One of our favorite resorts! We go every year! The rooms are a great size and the bathroom had a soaker tub and shower! The view was beautiful! We always have so much fun at the pool- especially the lazy river and slide (which sadly was broken this weekend). It's walkable to Kierland and the Quarter which has LOTs of shopping and food options!

Friendly staff, well maintained, central location, nice golf course with a Ping fitting Center on site, easy parking with no pass required to park, Starbucks on site, tempting dessert display every evening, relaxing lazy river for kids of all ages - recommended!

I was given incorrect info about the restaurants in the area and directions Pool staff didn’t help with tubes They were all on their phones. The slide was out of service. The room was very nice. Quiet and peaceful. Inside staff very nice. I have never received a final bill which I was told would be emailed. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

It was the off season, so the lobby bar and the scotch library were not open at all. That was a huge bummer. The outdoor Antidote bar was open but the outside temps at 108 degrees was just too hot for the outdoor bar. Also, the lazy river bar only being open on Saturdays was a bummer. Otherwise, the room was amazing, the views, the staff, the room service, all really REALLY great.

I liked that the resort had planned activities daily for children. Also loved having sporting events televised on a huge outdoor screen in the back courtyard area. There was nothing to think of that we did not like.

The property itself is really nice inside and out. Of course at a place like this they overprice just about everything so be prepared for the sticker shock of just about everthing. We went to the lazy river area which was pretty cool. Just know that outside public can pay for a pool pass here so it was pretty crowded with non hotel guests which is okay but would have been nice with less people around though. To get away from the kids at the other pools, they do have an adult only pool area which was nice and quiet. No outside service unlike the other pool area so that was a bummer but all in all it was a more peaceful experience. They have a gym that we used and it has the basics of what you would need for a good workout. It was clean and spacious. All in all it was good experience. The cons I would say is we did experience a little rude bartender guy at the pool. I think a little more cleanup around the pools after they close would be beneficial. We returned to the pool area early next morning as there was still trash from day before by the poolside. Lastly, forced to pay for parking is a bit much. Most other resorts ive been to do not make you pay for parking so thats a turn off for sure. All in all though, I'd recommend going here.

We loved how everything was within walking distance. We didn't need to drive anywhere after we arrived. Plenty of dining options close by and shopping as well. My husband enjoyed the golf course as well. It was pretty warm during the day so we enjoyed cooling off in the lazy river and pool area. The weather in the evening was perfect for outdoor dining. Overall great resort and we would love to come back sometime.

I really enjoyed the golf course and the shopping and dining close to the property. However the cleanliness wasn't up to par, our first room smelled and was dusty, we asked for a change of rooms and we were denied even though my daughter kept sneezing up a storm. I had to buy an air freshener to sleep at night because the smell kept me up. After our 5th night there, I finally called up the front desk at and requested a change of rooms because my family couldn't stand it anymore. We were offered a 100 dollar gift certificate which was a nice gesture but honestly our request should have been granted right away. The rooms in this hotel need a reno big time, my suggestion would be that they either replace all the carpets or have them steam cleaned on a regular basis. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the sheets on were supposed to be white had a yellow tinge.

the location couldn't be better. I booked an upgraded room with a view. when we checked in, in the midst of throngs of convention people, i asked if my view could be of the golf course. she said " no, we're really booked, as you can see, we have big conventions" so, we were taken to our room #1081 ( i think) it was the first room on the first floor right off this incredibly busy and loud lobby. it was an ADA room and the mattress was on the floor. the small window overlooked a stucco wall. i said no. we went back and the bellman took us to a second room.THAT room had yellow tape covering the balcony window saying "do not use" and the AC didn't work. it was also an ADA room again (?) again, i said no. the third room was acceptable. the BR sink was clogged but i was exhausted and i wasn't going to move again.

There was a conference at the hotel for this weekend, which made it very difficult to even get a cup of coffee or have the phone answered when we called with a problem. Our stay was not great because a) when we walked in the AC in our room was not working. We could not reach anyone by phone to get someone up there for quite some time when we finally did. They said they’ll send someone up when they can so we went to the pool, came back over four hours later and it was not fixed so we had to call again and I reached out to hotel.com to help me fix it. B) Waited in line for about 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the morning, c) Staff by the pool were grumpy and even rude. The moral of my review is; don’t stay there if a conference is taking place.

Enjoyed our stay here, the grounds and property themselves are beautiful. Conveniently located and they also offer a shuttle across the way to the Scottsdale Quarters which is very nice. The bathrooms are a bit outdated but the rooms are nice. We were also located on the 10th floor and every single morning plumbing noise / noises in the wall could be heard very loudly and clearly from our room close to the elevator. When we checked in the rep at the front desk did not explain anything to me about security deposits or the property. I didn’t love how they charged my card every single day with a resort fee for a pre authorization and then charged me the full amount at the end of the stay while still holding the authorization on my card. I wish this had been explained to me when checking in.

The property is nice, but lacks polish of a premium resort. The staff was pleasant. Our lower rating on the service is because the rooms weren’t cleaned until late afternoon and would’ve been better to have come back from a day at the pool to a clean room rather than someone knocking on the door around 4:30 in the afternoon. Of course on checkout day, they came knocking at 8:30am asking when we were leaving. Very nice staff but the schedule is strange. Our room was nice, however it was a Murphy bed and the walls are paper thin and our neighbors woke up around 5am with no regard for anyone including a few very loud x rated moments. Also, would not recommend being on the lobby level as people are going back and forth all night and walls are thin. We should have requested a move but we didn’t. We won’t be back. We usually stay at the fairmont Princess up the road but thought it would be nice to be close to Kierland Commons but I think we’ll stick to the Princess as the resort is a step up, they take care of the little details and do a morning service and evening turn down at predictable hours. This property is a good one if you are a dedicated Marriott rewards member with points to burn but I wouldn’t recommend paying for it when there are better options close by.

