Check in was really easy she was wonderful and polite. The room was clean and looked just like the pictures which is always nice. The pool was wonderful. Hot tub was wonderful clean or easy to access. We loved everything about it.

Perfectly located for the Grand Canyon. Room and facilities were very clean. Pool was heated and hot tub was great. Also close to drive through animal park. Price was good. Could have used some repairs on the facilities. Staff was super nice.

Very dingy rooms. Queen beds - I don't think so!!! No elevators, definitely not a hotel for anyone with any walking handicap!

Quieter area of town but just off Route 66 strip which has lots of late night shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Pool and hot tub well maintained and rooms were clean. Continental hot waffle breakfast included with extremely friendly staff. Ample front parking.

Great hotel for the price. Room was clean. Its only 2 blocks to the downtown area with restaurants, pubs, and shops. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice.

Property was reasonably clean and staff was reasonably responsive and are nice people, however: - Giant hole in the ceiling above the not-heated hot tub - Exterior door locks purposely disabled. - Safe out of order - locking bars on both of our rooms were removed. No theft while we were there, but still made us nervous.

The pool area was run down and hot tub dirty there was a hole in the ceiling with insulation hanging out. The carpets were dingy. The coffee (included with breakfast) was like weak tea. Worst coffee we’ve ever had. Management blamed it in Howard Johnson saying they have no control over coffee No extra blankets available. Poor service. They didn’t try to please customers at all. Doors to outside were unlocked even though swipe pads beside them. Don’t recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised . The hotel looked very fresh and clean. breakfast was more than just "continental" very good. Staff was friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendation for restaurant. would surely stay here again!

Everything was nice and clean

The towels were ripped and fraying. Refrigerator didnt work. Breakfast was sugar cereal sugar donuts and waffles with sugar syrup and cheap processed white bread for toast. Very unhealthy. Doors to building were damaged and did not lock. Felt uncomfortable. Bathroom wall had brown splatter by toilet. Disappointing 😞

Room had sticky stuff all over the floor. Ruined our socks. Bathroom had hair all over it. Front desk person was on a loud phone call right across the hall from our room 11pm -2am. Breakfast was horrible. Boxed donuts and cinnamon rolls. Horrible coffee with only half and half and sugar. Just extremely old, run down, and cheap.

There was used soap on the shower, stains on towels ,mildew caked up on shower head ,and missing paint that had been covered by pictures placed unevenly on walls .Worst stay ever

The blinds had what looked like dried ketchup, salsa or blood on them, as well as the walls, the room looked nothing like the website and was super outdated, and it smells like mold in the bathroom

Had cockroaches in the bathroom. Dirty and dusty carpets. Location is decent.

I booked this because usually Howard Johnson hotels aren’t too bad and because they have a hot tub ( plus the great price). It is an okay place to stay for a night if you can tolerate noise. The walls must be very thin because I heard every footstep on my floor and above me and sometimes startled me. It took me a couple of hours to fall asleep. Otherwise, the hotel is just okay. You can tell it’s old. The bed was fine and the shower was nice.

Service was great from staff, but room was dark, dusty, and overall just didn’t feel fresh and clean. Breakfast options were very limited. Pool and hot tub appeared dirty enough that our kids chose not to get in.

It was okay. Beds weren’t very comfy …it was ok for only sleeping and being gone all day.

Ac in room didn't stay cold and made noise keeping us awake

The property is located within 15 minute walk to the 66th route tourist street in Williams off the highway. However, service at check in was awkward as no one was there and no bell to call anyone. Then once arrived was not pleasant on check in. Room was ok except the very squeaky bed. Even pull ing a sheet at one corner it would squeak. The heating/AC unit put out lukewarm heat at most.

Walls and floors were paper thin. Could hear everything. Kept rolling off the lopsided bed all night. Was woken up just after 4:00am with weed permeating throughout our room and the hallway. We left then because weed triggers my migraines. Breakfast was available at that time so I don’t know how good it was or wasn't. We had to waste more money on buying breakfast. We had called the front desk and the worker was either high or asleep. Said he'd check us out but didn't. We had to call later and the lady lied saying we had been already checked out. She checked us out though, just in time to not get charged an extra night. Stinks to not get a full night sleep due to noise and weed. They say they charge $250 for weed/smoke. It seems unlikely they care, especially if they're the one's smoking it. If there's a fee for smoke, do I get a refund for having to leave early because they won't enforce their own rules? Ridiculous. Otherwise rooms were clean, just outdated and rundown.

