Please reupholster the threadbare ottoman you see when first walking in the room! 1st impressions are everything. The mattress needs replacing, as it's sagging in the middle. The breakfast offerings were generous and well prepared. The only problem was the woman staffing the room had the volume on the TV at full blast, with the remote in her hand the whole time. We politely asked if she could turn it down, but not sure if it went down even a notch. Won't be staying here again.

The first room they gave us the TV and phone didn't work. No one on site knew how to troubleshoot. Since the in room phone didn't work, I kept having to go up and down the elevator (8 times in total) because the front desk attendant would ring the room knowing the phone was broke. I asked if we could switch rooms and she informed us it would cost us more if we did since the rate had changed since we originally booked. No way I was paying extra. I reached out to the Hotels.com chat and shared my circumstance. Customer support apparently reached out to Choice Hotels and shared the problem with them. Miraculously, they moved us to a different room only to discover the A/C didn't work. We went to bed sweating, but some time in the night decided to start working. Through all of this, I was only given a 15% discount on my bill. Bad service. Faulty amenities. A front desk attendant that couldn't expend the energy to come up to our room to communicate but required me to keep walking down there each time is why they get this review.

Weather was great. We arrived after 8pm. If you're checking in after 7pm make sure you call and let them know. We called beforehand and straightened it out. The property was very well maintained. We stayed in the fall so we didn't use the pool. The bed was amazing! I wanna go back just for that alone! I wasn't able to check out the breakfast because I had to be on the road early. All in all great place to stay and I would stay there again.
