Staff are fantastic, and tended to our every need. The hotel is stunning, breakfast very good.

Decent location however all major attractions / neighborhoods were a 15-20 min walk. Lobby area was beautiful, had 2 remind front desk twice I needed a cab to airport, gym was a 5 out of 10, didn’t get to roof garden as it was closed due to weather & our room was tiny/over priced for what we paid. I would not pay that much to stay there for 2 nights. I was expecting a lot more.
Decent location however all major attractions / neighborhoods were a 15-20 min walk. Unfortunately, the shower leaked badly and left water all over the floor each time it was used, housekeeping entered our room despite us asking for a few minutes to finish changing (and they ignored that request which was awkward), and the pool was always overcrowded with unused “reserved” (by towels) chairs that left us standing. For $500 a night, the lack of comfort and poor pool management kept the experience from living up to Hilton standards

Some of the Front desk staff did not understand the concept of customer service, most were awesome. Building is beautiful. I cannot understand why a five star hotel would close their pool at 6 PM with 90° weather. Unbelievable. The restaurant in the hotel wasn't very busy, but the food was terrific. Waitstaff in the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating, but just not well-trained for a high-end restaurant

Almost everything was great. Upon check in, the staff welcomed us and took care of everything. They walked us to our room and explained the various perks of the room. The room was comfortable; however, it was facing an alley where trash was stored. It seemed every night from 2130-0100 the trash was being collected...very loud and made it hard to sleep during those hours. The breakfast buffet was great with a vast variety of food items. One of our days eating breakfast the scrambled eggs were extremely soupy and no one was eating them. Other than that still a great experience. Room service was fantastic! We ordered the pasta Bolognese(tasty), lasagna(not bad) and chicken/fries(great), hamburger/fries (good). I appreciate the care the staff took to make us comfortable and feel well served.

We chose this hotel because my family wanted a pool. It turned out to be a good decision because it was about 100 degrees every day we were in Rome. The people who work there are very helpful and friendly and they all speak English. The hotel has some general service quirks. There's a bar in the lobby but in 4 days I never actually saw someone working at it. There's a cigar/whiskey lounge off the lobby but the one time I tried to get a whiskey they called a guy over to help and he said the whiskey was up on the roof at the pool bar and he'd have to go check what they had in stock or something like that. It seemed like a big hassle (European service is almost universally slow and definitely noticeably slower than anything in the US even at its best) so I said to forget it.

This hotel is so beautiful and clean. The staff was amazing and helpful from arrival to departure. It’s in a central area with a quick walk or drive to most popular landmarks. I felt safe as a solo traveler and even walked to have dinner about 10 minutes away late at night. Reception was able to provide an amazing recommendation. There’s plenty of options for food on the property in case you don’t feel like going out. I enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend. I’d also return.

Reception staff were great, very attentive and cordial. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice, shower was fantastic, showing a little wear but overall good. Only downside of the room was the view, overlooking an atrium. Air conditioning was ok, only went down to 17c. Roof top bar was not great, the staff avoided interaction, I sat there five times and only asked once if I wanted a drink. Other times I had to ask. The pool was nice, not deep but ok. The pool is not big enough for the hotel and very few sun loungers. No bar menus for food or drinks on tables. Price of a coke is probably why, €8 for a 330ml can, that is extortionate. Overall disappointed with the bar. We had a buffet breakfast included and it was good. The selection is limited and the amount of table space is limited, so you seem to be bumping into people a lot as there is no space. They served tea/coffee and water but the rest is self service. The first breakfast we got baked beans, fantastic but the next two days broccoli!!! Leftovers reheated I assume. They had egg of the day, bacon, pastry and cakes. The last breakfast I wasn’t happy, I was on my own as my wife and daughter were coming down later. I had my cup of tea, OJ, water, eggs, tomatoes on the table. I went to get bacon, I was gone 20 seconds and when I returned my table was cleared. Staff apologised but seem to be laughing about it,
Reception staff were great, very attentive and cordial. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice, shower was fantastic, showing a little wear but overall good. Only downside of the room was the view, overlooking an atrium. Air conditioning was ok, only went down to 17c. Roof top bar was not great, the staff avoided interaction, I sat there five times and only asked once if I wanted a drink. Other times I had to ask. The pool was nice, not deep but ok. The pool is not big enough for the hotel and very few sun loungers. No bar menus for food or drinks on tables. Price of a coke is probably why, €8 for a 330ml can, that is extortionate. Overall disappointed with the bar. We had a buffet breakfast included and it was good. The selection is limited and the amount of table space is limited, so you seem to be bumping into people a lot as there is no space. They served tea/coffee and water but the rest is self service. The first breakfast we got baked beans, fantastic but the next two days broccoli!!! Leftovers reheated I assume. They had egg of the day, bacon, pastry and cakes.
