A Victory Inn Tolleson

Easy parking , safe ,

The staff was pleasant, room was clean, good cable channels. I love the easy parking. There are lots of people roaming around the outside the Inn. And could be better towels.

It was reasonable for one night. The bathroom was kind of nasty. Had unfinished walls and bugs crawling around. The rest of the room was fine. Loved that they had parking for semi trucks.

I was given room 304. First attempt keys did not work so had to walk back to reception to get new keys - on entering the room the smell was not nice. Smelt like rotten chicken - the smell did not dissipate. I had to get some work done. I was given the WIFI pass code at reception. The WIFI signal would go from full strength to zero every 2o - 30 seconds. I could not get a stable connection. Fortunately I had 5G from my phone personal hot-spot so used that instead. Shower head was 9 feet above the bath so had to reach up to get the stream on me instead of the wall - who keeps the shower head that high? At least there were no cockroaches!

The room was nice and clean. No smell of cigarettes (as mentioned in earlier reviews). We were surprised at the lack of basic amenities (e.g., no coffee maker, no fridge, no closet for hanging clothes). It was a very busy weekend in Phoenix and Victory Inn was the cheapest play by far.

On the website, this place promises a pool and continental breakfast, two of the reasons we chose it. The pool was closed with a padlock nand we were told they hadn’t offered breakfast since 2020 (three years! Plenty of time to update the website) The biggest issue is that this place did not feel safe. There was a huge row of truckers very nearby, a nice car in the parking lot missing tires, people milling around the parking lot at all ours and every Uber driver who picked us up told us that it was not safe to be there. We got in very late from our flight (1 am) and the front desk staff demanded cash deposit and ID for my child. Maybe that was a blessing so they could confirm she wasn’t being trafficked?! Then they weren’t sure if there was someone in our reserved room — someone new has worked that morning and they didn’t know if it was occupied. They had security take us to our room. This was unnerving, like someone might come into our room at some point because of their lack of organization. The room didn’t have hairdryers, refrigerators, microwaves or other things it promises on its website either. These things would have made our stay more convenient.

Hotel was so-so… “free wifi” didn’t work… called front desk and was told it doesn’t work in the building they put me in… was told it would be working in 15 mins… did not work at all the whole time I was there. Wifi password: VICtory-Guest-1520–* Most likely not coming back.

This basic motel is used by truckers, so there are no amenities in the rooms like coffee machines, hair dryers, a closet to hang up clothes…. The bottom sheet on the bed was too small for the bed and was not a fitted sheet.

Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Filthy carpet. Not even vacuumed. Bathtub gross. Bed was ok. Just a gross, dirty place. 167 bucks to sleep in a room so filthy that I wore flip flops to avoid walking on the floor.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was filthy dirty and run down, bathtub had rust all over it and the water ran nonstop. $160 a night for this place is outrageous. Thank goodness I had pillows and blankets in my car to use because the bed was nasty. Dont recommend this place at all

Staff was nice enough but the conditions were gross. Someone’s hair on toilet bowl, dripping water, stained bed and towels.

Checked into room that was not serviced. Got another room, toilet leaked on floor everytime it was flushed, cockroaches, rude staff. There's nothing good about this place.

There was cockroaches in my room and under my sheets.

Awful! Not even look like the picture they presented. All furnitures outdated, carpet dirty, comforter on bed stained and had cigarette burns. People running in and out, dog howling all night, sirens of cops going by all night. Horrible! Did not sleep all night. I do not recommend anyone sleeping here. It’s getto.

Absolutely the worst hotel we ever stayed. The nonsmoking room smelt smoke bad like someone had been smoking till a few minutes ago. My eyes and throat was started to hurt after 10 minutes. The hallway was dirty and looked like never paint or maintained for years. Trash and dirt all over the carpet. The room was the same way. Rusted bathroom fixtures, dust on the wall by the exhaust fan. Huge brown stain on the nightstand. The bed had a thin old blanket but no cover or duvet. No dryer, or coffee maker that the website stated. We were too tired to request to change rooms since probably all their rooms were the same. We checked out very early the next morning to find out the area was full of druggies, hookers, and homeless. Never ever stay there again especially if it charges us over a hundred dollars!

Everything was okay. Obviously the less you pay the less likely the place will be the best but it was okay. My only real complain is that the lobby is hot the room is hot but rř

Walls very thin, I could hear noises from rooms surrounding me. There was no closet or area to hang my clothes. Furniture was nice. Towels were disappointing for a room costing this much-

It was ok expected there was no cold water to shower water was super hot water but everything else was good..

Non smoking room still smelled like smoke… disappointed that no blow dryers in the room. Just a basic room I guess ok for the price

Instant creepy vibes from this place. The buildings were old and there were “no visitors” signs taped up everywhere. The sink had the last guest’s beard shavings and the bathtub was dirty. There was a gap between the wall and my door. Street noise was extremely loud and the AC didn’t work. I felt so sketched out that I had to leave and book another hotel at a chain hotel.

Rooms upgraded but still a lot of things that need replacing. Bathroom door was horrendous. Tried everything to get hot water in shower but got only slightly warm.

Front desk accuses me of being in another room... manager takes my ID Back to front desk to check another guest check in in another room under my name....

ive been staying at this hotel off and on for a few years now. the hotel is a little older, but everytime i stay here, im left at peace. everything in my room works front desk girls are super nice .

Staff were very nice

Im from Phoenix and was driving home to see family and decided to get a room. Front desk wouldn't let me use a bathroom while I waited to check in after a long drive. No directions to my room other then pointing in a northern direction, good luck on a big hotel.

Checking in went smooth, they even let me check in early. They were very helpful and it wasnt crazy overpriced. Will definitely stay here again if i am in the area.

Worst experience ever!! Check in took over an hour. Extremely rude staff that didn’t know what they were talking about, trying to double charge my card. When we finally checked in we were given a room that wasn’t even clean. Hair on the bed and in the shower; no towels, no hand soap, nothing and there was make up all over the pillow cases and sheets. Front desk could care less when it was brought to their attention.

Dirty and unsafe.

There is a lot of homeless people around this location. Felt very unsafe walking to cafe next to hotel. Would not recommend.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here after a concert just down the road. When we arrived there where prostitutes walking around. It made my girlfriend feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Once we entered our room there were semen stains all over the blankets and smelled terrible. Safe to say I will never stay at this hotel again

It is definitely affordable and location is convenient. Restaurants and gas stations near by that are walking distance.

It was a deplorable inn. It was dirty dingy and decrepit. It is unsafe there was noise all night. It felt very unsafe

Hotel is located off the main road no security measures worked the facility was run down and checking area had only ice machine. Check in lobby smelled of mildew and cigarettes. Staff was somewhat friendly but the odd random characters that were allowed to loiter and hang around made my spouse worry. Definitely a cheap place to stay in comparison to the surrounding areas but would not recommend this as a place to stay if possible

NOT WHAT WEBSITE DESCRIBED!!! NO BREAKFAST, NO COFFEE! Vending machines had snacks, water, pop tarts, ect. HOWEVER: staff was friendly.

Staff are great, room didn't have micro/fridge, maintenance brought both. I stayed in the West bldg. Bed is very good, slept great and it's quiet. Really no amenities like coffee, blow dryer, Kleenex and no place to hang clothes. There's a QT on the corner for the coffee. It's you basic room and I think a little more than what I expected because the bed is very comfortable, really happy about that.
