Comfort Inn & Suites Montgomery East Carmichael Rd

It was advertised as having a pool I cancelled prior booking and paid double the price to switch to this place so we had a pool to show up and find out they don’t have 1

We stopped for the night. One of the reasons we choose this motel was the listing showed it had a pool for our grandkids to use. It seems the pool is no longer in operation. This motel has removed the pool from their listing, HOWEVER, none of the third party hotel searches have removed the pool dispute them being asked. Very disappointed. The staff was good, the room was fine, no other issues.

They were repaving the area giving it a facelift....

Pool was closed they were doing som e remodeling but overall all was good

First. The front desk receptionist was great. The elevator was stalling since we arrived on Dec. 25th. Finally on December 28th the elevator completely stopped We were on the 3rd floor. I and my friend are elderly and I have bad knees. With only 1 elevator, we had to walk up 3 flight of stairs. Once we got up to our room, our room wasn't cleaned and no clean towels. I called and mentioned our room hadn't been cleaned and could someone bring up some clean towels, he said No, we had to come down. My friend, had to walk down the stairs to get clean towels and I wasn't happy about that. This is my first time Ever having this type of Experience at Comfort Inn.

It’s an average place to stay for a night. The pool was closed and didn’t look like it would be reopening anytime soon.

The owners were very nice but the hotel was old and needed repairs. There was mold all along the edges of our shower, the bathroom floor was rippled and there were bugs. The elevator didn’t work in the morning so we had to make several trips to the car using the stairs. The area around the hotel was derelict and light industry. There were no nice restaurants to go to either. All in all I would never recommend this hotel and I’m surprised it has Comfort Inn and Suites endorsement.

Only reason for selecting this property was for the indoor pool to be told it has not been functional for a long while. Other issue property location is undesirable.

The room was clean as always when I stay there.

This place was awful!!!!! When I got there, they put us in a room that someone had already slept in. I called the front desk and she acted like it had happened before. She put us in another room. As I was walking around to make sure it was clean, my son asks me why there’s food in the refrigerator. Yes, there was two leftover plates from a restaurant that was left in the room. I called the front desk again and she says “We don’t have anymore rooms so what do you expect me to do?” When I went to shower, there was hair all over the hair dryer. There was a bug crawling beside the tub. It was a disgusting hotel.

We had bugs in our sofa bed. Contacted the front desk. Told the manager was off and they couldn’t call him at all after hours. And no other rooms. They gave us pledge cleaning spray to the bugs. Entire stay was ruined due to bugs in the room.

This trip was an emergency trip from Hurricane Milton. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great! The room was a good size for our stay! The sofa had stains all over it, there is no carpet, so the floors needed to be cleaned, they were very dirty. The shower had some mold growth and overall needed some TLC.

The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was good. Our room was disappointing. It was muggy and smelled like mildew. We arrived at 1:00am. The bedding smelled like mildew. The entire walls in the bathroom was covered in green fuzzy mold spores. I had to wipe down the walls to get rid of all mold. There was a spider in the shower. Our bed comforter had a huge ripped hole in it. Loud guests yelling and fighting in hallway at 2:00am. A stranger came and knocked on our door twice at 5:00am . Overall poor experience. Traffic noise is very loud all night long. We won't be back.

The hotel was very quiet and clean

Room was mostly clean but the walls, and furnishings seemed a bit neglected. The window AC made the room cool but either the humidity outside or the AC made the sheets feel damp. Overall an okay stay but it seemed a downgrade and true meaning of economy stay with the overall condition of the maintenance of the room and hotel.

The staff was very polite and the hotel and rooms were very clean and spacious.

Bed was just okay. Shower leaked water near the toilet where it shouldn't have been possible. Living space floor was most uneven as if the floor was sagging because of non-support from below (just a guess on my part). Two TVs were a great plus. WiFi worked well. Service and management people were very friendly and helpful.

The room was VERY large, it was clean and well maintained. I was there for 3 nights and the bag of trash sitting beside the trash can in the ice machine area on the 2nd floor remained there the whole time. There was debris in the 2nd floor hallway that remained there the whole time, too. It only takes a minute to take out trash and vacuum a hallway and I would have had a better review had it been completed.

After checking in, I went to my room and found the door propped open by the safety latch. I had no way of knowing if someone was inside, and when I reached in to turn on the light, it didn’t come on. VERY UNSAFE! I decided it was probably a mistake by housekeeping or other staff, and I entered carefully and checked the room thoroughly — probably an unwise decision, but it was late and I was tired. No one was there, and when I notified the front desk, the staffer said it was a mistake by housekeeping. Also, the air conditioner was noisy, which made sleep almost impossible. On a good note: the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, especially the coffee.

It was a very short overnight stay during a road trip to Florida. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay her again.

I absolutely loved the layout of my room! I was grateful for the mini microwave and fridge, and I never had a room with 2 TVs! And I was pleasantly surprised about the breakfast they offered guests each morning: buscuits, gravy, sausages, eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, begals, and muffins! On the down side, there was a musty smell as soon as I walked into the room. Upon further investigation, I noticed that at least one of the curtains had mildew. That's not only gross but very unhealthy. Unfortunately, even after I mentioned it at the front desk, the curtains were never cleaned. And the mattress wasn't tooo comfortable. But, overall, I had a lovely stay.

Only stayed for the night but our room was spacious and nice. The only hotel I've had with 2 tv's for the couch/bed and the bed. I'd stay again.

