Nice hotel. There’s no restaurant in the hotel and the coffee shop didn’t appear to be open in the morning . I loved that I had a couch and it was comfortable ! The fist floor hallway can be a little loud at times but it was fine late at night. The shower has half a door (a very modern look) but the water gets onto the floor in the bathroom. I liked that it had a mini-fridge , Nespresso , and microwave. The pool looked very nice and clean but I didn’t go in. There’s no hot tub. The bed was very comfortable. There’s restaurants and Trader Joe’s within walking distance. Parking is $15/night.

This is an OK hotel, good location and nice pool. We have stayed here a few times but it's getting a little tired. The bar is rarely open.

The hotel needs another ice machine. There is only one ice machine in the basement which is broken. Additionally, the lock to the hotel room was very fickle. We had to play with it in order for it to lock when leaving the room.

Property is in good condition. Hallways look like a cruise ship. We stayed two nights. So for time they don't clean room unless you ask. Asked for clean towels and they were sent to our room upon request. Parking is very tight. Along with parking a movie was filming on property. Would have been good to have a heads up but what do you expect. It's Los Angeles. Good experience overall. They have a restaurant but there are enough shopping and dining places around the area within walking distance. Nice safe area to stay.

The elevator did NOT work- myself and other guests got stuck 2 times on it!

The property is close to dining and shopping. Easily walk to coffee shops or dining. Does not include a hot tub but has a clean pool with great seating area

The location and the actual room was great. I loved where it is located and it’s walking distance to a nice shopping area and restaurants. The room was exactly what the pictures posted looked like. The staff was friendly. However, complimentary breakfast? Not a thing here even thou that is what I booked. The gym? That is not a gym. The picture made it look bigger and it’s so so small. I had to pay for a weekly pass to a local gym to workout. Also, the cleanliness of the fitness center and the areas were not the best. There were dead bugs that hadn’t been swept away for the entire week. The elevator was extremely slow and waited a long time. They have a printer area that I had To use and it didn’t work. However, the lady at the front desk helped me out. Because I boom The hotel based on the gym, I would not stay here. My feedback, post pictures that are more realistic to what the place looks like and be SPECIFIC on complementary breakfast as there is no breakfast. Thank you

The staff were very helpful, stained carpets in room, nice location, convenient to restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

Nothing special. The pictures make the hotel look a lot nicer than it is. We stayed in room 222. A previous guest must have colored their hair red in our room because there was red hair dye splattered in the shower, on the walls, and on the ceiling. The white hair dryer was dyed red and never cleaned. At first we thought it was blood! The front desk claimed they could deliver sushi to our room, but when we tried to put the order in, they weren't offering sushi. We were only here for one night, so we made the most of it. Also don't buy water from the lobby, it is overpriced. If you have an empty bottle, just go fill it up in the gym at the water cooler.

The room was comfortable and clean. Would come back again. Staff is great. Appreciate that it's dog friendly.

The absolute worst hotel stay I have ever had in my life. I arrive at the hotel around 10pm. There are dead bugs on the side of the bed and no towels in the bathroom. I personally go downstairs to the front desk to get towels. I go out the next day and come back. Room not cleaned and still dead bugs on the floor next to the bed. I call downstairs and was told that I had to specifically request cleaning. Still no towels. I request cleaning. Next morning, no water from 10am to 4pm in the entire hotel. They claim they were fixing the boiler. Still no towels and till dead bugs. Next day, no hot water, no towels, and still dead bugs in the room. No cleaning although I specifically requested cleaning like I was told to do. I finally get moved to another room the last night of my stay.

Clean and quiet

The hotel complex had a lot of potential. Parking was an absolute nightmare. The spots were so small that most people had to park double which created a problem for a parking for others. Our room was good size and pretty cute, but it was extremely dirty. There was a little round carpet under the table that was so gross. It actually smelled. The sink had this rancid smell of sulfur and it was so dirty that it smelled up the whole room, I asked three different times if somebody could come take a look and nobody ever addressed it Was just really filthy. The room just overall didn’t seem like it had been cleaned Well there was mold in the shower. The beds were comfy and there was a lot of space to move around.

