Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten eindeutig hinter sich. Doch die Möbel sind nicht nur abgewohnt, sondern teilweise sogar defekt; der Kühlschrank im Zimmer funktioniert ebenso wenig, wie der Abfluss in der Dusche; an der überlackierten Badewanne platzt der Lack schon wieder großflächig ab. Als wäre das nicht schon genug, ist auch der Start in den Tag das reinste Horrorszenario: absolutes Chaos beim Frühstück, Besteck und Teller sind Mangelware, Kaffeelöffel gibt es gar nicht. Statt dessen wird einem auf Nachfrage empfohlen, den Stiel des Messers zum Kaffeeumrühren zu benutzen. Das Angebot an sich ist allenfalls Standard - aber beim Blick in die völlig verdreckte Küche vergeht einem endgültig die Lust, zwischen Bergen von unabgeräumten Geschirr auf den Nachbartischen etwas zu essen. Die Lage am Ende der Welt neben einem ehemaligen Einkaufszentrum ohne anständige Nahverkehrsanbindung sorgt endgültig dafür, dass diese Hotel, das noch immer mit vier Sternen wirbt, noch jemals wiedersehen wird.
