My wife and I and our two kids absolutely loved our time at Locanda La Corte. The hotel is on a canal, and in a quiet neighborhood close to everything you’d want to see in Venice. The staff was very friendly and helpful (even before our trip), and the room was clean and comfortable. We had the family room, which is actually two rooms (though no doors between them) with two bathrooms. The restaurant is fantastic, and we very much enjoyed the open seating area next to the canal. We definitely would stay here again should we return to Venice!

Directly on canal, so easily serviced by water taxi. The staff was eager to please and very accomodating. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with lots of choices. Hotel is centrally located for walking to all sight seeing options. Would stay again if visiting again.

Laconda La Corte is a Quaint, boutique Hotel on a canal a little off the beaten path, which gives you a nice reprieve from the crowds. It is a nice, about equidistant walk to the Rialto Bridge or Saint Marks Square. Staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very good. We enjoyed our time there very much!

Lovely gem of a hotel, quietly situated directly on the canal in the Castello area of central Venice. We arrived at Santa Lucia station and jumped on the Vaporetto public water bus - could have got off at Rialto but chose to stay on to San Marco to get the fantastic views down the grand canal and then arriving at San Marco - amazing! From there it’s just over a 10 walk through the backstreets to the hotel. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming - and gave us early check in to one of our rooms at 11am which was ideal. Delighted with our room - it was huge, with windows overlooking the water - and had hot water for shower in the morning. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant is good too. A lovely place!

This property in Venice was very old but kept VERY NICE!! It’s not on the Grand Canal but had water access and street access. Close walking to alot of sights. Nice dining options including right next door. Breakfast buffet was simple but good with eggs, bacon, pancakes,etc. They make your choice of coffee fresh as you come in. Staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The only drawback to our room was the shower…. I could barely fit through the door!! I’m not a large man 6-2, 185…. But I got clean with hot water, so it’s all good.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ausgezeichneten Lage. Rialto, Markus-Platz, Dogen-Palast, Vaporetto etc…alles ist bequem und in Kürze zu Fuss erreichbar, top! Frühstück wies alles auf, was das Herz begehrt und wurde im schmucken Innenhof eingenommen, darauf freuten wir uns jeden Morgen. Punkto Sauberkeit können wir gar nichts bemängeln, unser Familienzimmer wurde täglich gereinigt, Frotté-Wäsche gewechselt. Was den Zustand des Hotels betrifft, so haben wir leider einige Unannehmlichkeiten erlebt: kein warmes Wasser während unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes (29.05.-02.06.2025), für Erwachsene irgendwie notgedrungen halt machbar, aber für unsere Kinder (6 & 4) eine absolute Zumutung!!! Auf unsere Meldung hin wurde nur kurz genickt und bestätigt, dass das Problem bekannt sei und wir wurden gefragt, ob wir gerne frühzeitig auschecken möchten…sonst passierte nichts. Lag wohl aber auch nicht in der Macht der Hotelangestellten. Abgeseh‘n vom nicht existierenden Heisswasser wies unser Zimmer doch diverse Mängel auf, z. B. löste sich der Türrahmen zum Bad von der Wand; die obere Leiste war schon gar nicht mehr vorhanden (!) oder eine Stromabdeckung an der Wand war nur lose befestigt und legte immer wieder die Sicht auf die Verkabelung frei…(Fotos). Fazit: Sehr schöner Innenhof, top Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Unterkunft ist aber in die Jahre gekommen und sollte dringend renoviert oder zumindest punktuell ausgebessert werden.

This boutique hotel is situated right on a small canal, in an old traditional building. Access to Venice couldn't be better from there. To get there with luggage, best to take the water bus "vaporetto" as the walk would otherwise involve too many sets of stairs over bridges. We counted only 3 sets of stairs on the route to the vaporetti station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size. There was no elevator to our room, unfortunately. The shower stall sizes seem to be very tiny all over Italy and this bathroom was no exception, but it was clean. There is a good restaurant on site and breakfast was good as well. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

There was no hot water the 2 days we were there with no accommodations made. We woke up with bug bites everywhere. They charged us for every water. Highly do not recommend this place.

