The Crescent always has been one of our favorite properties anywhere. The building itself is, of course, legendary. The service is legendary as well! From wine tastings, to ghost tours, to just hanging out at the pool, it’s our go to spot for a few days away!!

We were there on a family trip, including my 14 year old grandson. The hotel was similar to a resort and provided so many great activities. We went swimming/hot tub, axe throwing, promenade tour, and ghost tour, just to name a few. I liked how we got alerts on the different activities throughout the day. We enjoyed s’mores and listening to a live band on the back lawn too. It was all great!

Beautiful as always, plenty to do if you want to. Spa was better than it’s ever been- and it’s always been good. The elevator was on the fritz during check in- plenty of assistance carrying luggage up, but be prepared to hike the stairs to your room if it’s not working

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. Restaurant was understaffed but staff they had worked hard and were very positive and friendly. Hot tubs were not hot, one needed maintenance it wouldn't get warmer than 94°.

The Rooms and hotel need maintenance, tub had paint 3 and 4 inch paint chip's in the bottom of the tub. Rooms were very dirty with stains on carpets. However staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Grounds were beautiful.

I have stayed at the Crescent numerous times over the years, including holidays. The staff is always helpful and efficient. The facility, although old is well-maintained and kept clean. The rooms are nice and updated yet maintain the Victorian charm. Our room was spacious and although we had a smidge issue getting the AC to stay on once we got it figured out it worked great! Room was very quiet.

We love historical hotels, but his was a disappointment. The room wasn't super clean, but the globs of hair on the shower wall was gross. The heat/cool system was on the ceiling above the bed the remote control had no bearing on the temp. It was cold & we slept in our clothes! The tv turned on, but froze on one channel only - we were already in bed, it was late so we just endured until we could check our. We let the front desk know & showed pic from the shower.

The hotel is very old but she’s in great shape! Everything was clean and very comfy. The bed was so soft. We had a great stay for my birthday! We went during the week, so only one of the restaurants was open. We had the calzone. It was HUGE! Very well made and tasted great! We also did a ghost tour that evening. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We had a blast!

We really wanted to like it here. But it is EXTREMELY DIRTY, noisy, & outdated, unkept not historic. There is an overwhelming musty smell throughout. Almost fell on the crumbling stairs going to town. While the pizza n server were good, we kept noticing trash strewn about the floor. If you book expect must, dust, hairs, paint chips, nasty carpet & hot to cold surprise water shifts. Oh and the AC units r from 1971 n loud af. 10:00 quiet time beins at midnight. Sorry staff, hate to give to give poor reviews, but this place is a horrific dump. Clean it or close it. Spare others the agony.

I expected the place to look shabby. My husband and I did not expect the dirt. It was shockingly filthy, as if it never gets swept or vacuumed, and smelled bad in places. The bed was hands down the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered in a hotel, with a big divot in the middle that was impossible not to fall into. Neither of us could sleep. We were chewed up by insects in the room. The room was dark (inadequate lighting), small, musty, the bathroom was mildewed and the toilet constantly ran. The ceiling fan was unbalanced, and thus LOUD and tilted at an alarming angle over the bed. The window AC unit barely functioned. The shower water ran hot and cold, the towels stank. We ate at the overpriced restaurant on site. The couple next to us ordered the lobster pasta. I tried to do the same. The waitress told me she was pulling the dish from the menu. Then she walked over to the other table and took their half eaten plates away. They left after their meal was comped. She is my hero since she apparently saved me from food poisoning.Our stay was so bad we left at dawn to escape it. We have stayed at budget motels on interstate 40 that were better than this. Considering the price point, this is outrageous. My advice is to stay somewhere else when you are visiting Eureka Springs.

Room was so small door hit the bed. Duat ruffles dirty. Basboards had nit been dusted. Grout in the bathrooms was really bad. A 3 yr old grouted around the tub. Stopper wouldn't work. Historic doesnt nean dirty. No pride in rooms

The Crescent Hotel and Spa is so amazing! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help if you need something. My room was very clean and I highly recommend staying at this awesome hotel. I will most definitely be coming back!

