Courtyard by Marriott Anchorage Airport

Pool was great hot tub made noise sleeping didn’t turn it on and it was still nice If you want to be sure to be up and out to enjoy the day great place the airplane tours start at 8

We specifically chose the hotel because of its location and it had a hot tub. We were really looking forward to the hot tub because we needed to relax. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not working.

I didn’t like the fact that you could not get into the hotel through back doors where signs were to use your room key to open the door. Sad.

Hotel is modern. Rooms are nice, and comfortable. Great eating amd sitting area, with good food from the restaurant. There is also a lounge for cocktails after 5pm.

The staff was absolutely amazing!! The hotel is still under renovations. The elevator definitely needs an upgrade. Great breakfast options. Pool was clean. Good lobby. Fun bar.

The Breakfast buffet eggs and potatoes were cold and not worth the $16 but the other breakfast options were excellent and large portions. Please not so much chlorine in pool Except for that property was well kept and enjoyable stay.

Hotel was very clean. Close to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. They had a small coffee stand inside the hotel with good coffee, lattes, etc. They have a freezer if you need to store fish, however there were not able to accommodate us on the night the we stayed so we had to take our boxes to the airport to store it which was $24/box per night. Overall, we would stay again if we had to. Wish it hadn't of been so expensive ($500/nt). Definitely wasn't a $500/nt type of area or room.

The room was not clean. The sink and toilet were dirty. The blanket underneath the comforter had what looked like old blood stains on it. Room was quiet and large.They have a GREAT hottub. It was big and clean and soooo hot. I like a very hot hottub but it was almost too hot for me. It would probably be an unsafe temperature for children and elderly.

There were bugs in the room; woke up with huge itchy welts and when I showed the reception the manager assured me that they will change the bedsheets and check thoroughly. Since I was travelling for work, I believed the manager and left for work, when I came back, the bed was stripped, however the old bedsheets and everything else was left on the sofa in the room and I was not given replacements. The day I checked out, I woke up and a saw a bed bug crawl into the mattress. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

It’s clean personnel are friendly and helpful. They have free shuttle going to airport.The most I love is Marriott is very cleanthe smell is very good smell fresh and clean.

Very happy they allowed us to drop/leave our bags, 5 hours before we were able to check-in! Very well appointed hotel with a generous space in our king room! Very pleased.

Very friendly staff and the rooms were very big. Odd light switch locations though in the rooms and the sofa was not very comfortable. But the beds were great as was the pool. Overall it was a very good place to stay and the location was good, short drive to everything

Wifi is no good. You need to purchase upgraded connection, but hotel was clean, staff nice and helpful, and decent food and beverage options. Convenient. I would definitely use again.

Paid over $400 for a double room. Building was clearly old apartments that were converted to a hotel, but still feels like apartments. Tiny elevator that we could not get our bags and 4 people in. A/c in room sounded like a 747 taking off. Poorly lit room. The housekeeper left my family of 4 with one bath towel. The area around lake hood used to be safe but now there are drug addicts panhandling and walking around making it unsafe to walk for food so we ordered delivery. For $150 maybe $200 a night if you were desperate and needed to be close to the airport. $400 was absolutely criminal.

It was a cute perfect little suite with everything I needed.

A great place to stay I’ll be making this my go to in anchorage. Staff was friendly. Check in easy. Shuttle pickup fast and effortless. Rooms are clean and wonderful

This stay was the worst experience I have ever had. Called for an airport shuttle and the driver was extremely rude. Didn’t help with bags at all. We had 3 children with us and he refused to take us without car seats for all of them. We had a booster seat for one of our kids. He told us to have my husband take a taxi with the other 2 kids. I get the car seat requirements but the way he spoke to us was extremely rude. I took the shuttle with my son age 10in a booster (our 10 YO son is past booster requirements but the driver insisted he sit in a booster) when we got to the hotel the guy just went inside leaving me to unload all our luggage with my 10 year old son. My husband called stating that the taxis didn’t have car seats or were already full. I found the driver and asked him to go back with the booster seat to get him and he said no, just told me to tell my husband to wait for another taxi. Upon going to our room it smelled of marijuana. We went back to the front desk and told them we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in that room with our three children. They switched us to a different room which was also very dirty pee on the bathroom floor, hair on the floor etc. The few people I ran into in the halls at 1 am when checking in looked like they were on drugs and I didn’t feel safe walking the halls with my kids. After all of this we left and my son forgot his expensive filter water bottle at the coffee station, we quickly returned to get and it was gone-staff not helpful.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I felt extremely safe staying here especially traveling alone as a woman. I stayed in a king suite and it was extremely comfortable and so spacious. I loved that the bedroom was seperate from the living room and bathroom. The room was so clean. The housekeeping staff are also incredible at their jobs and so kind. The front desk staff were also extremely friendly and speedy. My only take away would be having more options to choose from in the little market area however thats definitely not a deal breaker. 10/10 recommend this location

The front desk told me the shuttle van would arrive in ten minutes. I stayed outside in freezing cold for forty minutes. My hands got numb. I called the hotel three times asking if I should just get a cab. The hotel is a five minute drive from airport. She insisted he was coming. When I finally got a cab, I noticed the shuttle van was parked and the driver inside. Horrible.

Close to airport, needs a bit of TLC but overall it's up to marriott standards. The cost of hotels in ANC is usurious but they don't seem to lack for customers. Check in was delayed, they had whole bunch of clients wanting to check in but rooms weren't ready at 3 as listed. Not a big deal but expected them to be on their game at these prices. Breakfast was better than usual institutional fare but nothing to write home about. Overall i'd stay here again but will probably look for better deal. Neighborhood is fine, busy but still pretty quiet considering Lake Spenard/Hood aerodrome is across the street.

Staff was excellent

Several calls to a couple of their listed/recommended phone #s resulted in AI responses completely unrelated to questions asked. For example, when I reported the deadbolt on door not working, AI phone response gave medical and ER as next step solutions. When I tried to ask about late arrivals, I was asked for my phone # but time not allotted for my response and AI talked on and on with no way to get out of loop except hang up.

Great service they were very good handling any request and the manager was very professional!

Decent hotel to stay. Staff are smiling and friendly, despite the cold weather. Unfortunately, it’s -17 outside and very dry here and this hotel doesn’t offer small complimentary lotions. That’s a first! Breakfast buffet (similar to a typical continental breakfast) is $17. There’s a Starbucks inside the lobby, which was great. I also used the hot tub/spa since it was so cold out and the pool area was very clean and nice. I would stay here again.

Breakfast is a total rip off. $16.95 for a substandard breakfast while the competition is providing fruit, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, and grits at no surcharge. Sad; very sad.

Direct TV faded in and out the entire stay. Layout of hotel bar and food was haphazard

It was a perfect stay for one night as we prepared to head to our cruise ship the next day. The location is close to airport, clean, Starbucks team was very friendly and food was perfect for breakfast. Room was clean, efficient and just right after a long flight.

It was all good but, they make pay for the breakfast? Spent hundreds of dollars to stay at decent hotel and they can’t give a free breakfast. Weird