Hospedagem típica de Veneza. Edifício antigo conservado e bastante bonito. Quarto espaçoso e banheiro muito limpo. Localização numa região muito tranquila, sem barulho, com fácil acesso aos pontos turísticos em caminhadas agradáveis.

Beautiful small hotel in lovely old building on edge of canal. Very stylish reception which must have cost a fortune (magnificent chandelier). Our suite was enormous, very clean and full of character. Beds very comfortable and always slept well (hotel very quiet) All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok. Coffee and hot chocolate were lovely (made to order) and nice juices and fresh rolls/cakes but for some reason hot dishes (sausages, bacon and scrambled egg) were always lukewarm which let the breakfast down a bit. 10 min to Rialto. 15 min to St Marco. While waiting in reception on leaving day (late flight) were all given drink and snacks - a very generous and thoughtful gesture. Sad to leave. Venice and hotel, despite bad weather we encountered, are absolutely both beautiful and unique.

Loved our huge room 01. It was light & airy & lovely and clean. Nice bed, and we had a lovely canal view. A bonus was we had a kettle and tea tray, very unusual in Europe. We've stayed in different hotels in Venice before & never had one! The bathroom was good except the tiny corner shower, so small and the doors needed fixing, and the shower head needed descaling which we told reception about, it spluttered everywhere, but we did manage. We loved the hotel and the staff were all wonderful. Breakfast was ok, except the "hot" food was always cold. But toast & croissants were good & a BIG Thank You to Shuvo in the breakfast bar, he makes THE BEST cafe latte! The housekeeper kept our room spotless. The hotel is in a perfect location for everything us tourists need to see! Thanks to the manager too, he was very welcoming. We didn't try the restaurant but it did get busy, and it had a pretty courtyard.

We loved the hotel and the staff were all wonderful. Breakfast was ok, except the "hot" food was always cold. But toast & croissants were good & a BIG Thank You to Shuvo in the breakfast bar, he makes THE BEST cafe latte! The housekeeper kept our room spotless. The hotel is in a perfect location for everything us tourists need to see! Thanks to the manager too, he was very welcoming. We didn't try the restaurant but it did get busy, and it had a pretty courtyard.

Nous avons fait un état des lieux dans la chambre pas d'étagère dans l'armoire pour poser nos affaires de la moisissure sur la porte de douche dans la salle de bain ainsi que dans la douche voir photos comprenez bien un cas plus de 200 € la chambre ça un minimum de prestation petit déjeuner servi à 8h et non pas à 7h30 nous avons quitté la chambre le lendemain et nous avons changé d'hôtel ier nous a remboursé les deux nuitées supplémentaires que nous avions au préalablement payé. Hotels.com à téléphoner à l'hôtelier pour avoir des explications l'hôtelier a dit que c'était un problème gouvernemental. MDR ! C'est franchement pas sérieux de plus nous avons vérifié les évaluations de l'hôtel et je me suis aperçu qu'il y avait un problème d'eau chaude confère les évaluations sur Google. Locanda La Corte was a great home base for my wife and I in our recent travels to Venice. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and even gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a view of the canals. Prior to our stay, front desk staff assisted us with securing reservations for dinner as well as recommendations for points of interest. The location was quiet as it was away from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto, but was still within a 10-minute walk of each of those areas. For the room, the air-con was strong, which was great to beat the humidity of the Venetian day. We didn't try the breakfast for an additional cost, but the breakfast courtyard was cute. Wonderful location and amazing breakfast, but there was no warm water during our entire stay. They knew of this before we checked in but did not give us advance notice. They were kind enough to give us a discount on our trip, but that was a big issue as our family was coming off a Seven day dolomite hike and very much looking forward to a warm shower!

