When we arrived it took almost an hour to get checked in and to our rooms. I asked for connecting or nearby rooms. We couldn’t have been much farther apart. My room smelled terrible from either smoking or mold. The bed in my room was dirty and rumpled bedding. Someone must have been in it before. I tried calling both housekeeping and front desk but neither answered. I went to lobby and there was still only one slow person at check in and a long line of people waiting. Luckily I met a lovely housekeeper named JUANA in the lobby and showed her the video I’d taken of my messy bed. She was kind enough to get clean bedding and change my bed. My friend in the room far away said the smell from the sink was horrible but there was no way to contact anyone for help.

I will start off by saying that the staff made things right immediately. However, that does not change the reality of the situation. They need some serious renovations for the amount they are charging their customers. My husband and I booked a room for a wedding we were attending. It was a 3-night, 4-day stay. We reluctantly stayed 1 night. At first glance, the hotel seemed really nice; the lobby was inviting. We were excited to see the room, only to be extremely disappointed. We were exhausted from traveling all day, so we hadn't addressed our concerns immediately. The room was small and outdated. The toilet/shower room was disgusting. The tub was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in at least a month. There was black mold on the ceiling and around the shower fixtures. There was no fan in the bathroom to help with moisture, and it was evident that water damage had occurred as a result. The sheets were stained and did not smell clean. The room itself smelled musty and dirty. The light in the sink area was selective and did not turn on consistently. Lastly, what really grossed us out was the hair dryer. It was sticky, with hair and dust all over it, which told me those items hadn't been cleaned in a VERY long time. If it hadn't been for all of the issues, we would have stayed. When we were checking out, I noticed a note that indicated there was a bad smell in another room. So we weren't the only ones who had issues.
