Motel 6-Anaheim, CA - Convention Center

There are new owners. Property was clean. However they charge a deposit which I was told was going to be refunded to me when I checked out but I still have not received it and it went through on my credit card as an actual charge and I paid for my room in advance to staying.

Pros: Incredibly nice and hospitable staff, easy parking, good-sized fridge and microwave in room. Cons: The water in the shower was tepid at best every time I used it (I stayed 3 days) and contained only a small tube of shampoo and small bar of soap with 2 towels that are the size I would normally only use to dry my hair. I was easily able to get more child-sized towels from one of the cleaning ladies, but c'mon folks. 1 small towel per person? An adult human sized towel seems pretty standard, and 2 towels per person also doesn't seem unreasonable as a starting amount. It's a Motel 6 so I guess this is the level of amenities we should expect, but I didn't think a hot shower should be an amenity. I would say this place is great for a night, but if you're staying multiple days, you should consider a pricier option.

I wish there was a coffee maker in the room. That would just be the cherry on top. Oh, and a rack to hang my clothes.
