Residence Inn Mobile

Booked with the residence inn for the indoor pool. Of course it was closed and not usable while we were there. Plus the area around the place was very sketchy. Will NOT be back to this place

The elevator was down the entire stay. It needs to be updated.

The door was broken at the hotel.

This property was very nice and better than expected. Our room was amazing very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the amenities like the gym and breakfast. We will be returning.

I got locked out of the hotel at 3am for over an hour since the 24/7 desk person was not where she was supposed to be…this is a pet friendly hotel so I took my dog for a late night bathroom trip and then got locked out. None of the door cards worked, lights didn’t work, and the door bell didn’t matter since no one staffed the front desk…this while my young kids were upstairs in the room sleeping, thankfully not awake freaking out.

Worst hotel experience in decades (having traveled extensively). Absolutely nothing worked: dead elevator, breakfast room ran out of coffee and some foods an hour early, no coffee service replenishment in the room, carpet is buckled and dangerous, no ice anywhere in the hotel, firepit does not work, attracts noisy parties and smokers late into the night, heated pool is not heated, wafflemaker not available 75% of the time, staff sat playing on their phones while ignoring guests, no cleaning of tables during breakfast service. Other than Johnny, the engineer, the staff largely treated us as annoyances rather than as guests. This place is a recycled extended stay cheap hotel. With so many other, better options for hotels within easy walking distance, run!!! to the others.

We stayed here as a stopping point in the middle of a long road-trip back home. The woman at the front desk was very kind, check in was simple. She mentioned the elevator wasn’t working but hey, we can deal. Once we get to the room we were so excited to take a hot shower. After camping in the Texas heat for an entire weekend and driving 9 hours, we couldn’t wait to wash off. We noticed the hot water wasn’t working so we go down to the front desk. The original desk host was on her way out, and the next one informed us it was out for the whole building. I really wish I would’ve been told about this at check in as it was obviously hidden from me to keep my reservation and payment. It was 11:30 at night and we just accepted cold showers as we were too tired to try to fight for a refund and then search for a new place to stay. The next morning the batteries in the door went out and we ended up locked out for about 20 minutes before we were able to get in. I get that maintenance things happen. I work in a similar industry and I’m completely understanding of things breaking and not being able to get an immediate fix. My problem is that this was not disclosed up front so I could make alternate plans and was checked in while they knew there was a problem. This is extremely shady and unprofessional.

The hotel was very nice and the workers was helpful given their circumstances the elevator was out of order so it was extra work for them BUT they did their best to commend us and we appreciate that all and all Yes I recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again also the indoor pool is a big bonus for me and my family

Room smelled like dog poop and urine

The rooms are a little dated but they were clean and in good order.

It was very clean and smelled great. This was very roomy. Had large sitting area and large bedroom.

The suite was spacious and clean upon checkin. The checkin and checkout experience was great. The only complaints I have are that there was just one small garbage can in the whole suite. It was in the bathroom. We didn’t have one in the kitchen, which seemed strange. Additionally, the first coffee mug I pulled out of the cabinet to use was filthy. It had brown debris on the inside and looked as if it had not been washed. There was also a spoon that looked dirty that I took from the drawer to use.

It's time for a new mattress on the king bed the mattress was flat and hard. The color on the television in the sitting room is about gone as the screen was blue.

Toilet ran and leaked but was fixed by property manager because maintenance isn’t scheduled on weekends . Tub was stopped up and had slow drain. Called front desk to have it fixed and no one came to fix the drain . Television did not connect to the hotels Wi-Fi so we could not sign in to any of the streaming apps . Television was functioning very slow . Asked for extra rags and was told that there weren’t any and was given hand towels instead so we had to go purchase wash rags . Also called the property two days prior to arriving to confirm if I could use cash when we checked out and I was told yes , that I just needed a card to have on file to check in only to be informed 3 hours prior to check in that they didn’t accept cash as a payment option . So I was given incorrect information. And we were charged an additional $20 for each night for incidental charges instead of a deposit which was not mentioned in booking policy terms . It’s supposed to be a 3-star hotel but was more like a 2-star . Overall rating is a 4 .

Although the manager, James, was very nice, our overall stay was subpar. We were staying for 7 nights, on our 4th night we lost hot water. We weren't notified until our 6th night after we called the front desk. We were told at that point they had an issue with the boiler. Their internet was also very poor - making it difficult to get work done or even watch the TVs in the room. The elevator's inspection date had also expired which was disturbing.

The room was clean, beautiful and spacious, however, the hot water was not working the entire stay. We made sure to tell front desk, However, the repairs were unable to be made before check out.

The doors would not lock on the first room they gave me. Then I was moved to a second room and the door lock had issues too.

Staff is very rude tried to fight me in front of my 4 children

The hotel was very nice and the workers was helpful given their circumstances the elevator was out of order so it was extra work for them BUT they did their best to commend us and we appreciate that all and all Yes I recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again also the indoor pool is a big bonus for me and my family