It is a historic property on a nice site overlooking the town of Eureka Springs. But rooms are dated, very small bathrooms, noisy , poor dining and staff which is lacking hospitality. The place is famous for being haunted which may account for gloomy staff. Dining room open for breakfast only and opens late at 8am. No coffee service in smallish lobby.

I loved the view of nature from the hotel, but for he price the room was tiny and in bad condition. The elevator was so old it stopped working sometimes. I know it’s a historic site but it should be updated when charging high prices.

Hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were so nice and knowledgeable about the area. The floor in our room was extremely slanted so we slept trying not to roll into each other or get up in the night to use the restroom. There was construction beginning at 7am right outside our window. That was unfortunate. The food at Crystal Dining (breakfast) was not good. We expected the breakfast buffet to be over the top good and we barely ate. The pizza place was just okay and took 50 minutes to get four slices of pizza because they didn’t sell whole pizzas. The outdoor areas are great. Ghost tour was fun, too! We loved the town of Eureka Springs and will be back. Probably staying at a different location though.

I really love the hotel but the mattresses really need to be changed. They were so uncomfortable and my friend was in a literal body scoop on her mattress. My neck still hurts a few days later.

This stay was definitely unique, but I agree the hotel needs some upkeep. We also didn't have any water readily available to grab, we had to buy some in the vending areas. Our last night there, we had someone above us stomping and jumping from like 11pm-2am shaking out chandelier, so my husband, I, and our toddler did not get any sleep and were to drive 10 hours that day. Even though we found these things trying, the activities outside on their property were definitely fun (swings, giant chess, bocci ball, shuffle board), but those things need some upkeep as well as it is off season right now. Overall an ok stay, but probably wouldn't stay again in the future.

Room was nice but basic and not modernized at all. They do give you plenty of pillows and blankets. Only lighting in our room was the 2 lamps on bedside tables. Bathroom was nice and clean. But, we stayed herefor the historic and haunted aspect. Really loved that part of the hotel and it's so beautiful! I'd recommend staying here and be sure to take a ghost tour.

But, we stayed herefor the historic and haunted aspect. Really loved that part of the hotel and it's so beautiful! I'd recommend staying here and be sure to take a ghost tour.

What an incredible hotel with incredible history! It’s a beautiful place and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our first night was in room 318, which is apparently directly below the restaurant. Unfortunately it was pretty noisy at night until 11 pm so that made it tough to get to bed. And then at 2 am I was awakened to the sound of tables and chairs being moved around in the restaurant above. When I asked the front desk about the noise, they said that is when the cleaning crew comes in. I knew I couldn’t sleep with that noise so the front desk staff quickly moved me to a different room which was much quieter. We did the 10 pm ghost tour with Ollie. I highly recommend this tour! Ollie is the best tour guide ever ashes knowledgeable and entertaining! (We had met him earlier in the day on the Eureka Springs railroad trip…check it out…he does those tours too.). It’s a very dog friendly hotel too!

The staff is superb! Loved our stay and all that Eureka Springs has to offer. The Crescent is so unique and they have done a well with preserving, while keeping it as comfortable as possible. Be mindful the building is very old, so it has quirks. The extended ghost tour was a blast!

Check in was great, easy, and very informative; I forget the name of the girl who helped us. The server in the skybar was awesome and friendly, she offered a great customer service. Not so happy with the bartender; blond, fit guy with a beard. Earlier I had a few drinks at the bar and, for some reason, he decide to include the service fee to my check although I was only one person; I understand you usually add this to bigger parties. Maybe because I shared I was from another country, not sure I still left more a little more tips on top of what he added. Our server Erin for breakfast was awesome, very helpful, friendly, and efficient. I hope this is helpful; this is my third time in this hotel and I always have a good time.