Esperienza molto positiva. Camera putita e calda, con meravigliosa vista sul canale dove passano le gondole. Punto strategico per raggiungere sia il ponte di Rialto e piazza San Marco. Locanda con Ristorante sotto. Colazione buffet ottima, sia dolce e salato. Personale gentilissimo. Ci torno volentieri un saluti a tutti.

Beautiful small hotel in lovely old building on edge of canal. Very stylish reception which must have cost a fortune (magnificent chandelier). Our suite was enormous, very clean and full of character. Beds very comfortable and always slept well (hotel very quiet) All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok. Coffee and hot chocolate were lovely (made to order) and nice juices and fresh rolls/cakes but for some reason hot dishes (sausages, bacon and scrambled egg) were always lukewarm which let the breakfast down a bit. 10 min to Rialto. 15 min to St Marco. While waiting in reception on leaving day (late flight) were all given drink and snacks - a very generous and thoughtful gesture. Sad to leave. Venice and hotel, despite bad weather we encountered, are absolutely both beautiful and unique.

Loved our huge room 01. It was light & airy & lovely and clean. Nice bed, and we had a lovely canal view. A bonus was we had a kettle and tea tray, very unusual in Europe. We've stayed in different hotels in Venice before & never had one! Loved our stay, the location was just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get everywhere quickly. The room was large and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast area was charming. We would definitely stay there again.

This boutique hotel is situated right on a small canal, in an old traditional building. Access to Venice couldn't be better from there. To get there with luggage, best to take the water bus "vaporetto" as the walk would otherwise involve too many sets of stairs over bridges. We counted only 3 sets of stairs on the route to the vaporetti station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size. There was no elevator to our room, unfortunately. The shower stall sizes seem to be very tiny all over Italy and this bathroom was no exception, but it was clean. There is a good restaurant on site and breakfast was good as well. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Ho prenotato questa locanda con sei mesi di anticipo per assicurarmi un alloggio a Venezia, anche se la camera aveva un costo piuttosto elevato. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti cortesemente dal personale della reception, che ci ha accompagnati in camera e illustrato i servizi disponibili. Dopo il check-in, siamo usciti per trascorrere l'intera giornata a Venezia. Purtroppo, al nostro rientro in serata, abbiamo scoperto che non c’era acqua calda. Abbiamo provato a contattare la reception, ma non c’era più nessuno. Alla fine, abbiamo chiamato il numero del ristorante e ha risposto il manager, che si è scusato e ci ha chiesto se fossimo stati informati del problema. Purtroppo, non ci era stato detto nulla al momento del check-in, e questo è stato un fatto grave, soprattutto considerando che il problema dell’acqua calda durava da almeno tre giorni, come ci è stato confermato solo il giorno dopo. Abbiamo dovuto fare la doccia sia la sera che la mattina con acqua fredda, il che è inaccettabile per una struttura di questo livello. La mattina successiva, durante la colazione, nessuno della reception ci ha fornito spiegazioni: sono stato io a dover sollevare di nuovo la questione. Nice building and location, but they could drastically improve the experience they give their guests. Nearly every interaction with the staff at the hotel was awkward. We had no hot water for the 4 days we were there and we were told, sorry, the building is old. When we followed up after days of having to wash ourselves in the sink, they offered to make it right with a meal from the hotel restaurant. We accepted this offer in good faith and this was a bad decision. The meal was awkward from the beginning - making us feel unwelcome. They made us poorer quality meals than described on the menu - one of which was undercooked seared pork, which I sent back. I spoke with the manager who just apologised, but continued to make us feel bad for even being there. We spoke with friends who stayed at other hotels and they had staff who were excited to share information about what to do, see and eat on the islands. If you're wanting a hotel with good hospitality, or even running hot water, definitely go elsewhere.

Directly on canal, so easily serviced by water taxi. The staff was eager to please and very accomodating. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with lots of choices. Hotel is centrally located for walking to all sight seeing options. Would stay again if visiting again.

