Holiday Inn Express Hotels & Suites Mountain Home by IHG

Kids liked the outside pool. Pull on couch was comfortable.

We stayed for 10 days visiting family. Staff was always wonderful and helpful, daily breakfast was good, hotel is clean. Only complaint is the beds weren’t very comfortable for a longer stay.

Had to move rooms 3 times. Ants in first room. They came in room and sprayed pesticide while I was out even though I had a sign on door. The smell was so bad it gave me a migraine. The housekeeper stated they had tried to get rid of them before. So they knew it was an issue. Second room had lady bugs and falling apart shown in pics. The second room was too small Also based on our needs at booking. Cold showers everyday. Front desk has no authority to do anything besides check in/out. No manager on duty. Would not even allow us a refund to check out early even though they had horrible issues. Could not check safe to see if there was my face wash left behind in one of the 3 moves. The breakfast was good and the lady in the food area was super sweet. Other than that the rest of the front desk staff was rude and not accommodating. Only saw a person if you rang a bell to receive service. At checkout they could not print a receipt since I book on hotels.com. First time I have ever experienced that when using this site. The confirmation number given by hotel is not recognized by IHG so I cannot post a review there. The was by far the worst Holiday Inn Express and Suites I have ever stayed and would not suggest it to anyone. I assume if you had no needs or complaints it would give you a place to sleep and a good breakfast. But if you need any additional assistance or have concerns you will leave mad and unsatisfied. I would book next door at Hampton Inn if I needed a place again.

Cleanliness and nice, helpful staff

Everyone was great. The room had a fine powder on the floor and the footprints of prior tenants were still all over the floor.

Overall a very nice day, no significant service issues. However, we were in room 302 and it was really quite noisy at times. There was some loud fan that was running all night and the other times that we could hear it sounded like it was right outside our door. Also, there were mechanical parts from some sort of air conditioner or some thing sitting right outside our door. Also, the Security latch on our door was broken off and had not been fixed and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom was wobbly and seems about to fall off of the wall.

The check-in clerk was polite and informative. The facilities in the room are very clean and seemed to be well maintained.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the noise from heavy walking in the room above our room at 4 am every morning. I won't stay on the first floor again.

Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone from the desk clerks to housekeeping was wonderful. Very welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

They did not have my reservation so I could not check in.

The service was great from check in to check out. Great breakfast, my room got upgraded cause of an issue with the room I booked, on site staff very helpful and polite.

Was quoted a price online. Reserved said room. When checking out made sure to get final bill. $142.07. Card was charged that day for that amount. Then next day it was changed to $152.09. Called them and asked why, 2 women didn’t have a clue. Said their receipt says $142.07 and that it wasn’t them and they don’t know why my bank charged me the extra… She even looked in the computer to see if extra charges were applied and there wasn’t.. hahaha. Like they aren’t the ones who literally charged my card that and trying to blame my bank!? Charged me the correct amount the first time and then another amount another time?? PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! Filing fraud with my bank!!! The “manager” was of no help and was the one blaming my bank for charging me more 😂 like what?