We’ve stayed here before and it was exceptional. This time around was far from it. A lot of poor cleanliness and upkeep of the room was totally preventable with proper care. We had to move rooms 2 times during our check in. We have kids and we were exhausted from a long road trip.we had to move rooms due to windows being left open and bugs were flying and crawling everywhere in the rooms. There’s no screens on the windows. And there’s AC. So there was no need for the cleaners to leave windows open for bugs to run about. Secondly The floors and rugs were disgusting. We asked for our room to be swept out multiple times to avail. The rugs have stains. The rooms also need to be mopped but that may be asking them for too much. On our last day we had to change rooms again due to finding a couple grasshoppers hopping around when we returned from dinner. We love coming to calabasas and hope they hotel does better next time

The air conditioning in the room was broken for about half of my stay and I had to reach out to front desk multiple times to get it fixed. The room was at a steady 80 degrees and it was very uncomfortable

Super noisy. No bar , no restaurant as advertised. Streaming terrible.

The air conditioning in the room didn’t work - I had it on full blast and the room got *hotter* over the course of three hours. I tried calling the front desk and was on hold for ten minutes and no one picked up. I couldn’t sleep either night due to the heat. Additionally, the remote control for the tv wasn’t working. I couldn’t exit or return to menu or turn the volume down or even turn the tv off on the second night. I had to unplug the tv just to turn it off and go to sleep. Vert disappointed in it. It looks nice and is well-furnished and designed but the substance is poor.

Alot of highway noise. But the room was clean and the bed was comfy. For a single night stay it was fine.

Everything was clean and new. You could smell the fresh paint on the walls, and you could smell that the hardwood floors were new. The only problem we experienced, was because of the hardwood floors in the hallways and rooms, you could hear EVERYTHING!! We stayed in a hotel room where the window was right next to the freeway and you could barely hear the cars going by unless it was a big truck or a motorcycle. You may want to invest in a few area rugs and canvas paintings to put in the rooms and hallways to help muffle and absorb the sound.

2nd stay, FD staff are wonderful. Only gripe is the shower has no door and the floor gets soaked.

Overall great hotel. Staff was super friendly. check in was nice and quick. The room was comfy and spacious and well maintained. The beds were pretty comfy. Honestly the only negative I have was the shower water pressure kind of sucked. BUT it did get nice and hot☺️ the pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but was well maintained as well as the lounge area around it.would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. My dbl queen size room (with a hide-a-way in the smaller sofa) was spacious. Lots of room. Only issue i saw was the door handle being loose on the barn door-style bathroom door. Microwave and small fridge are nice to have as well. Friendly staff as well. Would stay again when in the area.

The room was on the highway and noisy, some of the lights did not work and the kitchen was closed. No alternative offered.

As so many people have said the early check in fee was demanded if I wanted to get in 10 minutes early. I was greeted by 2 very unhappy staff at the desk. Common issue with noise - no carpets and loud people in corridors. Smell of dope everywhere. Expensive parking charge considering location. Shame as was good place for hotel and all above easily fixed.

Front staff was exceptional! Waived my early check and parking cause I got a flat tire and my car was in the shop for two day. They were lovely! My only complaint is that the executor is extremely slow and there’s only one :) other than that! Amazing!

Every time I stay there there seems to be an issue with the air conditioning and heating. I will wake up in the middle of the night with the steaming hot room and no air conditioning. They’re slow on service, and Check can take up to a half an hour cause there’s one person at the desk. I’m not exaggerating.

I have stayed at this hotel twice, and both times my experience was excellent. the hotel is very nice, and the staff are always kind, professional, and dedicated. I highly recommended this place.

The receptionist Ashley was the best receptionist I have encountered in the 11 years of traveling all over. She was extremely helpful and very caring for my family. The property is nice and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Close to the 101. The area was quiet and near shopping centers. We did not eat there but the breakfast is served fresh. Parking was pretty easy with the daily payment included in the deposit for the stay.

I did not like that there was a daily parking fee of $15 to park in their lot. Especially, since I already was a paying customer for a room and stayed for more than a couple of nights. They should waive the parking fee as parking should be complimentary. They don't offer free coffee or optional continental breakfast. Otherwise, I appreciated the offer for a quieter room. Housekeeping only came to make your room when you wanted. They were very polite and expedient in bringing extra towels, bedding, or tp.

We never stayed there. The man at the front desk was so rude. We left and went to the marriott warner center. I have stayed there before. I was recommended to the anza. We thought we would try something new. Never again. The rudest person i have ever met. I felt so unwelcome. First time in my 70 years. This has happened to me.