I left the Crescent hotel have been going there for years and years to see parties and Christmas events and tons of stuff. I’d love to go tour, but I never actually had a chance to stay with it so this time I actually did and although I love the historical part of the Hotel there is a difference between historical and old falling down broken and should’ve been replaced long time ago. I was nice but they took two twin beds and put a divider in it to make it a king bed which is extremely uncomfortable and the sink my bathroom was chipped in the wood was riding, and it hadn’t been dusted , that could’ve been replaced a long time ago there’s only one tiny little trash can in the whole room and they play sit in the bathroom and what goes on with getting your roommate up now it’s something where you say you want servicing your room and they give you a basket outside your door that has towels in it but nobody makes the bed. Nobody changes the sheets. Nobody gets rid of the dirty towels. Nobody vacuums cleaned. Takes the trash out. I had to ask him three times for this and you know, I had exactly the same problem when I stayed at the basin park so maybe this is just something new that I’m gonna have to get used to certainly hope not that all is beautiful hotel, and I love the history of it and yes, it is very haunted and that’s just the best cool part about it.

We showed up late. My husband and i was on a motorcycle. We were wet and cold. Staff didn't even blink a eye. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. They even offer us a meal even though it was short notice.

We enjoyed our visit ( first!) to Eureka Springs AR and the Crescent Hotel. The room was larger than expected, very clean , (except for the grout in the shower around the tiles could use a good scrubbing), the staff was nice , and we enjoyed the ghost tour ! Outdoors they seemed to be working on a lot of areas so it was a bit in disarray... maybe getting ready for spring? There seemed to be a lot of stuff lying around in areas where the guests could go , but I am thinking usually this isn't the case hopefully, just a lot of work going on.... wanted to try the pool but we ran out of time. Maybe next trip! It is an old Victorian hotel so it has it's own uniqueness and isn't full of spiffy modern - ness of some hotels so you shouldn't expect it. But it has an ambiance of it's own and we liked it. Didn't encounter any ghosts but enjoyed hearing the stories, and meeting the current hotel cat, Jasper, who is 16. We visited Morris's gravestone outside the hotel; he is the ghost cat that is sometimes seen in the hotel. The crystal dining room was really nice for Breakfast; was not open for dinner the Thursday night we were there , so we found a place in town to eat. You can walk down to the town easily and the hotel shuttle picks you up on demand when you call, up til 10 pm; it was nice not to have to walk back up the steep hills after dark. Most of the shops were closed the thursday late afternoon/ evening we walked around; I imagine they would be open later weekends?

A wonderful step back in time. Staff is wonderful. Shuttle service to downtown Eureka was a great unexpected bonus! The hidden gem is the outside area (Frisco Club? I think)with a food truck and game area, complete with spiked snow cones.

The Crescent Hotel & Spa is beautiful and historic. It was an anniversary vacation for my wife & me. Very scenic, but it is challenging to negotiate the curves. (I couldn't have done it without GPS) It was worth the experience. The only problem was that the elevator was out of order, but we were on the 2nd floor.

This property is absolutely stunning and one of a kind! it was a little difficult to find, as I didn't realize it was on top of a hill, but certainly a hidden gym! The building is very well kept and staff is exceptionally friendly... looking forward to my Ghost tour later tonight! I was a little surprised that there were so many children running around the lobby since it is an older resort and spa without much for kids, but I am thinking that may be due to the ghost tours.

Classic old hotel in a terrific location. Sure, it's a little creaky, maybe a little leaky, but age has that effect on all of us. I walked up and down Howell St. and Crystal Terrace to visit the restaurants on Spring St., which is a great way to see the neighborhood and to work off the calories. And I always appreciated the resident feline management team that would greet me on my return. I paid a premium for a room with a balcony, and I don't regret it.