The room was clean. There’s a lot of wear and tear stuff that could be upgraded such as the TV, the carpeting, and the furniture(sm. dresser, tv entertainment center, and table). The front desk was helpful and attentive whenever we requested anything. Within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and gas stations. Good experience overall.

The staff was very nice. The hotel needs renovations. They never came and cleaned the room or give us new towels. The frig and microwave was convenient and worked good. You get what you pay for. Nice location to downtown Williams.

We stayed at this hotel for five days, and they didn't service it.

In general, the hotel was no frills but adequate. If I had no further contact with them after I checked out, I would have given a higher rating because it was a decent value-just very basic. However, I left a very sentimental pair of earrings in the room (they were my mom’s who just passed away)—of course I called as soon as I realized I had not put them on before I left. To say the gentleman who answered the phone was unhelpful is an understatement. Basically he couldn't care less and didn't want to be bothered. He didn't want to know my room number or where I left them (I knew exactly where they were in the room) he just said they had not been turned in. When I asked if someone could go look, he said someone else was already in the room (not sure how he knew that since he didn't take time to check anything). The sad thing is I originally booked with this location because the person who was at the front desk when I called to ask some pre-booking questions was amazing (I think her name was Yvonne) but this guy had zero customer service ability and made an already upsetting situation100x's worse with his indifference. If he had even pretended to care or given me some assurance that they would make an effort to look for them, it would have gone a long way. Instead I was told to call back the next day in case housekeeping had “forgotten” to turn them in. My fault for leaving them, obviously, but a little kindness would have gone a long way.

The property refused to accommodate me for an early check-in at noon instead of 3:00 without a $30 fee! Rooms were ready, they wouldn’t incur any cost, and I was a repeat guest. They still insisted on the charge even though I explained my situation when making my request. I desperately needed a few hours sleep after traveling since 2:30 am and needing to leave by 4:00 for a speaking engagement. Then, I was unable to sleep because of young children running back-and-forth loudly in the hallway. (The hotel was full of families with young children for riding William’s famous Polar Express that evening). The hotel could have cautioned me beforehand or dropped the fee afterwards. The staff showed no empathy nor offer any consideration despite my $30 being clearly wasted. I won’t stay there again after being treated that way as a hotel guest.

We were so happy to find a very friendly, positive front desk staff, and then a very clean and comfortable room. Our car broke down and they were so helpful to support us, and offered our room again. They helped connect my husband and myself. They went beyond the normal to excellent!

Nice place with easy access to downtown walking or the Train to Grand Canyon. Watch out for the hair dried it’s easy to get burned

Clean, quite, and comfortable. Perfect place if taking the train to the Grand Canyon. The train depot is 2 blocks away. Several places to eat within walking distance.

Great bed and pillows, lots of hot water for tub,never made it to breakfast, never used small pool inside or hot tub.Had a nice stay. An hr drive from the South Rim. Good location near eateries and shop and near majpr highway. Clean:-)

The locations was excellent to take the train to the Grand Canyon and 3 blocks to Route 66. Lots of parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very poor-all sugar laden and no protein.

Only issue we had was the breakfast. No eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, bagels or cream cheese. Only hot item was a waffle.

This was a clean room. We stayed 2 nights but there was no room service unless you went to the front desk to request it. It was quiet at night so that was a plus. Breakfast was disappointing. No eggs, meat, yogurt or fruit - just waffles, toast, cereal & muffins. Breakfast area was very small.

Pleasant stay with a great location as we explored the Grand Canyon and Williams area. Close to many dining options on old Route 66 and the Grand Canyon Railroad. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast choices were just fair. There were no protein options such as boiled eggs or yogurt. No fruit. Pastry choices seemed stale. Please purchase a couple luggage carts! It would have made life so much easier!

Books 4 rooms one night for Grand Canyon trip. Comfortable enough but old, need some reno and clean up around property. We are senior group so I asked for ground floor rooms coz no elevator. Free continental breakfast is limited. Wish there are yogurt and boiled eggs.
