Red Roof Inn Detroit Metro Airport - Taylor

Room was clean.Parking was ok. Staff was helpful. Television did not work well. Also there was not a remote in the room to use the tv. had to get assistance from the desk for that. No hand soap in the soap dispenser. No alarm clock and no desk phone, so if we did not have a cell phone it would have been difficult to set an alarm and contacting the main desk or more importantly the 911 emergency line for issues.

Room was clean, only exception was that there were 2 used washcloths that were still in the bathroom hanging on the shower rack. Besides that, room was very clean.

Room overall was clean didn't have no body soap they need to check every time somebody else uses it maybe a person used a lot outside parking lot with a mess cigarette butts all over the place Q-tips garbage

The late night staff on Monday 3/16 was very friendly. Unfortunately i did not get their name but i appreciate t/help i received. The room was clean & comfortable as well 😌 Thx Taylor MI RedRoof

Bizarre check in process: they force you to leave a $50 cash deposit at the front desk before you even get your room key. Once I arrived to my room, I noticed there was no blanket on the bed, only sheets. I phoned the front desk, and she brought me a blanket. When I went to lay down on the bed, I noticed there were hairs on the sheets. Whatever, I was tired, I just let it be and decided to sleep. There was a crinkly plastic mattress cover under the fitted sheet. Oh my god. It made my sleep so hot and uncomfortable. Then, when I wake up in the morning, I have a shower. I go to dry my hair, but there is no hair dryer. I phoned the front desk and asked if they had one. They informed me that none of the rooms have hair dryers. What? So, I have to go out in near freezing temperatures with wet hair? That's crazy. To top it off, there were druggies and low lives loitering all over the property. I suppose they live at this hotel, I don't know. I would never return to this hotel.