Our lower rating on the service is because the rooms weren’t cleaned until late afternoon and would’ve been better to have come back from a day at the pool to a clean room rather than someone knocking on the door around 4:30 in the afternoon. Everything was amazing except for our room. We had an engineer come and check out a/c and supposedly fix every time but room was hot. The hallway was cooler than our room. Did not get the problem fixed while we were there. You would think they would move you to another room but was not an option.

The Westin Kierland was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a conference at the hotel for this weekend, which made it very difficult to even get a cup of coffee or have the phone answered when we called with a problem. Our stay was not great because a) when we walked in the AC in our room was not working. We could not reach anyone by phone to get someone up there for quite some time when we finally did. They said they’ll send someone up when they can so we went to the pool, came back over four hours later and it was not fixed so we had to call again and I reached out to hotel.com to help me fix it. B) Waited in line for about 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the morning, c) Staff by the pool were grumpy and even rude. The moral of my review is; don’t stay there if a conference is taking place.

I booked two rooms. Treating my son daughter in law and granddaughter. My room was available theirs was not. I have charges to my credit card for food that was to be expected but my son was asked for his credit card and was also charged for food. He arrived late and left at 6 am. I am concerned we were both charged for the same food purchases which consisted of 2 cocktails at pool then morning two breakfast sandwiches and coffee. It is concerning because at check-in I was charged incidental for both rooms why did they need my son’s credit card? I want Westin to know when a family member books two rooms that family member is covering the room. No need to double dip the credit card pool. That’s not hosting a guest in my opinion.

The resort itself is beautiful, but our experience was HORRIBLE. I had never been here before and was really looking forward to a few days with my family after moving my son into his college apartment. Unfortunately, from the start, it was a nightmare. The room I originally booked through Hotels.com was not honored. I was told that the room “did not exist” and they tried to blame Hotels.com for the issue. Instead, they offered to sell me an upgrade, but then said it wouldn’t be available until the next day. When it finally became available, I was shocked to see it was the exact room I had booked in the first place, but now they charged me an additional $75 per night. It was very clear they treat guests differently if you book through a third party. On top of that, the resort hits you with endless, ridiculous fees. I expected to pay a resort fee, but they nickel-and-dimed us for everything. Yes, they gave us a $100 credit, but it barely made a dent after all the extra charges. The only highlight was the food, which was fantastic. Sadly, that was the only positive. After such a stressful and disappointing experience, we will not be returning.

Every time we went to a restaurant, restaurant was closed, hours are not listed on their in room tv., wanted to try the desserts at The Rim, found out it is only on Friday & Saturday nights even though it’s noted nightly on the in room tv. We will not be going back. There were more, cannot list all.

I really enjoyed the golf course and the shopping and dining close to the property. However the cleanliness wasn't up to par, our first room smelled and was dusty, we asked for a change of rooms and we were denied even though my daughter kept sneezing up a storm. I had to buy an air freshener to sleep at night because the smell kept me up. After our 5th night there, I finally called up the front desk at and requested a change of rooms because my family couldn't stand it anymore. We were offered a 100 dollar gift certificate which was a nice gesture but honestly our request should have been granted right away. The rooms in this hotel need a reno big time, my suggestion would be that they either replace all the carpets or have them steam cleaned on a regular basis. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention the sheets on were supposed to be white had a yellow tinge.

The Westin did not disappoint, absolutely amazing hotel, grounds and service. All walkable to shopping and restaurants. The pools and lazy river were so nice and the staff did an amazing job especially in the heat. I want to call out the gentleman at the front desk who helped my daughter remove a cactus stinger and cleaned it and sent us off with smiles. This was an amazing girls weekend celebrating my daughters graduation and we will be back! 5 stars all around.

One of our favorite resorts! We go every year! The rooms are a great size and the bathroom had a soaker tub and shower! The view was beautiful! We always have so much fun at the pool- especially the lazy river and slide (which sadly was broken this weekend). It's walkable to Kierland and the Quarter which has LOTs of shopping and food options!

We loved how everything was within walking distance. We didn't need to drive anywhere after we arrived. Plenty of dining options close by and shopping as well. My husband enjoyed the golf course as well. It was pretty warm during the day so we enjoyed cooling off in the lazy river and pool area. The weather in the evening was perfect for outdoor dining. Overall great resort and we would love to come back sometime.

We had our annual girls trip here this year and it was perfect! Memorial Day weekend is very busy! We stayed until mid week so we did have a few quiet days. The hotel is beautiful. All the staff seemed friendly and welcoming. Plenty of room to move around. Very close to shops and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel!

The property's grounds are beautiful, the Keirland mall is next door within walking distance and has nice shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself needs a renovation in the rooms, lobby, and the restaurants are below grade for this type of hotel. I think there is only one main dining room that is blah. The coffee bar is nice but needs a facelift. The lounge needs a complete renovation and some music.

It was the off season, so the lobby bar and the scotch library were not open at all. That was a huge bummer. The outdoor Antidote bar was open but the outside temps at 108 degrees was just too hot for the outdoor bar. Also, the lazy river bar only being open on Saturdays was a bummer. Otherwise, the room was amazing, the views, the staff, the room service, all really REALLY great.