Spent our 2023 Thanksgiving holiday at the Crescent, and we enjoyed it. The hotel is super cool, and pretty spooky at the same time. The staff were very friendly and easy going. The room was nice, but I killed at least 30 big fat flies that seemed to find their way into our 4th floor room. It was a bit weird… but I guess it played into the haunted hotel theme… so we just rolled with it. The Crescent’s Thanksgiving Dinner was delicious! Definitely a must if you find yourself visiting over the holiday. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle made our daily excursions a breeze, and they will drop you off/pick you up wherever you want to go around the old downtown area. All in all, it was a nice getaway that was off the beaten path. Eureka Springs is a fun little town with lots of shopping and dining options, and we are already planning on returning to the Crescent with our adult kids for a visit with the family. If you want a nostalgic trip into the past, the Crescent is definitely recommended!

It is a historic property on a nice site overlooking the town of Eureka Springs. But rooms are dated, very small bathrooms, noisy , poor dining and staff which is lacking hospitality. The place is famous for being haunted which may account for gloomy staff. Dining room open for breakfast only and opens late at 8am. No coffee service in smallish lobby.

Hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were so nice and knowledgeable about the area. The floor in our room was extremely slanted so we slept trying not to roll into each other or get up in the night to use the restroom. There was construction beginning at 7am right outside our window. That was unfortunate. The food at Crystal Dining (breakfast) was not good. We expected the breakfast buffet to be over the top good and we barely ate. The pizza place was just okay and took 50 minutes to get four slices of pizza because they didn’t sell whole pizzas. The outdoor areas are great. Ghost tour was fun, too! We loved the town of Eureka Springs and will be back. Probably staying at a different location though.

Stayed April 21st after getting married that day. Our room was # 215. No clothes closet. No place to hang clothes. Morning of April 22nd around 8:30 am we went downstairs to eat breakfast at the Crystal dining room . There were only a few people at 4 other tables so they were not busy at all. The waitress seated us then came by a couple times saying she would be with us soon. We waited about 20 minutes, never received water or offer to even bring drinks. We finally left and went to the local McDonald’s! With the price that was charged I would expect better!

We enjoyed the history and ambiance of this hotel. The restaurants are a little pricey but good. If you go, stay more than one night. We will definitely go back for a longer stay to enjoy more of the amenities. If you want the ghost tour, make sure to choose the extended tour at 10pm

I expected the place to look shabby. My husband and I did not expect the dirt. It was shockingly filthy, as if it never gets swept or vacuumed, and smelled bad in places. The bed was hands down the most uncomfortable bed I have ever encountered in a hotel, with a big divot in the middle that was impossible not to fall into. Neither of us could sleep. We were chewed up by insects in the room. The room was dark (inadequate lighting), small, musty, the bathroom was mildewed and the toilet constantly ran. The ceiling fan was unbalanced, and thus LOUD and tilted at an alarming angle over the bed. The window AC unit barely functioned. The shower water ran hot and cold, the towels stank. We ate at the overpriced restaurant on site. The couple next to us ordered the lobster pasta. I tried to do the same. The waitress told me she was pulling the dish from the menu. Then she walked over to the other table and took their half eaten plates away. They left after their meal was comped. She is my hero since she apparently saved me from food poisoning.Our stay was so bad we left at dawn to escape it. We have stayed at budget motels on interstate 40 that were better than this. Considering the price point, this is outrageous. My advice is to stay somewhere else when you are visiting Eureka Springs.

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. Didn't know DT Eureka wasn't open yet for the season but still had a great time. The Sky Bar has the best pizza and the dining room's Stuffed French Toast was the bees knees. Will definitely be returning.

This hotel is so cool. It’s old so make sure you aren’t expecting modern amenities. They take great care of the property and it’s beautiful. We did the ghost tour as well and that was super fun! Great history of the hotel. I would not recommend the pizza place. Yuck. The service there sucks as well. 😫

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. Restaurant was understaffed but staff they had worked hard and were very positive and friendly. Hot tubs were not hot, one needed maintenance it wouldn't get warmer than 94°.

We had a wonderful time exploring the property and hearing the history. The staff went above an beyond before even asking. The food was excellent. The spa was relaxing. The best part was that we had something to do at the hotel at all times. While waiting for our next adventure, we were not just stuck waiting in our room. we visited with other guests, played games and relaxed in the many comfort areas in and around the hotel. A true resort.