I arrived and received the worst service I’ve ever received. I feel like I was demoted and punished rather than treated like a platinum vip member. Despite receiving an email of my express upgrade, Paulina at front didn’t provide it and downgraded me to worst room in hotel. Usually on arrival, I’m greeted and offered the upgrade. The front desk girl Paulina claimed there were no such notes. She didn’t offer and options. She gave me a horrid room near the freeway. I went back to front desk as she didn’t answer phone. There was no Wi-Fi. I couldn’t reach hotels.com and no manager was on duty. I said i had vip and was staying only to sleep as my brand new home didn’t have ac yet and I wanted a quiet room. She gave me the room director next to the lobby and she claimed it was quietest. This was beyond a downgrade. I feel like I paid to be tortured. In the past, I’ve been treated well and greeted well on arrival and immediately upgraded. My parking and food has been comped because they knew who I was and all the marketing and bookings I do for celebrities, brands and world renowned companies. I’ve stayed with my family in the past and I’ve had friends and clients stay there. After this stay, I would never go back or recommend. I should be refunded for how I was treated and for the discrimination I experienced. The people who checked in after me were upgraded properly and given options. I was not. I even said I’ll pay the upgrade and speak to manager next day.

This was our second stay here. Much better than the first one. Front desk is very pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean except for the used tea pod in the coffee machine. After I checked in I found online that if you have AAA your parking fee is waived. We’ll see if it gets waived after the fact. I would stay here again. Very convenient for us to get to Kaiser Medical center.

booked 6 weeks ahead. got to the hotel at 6:30 p.m. they claimed they overbooked, trying to blame a computer issue the previous morning. that's interesting, because the night before, i got an email offering to upgrade my room, so clearly, the reservation wasn't lost. i got there before two other people who were allowed to get their room, so if there was an overbook, imrooms should be given in order of arrival. my name was written on a list with four others, and I'm 100% certain they booted all of us because we booked through hotels.com/expedia, at a discounted rate, and they wanted more noney from the people who booked directly. i was ina town I'd never been with no place to stay reading other reviews, they've done this before. they're shysters.

This was our 4th time staying at the Anza. The hotel is nice and the location is wonderful. Great place to walk around and visit the farmer's market on Saturday mornings.

Cafe was closed. Water was down. Our food got locked in the microwave twice. We didnt even know a microwave lock was a thing. And the wasn't any handsoap in the dispenser. The beds were comfortable. But the pillows hurt my neck. Hotel was very clean. Parking spaces are too tight! Close to so many good eats. Great location.

Check-in was awkward with the FD agent. She never acknowledged me while standing in line. Not even to say I’ll be right with you. I was waiting for at least 10 minutes while she continue to make small talk with the other guest who clearly was ready to leave the counter. The guest who was in front with the FD agent apologized 3 times for the FD agent lack of awareness. When it was my turn to be checked in she was short and assumed I stayed before because i knew how much the parking was. Huh? I repeatedly said I was new to the property and that my friends had stayed there. That didn’t resonate as she said you remembered where the rooms are? So that was frustrating. The housekeeping staff was friendly and nice. The restaurant on property was closed and only opened during breakfast. That was disappointing because that wasn’t communicated as we were planning to eat there for dinner. Information was misleading on the website. We ended up eating off property. Departure morning i tried the breakfast at the restaurant. It was overpriced and they ran out of bacon within the first hour of opening. Other guest was telling me that it wasn’t worth the money and decided on Starbucks up the street. I realized no one ate there. I wanted to give it a try. The food was ok. Overall, the room was super nice, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly but the amenities weren’t the best. The pool area was dirty with dirty cushions. The restaurant on property was disappointing.

Decently nice hotel, some good restaurants close by. The little bistro place inside had kind of a strange smell to it at night. Good coffee/espresso in the morning though. Bed was pretty comfortable and the pool was nice. Everything people say about the showers is true but not really that bad.

I really like the area hotel is in and the staff is amazing. I do not like that they have no dining option of any kind on site. I stayed here in may 1 day and left because of this reason. I am back only because of location and price. I stayed 4 days at Marriott Warner center and it is Quite the difference. I came back here also to see how the renovations went after 3 months to see about sending clients here. I also wish the hotel offered travel agent rates. Mgallant@expediacruises.com
