The check-in was seamless. We’ve been upgraded to the spacious apartment which has a private landing stage (or dock) to the Canale Grande where you can watch the busy activities of the city with a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. It’s within a few meters of the terrace of the M‘Art Restaurant so you may get envy glances. The rooms were only separated by curtains but that was ok for us (parents and two boys, 10 and 8). Perfect experience!

Fantastisk modtagelse og service overalt. Super beliggenhed midt i Venedig, og alligevel trygt og roligt. Meget flotte værelser (vi var på 2 pga. opgradering). Fin morgenmad. Et fantastisk sted, og jeg vil ønske at vi kan komme der igen. Hele vejen igennem gøres noget ekstra. Velkomst brev med info om særlige muligheder. Kaffe & te på gangen (og lige lidt chokolade dertil). Det var tænkt på paraply-lån. Enestående venlig reception. Vi var afsted i speciel anledning, og blev opgraderet på 2. Nat så vi fik værelse med udsigt til kanal Grande. Hotellet gjorde det til en uforglemmelig begivenhed.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs but once upstairs it is beautiful. The staff was so kind and helpful. The view was exquisite.

Excellent hotel apartment, beautiful! View to the canal. Clean, great service from Marco. The hotel has AC which is great in the summer. Unfortunately there is no laundry in the apartment. It has kitchen and a beautiful and spacious bathroom. Very safe.

Wow - what a place!! We had the had the pleasure of a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal - which has to be one of our holiday highlights. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Having a coffee machine and non noisy air conditioning were big bonuses. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our stay special. Location couldn’t be better. We’ll be back!

From the moment you enter you are greeted by the concierge who was very helpful and kind. Everyone who worked there was very nice and informative and there to help if you needed. We had an amazing stay at Locanda Leon Bianco! Beautiful building, room and the hotel staff is extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view of the grand canal and convenient to many things. The room was impeccably clean, the breakfast was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was traveling with my husband and 7 year old son and would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

I booked this hotel because i wanted a view of the grand canal. I received a room overlooking an alley. Very disappointed with view. Also, booked it because it had air conditioning but was told it was off.The staff is outstanding and its location is in the middle of everything. Excellent breakfast!

Loved the hotel. It was about a 5 minute walk to the water taxi stop. The water view was amazing. The only complain I have is that the walls are thin and can hear voices in the room next to us but they weren’t rowdy which was good. Overall I would stay at the hotel again.

This was such a gem of a place! Our room was absolutely perfect, we had an amazing view of the canal and the amenities were great. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helped us with transportation and recommendations. It is in a great location, walkable to everything, and very safe. The staff were so kind and helpful, even carrying our luggage, which was not light, up to our room. The room itself was gorgeous, and the view even more so. We could sit out on the little balcony in front of the Grand Canal and watch the local life and gondolas go by. You can even see the Rialto Bridge. We looked at many hotels before booking this one, and I’m beyond grateful we did. It’s just a short walk from the waterbus, and along the way there are many shops and most importantly, places to get gelato and cannolis. I’ll definitely be staying here if we visit Venice again. *Helpful hints about Venice: There are lots of stairs, so the city can be a bit tough to navigate if you use assistive devices. If you have a disability, I recommended booking a hotel near a waterbus station ON THE SIDE of that station as to avoid needing to cross a bridge. Pack in smaller suitcases if you can; this will make it much easier with stairs. There are ACTV ticket booths at the waterbus stations; you can purchase online ahead of time and enter your PNR code to print your tickets there or you can just purchase there. Pay attention to which direction your waterbus is going. It can be easy to make a mistake and go the opposite of what you intended.

We had an amazing stay at Locanda Leon Bianco! Beautiful building, room and the hotel staff is extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view of the grand canal and convenient to many things. The room was impeccably clean, the breakfast was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was traveling with my husband and 7 year old son and would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Wow - what a place!! We had the had the pleasure of a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal - which has to be one of our holiday highlights. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Having a coffee machine and non noisy air conditioning were big bonuses. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our stay special. Location couldn’t be better. We’ll be back!

Un cadre tout ce qu’il y a de plus charmant et romantique. L’établissement est une ancienne demeure vénitienne qui sert maintenant d’hôtel mais ne comporte qu’un étage d’après ce que j’ai compris et très peu de chambre. Le petit déjeuner présente un petit buffet ainsi que des choses qui peuvent vous être servies sur demande (œufs brouillés, œufs sur le plat, œufs durs, jus de fruits). La vue au réveil est vraiment des plus sympathiques, dommage que la marée n’était pas plus haute (mais cela ne dépend en rien de l’hôtel). Le personnel est aux petits soins, très aimable et agréable. Ils ont des restaurants à vous conseiller. Dans la chambre se trouvait tout le nécessaire de toilettes et d’hygiène. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et étions tristes finalement de n’y passer qu’une nuit car on n’en a pas suffisamment profité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet hôtel lors d’un prochain voyage à Venise ! L’établissement est bien placé. Loved the hotel. It was about a 5 minute walk to the water taxi stop. The water view was amazing. The only complain I have is that the walls are thin and can hear voices in the room next to us but they weren’t rowdy which was good. Overall I would stay at the hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Locanda Leon Bianca, just off the Grand Canal in Venice. Our vaporetto from the airport delivered us to a dock just a short walking distance away. The location was ideal... easily accessible to restaurants, shopping, and major sights. We were just north of the Rialto Bridge in the Cannaregio -- close to everything, but without the crowds. The facilities and staff were excellent and very accommodating.

I booked this hotel because i wanted a view of the grand canal. I received a room overlooking an alley. Very disappointed with view. Also, booked it because it had air conditioning but was told it was off.The staff is outstanding and its location is in the middle of everything. Excellent breakfast!

The private pickup is a bit expensive, but it is very convenient and takes away any stress, especially for first time visitors.