Laconda La Corte is a Quaint, boutique Hotel on a canal a little off the beaten path, which gives you a nice reprieve from the crowds. It is a nice, about equidistant walk to the Rialto Bridge or Saint Marks Square. Staff is very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very good. We enjoyed our time there very much!

We arrived at Santa Lucia station and jumped on the Vaporetto public water bus - could have got off at Rialto but chose to stay on to San Marco to get the fantastic views down the grand canal and then arriving at San Marco - amazing! From there it’s just over a 10 walk through the backstreets to the hotel. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming - and gave us early check in to one of our rooms at 11am which was ideal. Delighted with our room - it was huge, with windows overlooking the water - and had hot water for shower in the morning. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant is good too. A lovely place!

Loved our stay, the location was just far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get everywhere quickly. The room was large and had a great view of the canal. The breakfast area was charming. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Great location, safe, clean and quaint. Staff goes above and beyond regardless of your request. Dinner there is amazing too. I highly recommend it and will be back again, someday.

The building is beautiful and the staff are lovely. The floor of one of our rooms is wonky but nothing that couldn’t be fixed by chocking up the bedframe. The breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant is divine -highly recommend the seabass ravioli which was the best I’ve eaten in my life. The location was really good, walking distance to everything but far enough away from the chaos.

The place was great, clean, great location friendly staff. Air conditioning worked very well. We ate dinner the last night with a large crowd and the staff didnt seem like they are used to handling large crowds so eat there (food was ok) if you are smaller if larger i recommend looking elsewhere. otherwise had a great experience!

Joli hôtel de charme, à 10 min de la Plaza San Marco, 10 min du Rialto pour la navette vers la gare, calme, vraiment bien situé, patio intérieur très mignon. Mais: pas d'eau chaude pendant 2 jours, avec une vague excuse à la réception et encore parce qu'on leur en a parlé. Aucune compensation, au prix de la chambre, ça énerve ! Petit dej vraiment basique, tout est congelé, les œufs brouillés sont archi cuits. La chambre est grande mais il n'y a qu'une armoire sans étagère, nous n'avons pas pu défaire nos valises. Et l'accueil, quand je lis les autres commentaires, j'ai l'impression qu'il ne s'agit pas du même hôtel...juste poli, jamais de sourire, on avait l'impression de l'embêter. Vraiment dommage car c'est un bel hôtel qui devrait prendre un peu plus soin de ses touristes

There were hairs in the toilet sink and a very strong sewage smell coming from the bed area. At first, I thought the smell was coming from the toilet, but it wasn’t. There were also many mosquitoes in the room, with dead mosquitoes and many marks on the walls. Overall, the cleanliness and smell of the room need significant improvement.

What a wonderful room to call home for a few days. We arrived early and the staff held our bags for ua to explore. When we returned to get our room, our bags were already waiting for us in the room — nice touch. The location was beautiful from the little alcove ok the canal to the courtyard eating area, and to the beautiful large room overlooking the canal. We had lots of space for us and our two teens. Air conditioning worked well and breakfast was good with good coffee:) all in all, we will stay here again on our return to Venice.

We absolutely loved our stay. This hotel is full of original character. The room was nice, clean and a good size. The air condition worked well. Marco was very welcoming on arrival and all staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast was lovely. We took the public taxi boat from the airport and got off at Ospadale stop. Not far to walk. We got lost a few times when we had been out and about but its all part of the Venice experience. Google maps are a must! Very good location for walking to all areas. Nice quiet location. The bed was very comfortable. One tip for venice and other parts of Italy we visited, take insect repellent!! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

They let us check in a little early, gave directions and advice, and packed us breakfast when we had to checkout early. Great location, right on the canal, walkable to everything while not in an area overcrowded with tourists. Our room was exactly as pictured and we enjoyed the canal view. The hotel has a cute little courtyard and a restaurant, with breakfast provided. Only downsides were some small flies in the bathroom and spotty wifi in the room (worked great in the hotel common areas). Overall, an excellent place to stay and I would return!
