Room was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. There were lots of restaurants close by and a supermarket across the street. The breakfast was really bad though, even the pastries were dry and old. However, for the price and pets staying free it was a great stay.

Guy at the front desk was very sweet. We booked 2 rooms. Rooms were great for the one night we were there. Love the fact that there is no pet fee considering we always travel with our dogs. The only negative thing was there was hair on the ledge in the tub. But nothing that would deter us from staying here again

It’s somewhat rundown. They allow dogs and do not charge. That’s the main reason we stay at Red Roof. Some are quite nice some need a little talc. Cleaning the vinyl floors so your feet don’t get filthy would be a good start. I washed mine before I went to bed

The room was very disappointing. The bed box frame under the mattress was HORRIBLE! CREAKED VERY LOUDLY with EVERY move. Unbelievable! How do they expect people to sleep on that. Both beds were exactly the same. Breakfast was very minimal. No tissues in the bathroom. And kids running and screaming up and down the entire hall at 11:00pm. Front desk clerk did nothing to ask them to try and be quiet.

The hotel was very clean, the Staff was Excellent and very Helpful. But it is so close to the road, that you could hear all of the cars and big Rigs all night long. The bed wasn't too comfy for me, my husband thought it was okay. Only an one night stay coming from Denver to Dallas. We have stayed here before but I'm afraid we won't again just because of the location to the road noise.

This was a great place for the rate we paid. We got in late one night and left after a breakfast the next morning. For our short stay it was a great location and friendly staff. The room assigned was half empty—half had a bed and a TV and a small desk, but the other half was a large empty area where side chairs or small sofas had been removed. We asked for a different room with complete furnishings but they did not have any. I asked for a refund but they said I paid Expedia/Hotels.com, so I would have to “call” them which is almost impossible on a weekend night. Bad experience and do not trust Ted Roof Inn any longer

I feel the motel is understaffed as the same person who checked us in the night before was still in charge of both the front desk and the complimentary breakfast the next day. It was impossible for him to keep up with breakfast items on a super busy day of the total eclipse weekend. Not a big deal as a complimentary breakfast isn't the point of the stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were not! Fortunately, I travel with one of my own. I reserved the room for three adults. There were two glasses, two cups and two sets of towels. What is the third person supposed to use? It's a pain to run to the front desk to get extras. It seems housekeeping could be aware of that night's reservations and leave amenities accordingly.

Checked in late and seemed to have annoyed the front desk clerk. Poor customer service. Hotel room had no hot water. Miserable stay but thank goodness it was just to get some sleep before traveling further.

It wasn't bad. Clean rooms, good service & good breakfast. My only complaint is the coffee....HORRIBLE!!! I'm not sure if their machine needs to be cleaned or replaced but that was the worst coffee I've ever tasted!

For the trip it was a good location. Rooms are run down and poorly fixed. They would be better off telling you they did not have breakfast than serve what they did

Our stay at the Red Roof Inn Dumas met our needs for a quick rest after a very long drive. The breakfast the next morning was woefully uninviting with stale bread, unappetizing choices, and undrinkable coffee. The staff was kind, however, which was great.

My family was disappointed in this stay. Room and bathroom were not clean. I know we only sleep there but it was not good seeing cockroaches in our room. Bed sheets and pillow cases yellow and stained. Room smelled terrible. I’m not a complainer. But our first stay in Texas was not good. Disappointed.

Our door would not lock. The floor was filthy and a dirty pair of socks were by the bed and they were not ours. The sheets had stains but at least looked clean. It appeared to be mold growing on the wall by the ceiling. It was kinda scary being a single women with kids.

It was a place to sleep. The bead was comfortable and clean. However, it took over an hour to cool down the room enough to try to sleep. The air conditioning was OFF when we got in the room, and it was stifling hot in there! The water, however, was not! It was lukewarm at best. Also, the bathroom was dirty. There was still makeup on the sink and a GRAPE on the sink from whoever had stayed in there previously! I don’t wear makeup, so I know it wasn’t mine! The linen was clean, and the shower appeared clean. I would not stay there again for what I paid. With the air conditioning situation, the cleanliness, and the low quality breakfast, I would have chosen a different hotel for the cost! The girl at the counter was super nice, so at least there is that.