The floor in room 302 was soft in spots, especially between the bed and the window. There was a large hole under the vinyl tile floor covering. If a large man were to sleep on that side of the bed I think his foot might go right through. Couldn’t find anyone at the desk when we were leaving to report it to.

The room was very spacious and accommodated our needs. The mini fridge did not work properly, which was vital to our stay, and the handle to the shower would come off when turned. It was still usable but was unsafe for my children to operate. The shower head left much to be desired. Our activities kept us away from the hotel for the majority of the day and night so we just needed a place to shower and sleep. The breakfast was ok. All in all I would stay there again but not if we planned to be at the hotel for many hours throughout the day.

The manager on duty was rude and nasty, had a very poor attitude towards other guest after giving them the wrong room key to a room that was booked to other guest. She blamed it on working long hours and being tired, Also complaining about how much she hated/didn’t need this job. It was very off putting and disgusting to be met with this right as we walked in. I will NEVER stay here again.

My first day, I was put in a room where wires were exposed from a reading light. I was told from the front desk it would be taken care, but nothing happened. I was put in another room which I decided to stay. Unfortunately Unfortunately Unfortunately gother issues came up. I had to informed the front desk about water coming from one of steam tray and waterwas leaking onto the floor at breakfast area. I went back and the water was still there. The next day, had to askk about bowls, following day, not enough breakfast was prepared, the following day no syrup in the dispenser, and the following day no waffle mix in the dispenser. Each day, I felt that the front day didn't take time to check to make sure everything was appropriately ready for their guestd. Not one time did anyone from the management department ever asked I needed anything or if I had any concerns. The housekeepers did take time to see if I need anything. I also, noticed the eating area wasn't kept cleaned after spills. It appeared they waited for houskeeping staff to come in and do the cleaning. The managerial staff needs to take class on how customers should treated when they are at their establishment. I also need to call the front desk and when I went to use phone, no dial tone. I will not be returning to that particular hotel.

Two nights stay for surgery for my husband, it was a good 2 nights stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, will use again.

Fast and friendly check in.

After a very long drive, and wanting to relax, I checked into the hotel. I paid for two rooms and asked why my wishes to be near each other wasn’t honored. Was told about some game, but none of that was a concern for me. I was carrying my bags, diaper bag, clothing bags, just to get to “my” room and the door was opened. Someone else was obviously staying there. I told the person that they gave me keys to the same room. I shuffled back to the lobby to inform the clerk of the error. Was now give a room on the same floor I originally asked for. Get to the room, and the room keys don’t work. Shuffled back down with all my bags and my baby, so I could get some keys that worked. The attendant finally came to my new room, just to confirm that the keys she gave me didn’t work, as of being a guest at a hotel was new to me. I cannot recall the last time I visited a Comfort Inn & Suites, but do yourself a favor, and don’t book here. This experience has ruined my idea of what Comfort Inn & Suites can offer. Love yourself more and pick a hotel a little more pricey so you don’t run into these challenges. Also breakfast is from 4:30am-9:00am on a Saturday! Why?!! Who doesn’t want to sleep in, and 9:00am it ends, what a rip off.

Took an hour to check in. Key’s would not work for multiple rooms

Looking for a budget hotel on trip to Charleston. With that objective in mind, it was okay. Front desk service was excellent!

Extremely friendly staff, and overly accommodating for a short term reservation! They saved the day!

Me and my husband’s stay was everything we wanted it to be much more!!! We were close to many of the attractions we visited. nice and quiet area, Clean rooms, comfy bed

I was very happy with the price and quality. You instantly walk in and it smells good. The room was very spacious. Front desk was very kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and convenient to interstate

Great breakfast, clean room. However, room toward the interstates noisy.

Sketchy on and around the property. Drug deals in the parking lot. Cars coming and going. Not ideal for a peaceful nights sleep.

Convenient location off highway woth plenty of food options. Quiet place. Front desk very efficient and personable.

Location right off interstate for excellent convenience. Friendly service at desk 24 hrs. Breakfast area was clean food appetizing with healthy options. My reserved room had to be changed as the ac/heater was nonfunctional but receptionist changed room without attitude making sure I was pleased with switched room and comfortable. Room design was nicer than expected offering sofa area separate from bedroom. I thought my stay was very good and a value for the price!

The breakfast was great! Some minor maintenance issues could be addressed. Overall our stay was pleasant and quiet.

We liked the clean room, pleasant cleaning staff. Breakfast was terrible. Cold gravy, they ran out of orange juice, weren't very accomodating. Just because people came north from hurricane Milton the hotel should have had enough supplies.

The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. The TV was easy to use. The hallways were clean and the maids friendly. Checkin was quick and easy. Breakfast had a good variety of food choices. Parking was close and easy

I had no major issues with my stay. They are under renovation, but there was no construction going on while I was there or any issues with that. My only complaint would be that the nozzles have definitely not been cleaned in who knows how long for the juice machine at breakfast. The orange juice and one of the other juices definitely tasted moldy. Outside of that I have nothing to complain about.

It was really good. Especially, considering the last minute nature of out stay. Our plumbing backed up and I was able to go on the app and seamlessly find this place which wasn't too far from my home. Customer service was much betger than the surrounding hotels, cleaner, and the breakfast was much closer to an actual brrakfast as well. Not just yogurt and muffins like other places. I'd definitely stay herr again.

We stayed one night on our way home from Texas. The room was fine, comfortable. The morning breakfast was needing to be replenished. We saw no attendant around.
