The property is close to shops and restaurants. I would have preferred a walk-in shower with a bench seat for the “Accessible” room instead of a shower/tub combination. The room was clean with very soft mattresses. Parking area is well lit at night.

Have stayed at this property many times. It is convenient to the east village, easy parking, comfortable beds and nice balconies on the 2nd floor. The front desk attendant was super friendly this stay and helpful. My only concerns this visit were the cleanliness of the room (there are noticible scuffs on all the walls and build up in some areas that make it feel worn/not clean/dusty, the carpet looked visibly dirty and the room had a distinct smell when we arrived). When I went to the ice maker with the ice bucket provided, it had a worn sign on it that said "out of order" and it appeared to be out of order for some length of time (which begs the question, why provide an ice bucket?). I like staying here so I really hope the owners will work on deep cleaning and get the ice maker fixed or replaced.

The room and bathroom were nicely remodeled and very clean, the bed was very comfortable, at night time the property was well illuminated and had ample parking. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Great remodeled motel. Walkable to town in 5 minutes. Bed was comfy, room very clean, nice patio in back we saw an owl and a fox. Late check in was easy, we would stay again.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is very cute, clean, peaceful, easy access to checkin and staff was great. We had a balcony that overlooked the creek. It was amazing.

Everything was great and room/bed was very comfortable and clean. Loved the back deck and peaceful surroundings. Because it is a small inn, office is not open 24/7 but assistance is available by phone (fyi).

Very convenient location, walkable to the east side of Main Street. Room was clean and as promised and the balcony view was lovely overlooking the creek, hills and trees. Bed was confortable. Only one car per room is allowed, so since we were friends meeting up for a "moms weekend " one of us had to park on the street but that worked out fine. Inn keeper was nice. Would definitely stay again.

This was a relatively enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay here again. The staff are wonderful! I called the day before with questions and, when I arrived, the office clerk greeted me by name before I could tell her who I was. She said, "I was so worried that you were going to arrive after I left for the day. I was looking forward to meeting you!" What a wonderful way to begin a trip! I felt so welcomed. I will be back! <3 The parking was plentiful, and the property is conveniently located near the downtown area. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel in a very long time (I usually hate hotel pillows!). I slept like a baby each night until my upstairs neighbor arrived and stomped around each morning, waking me up. The only downsides are that the ice machine kept breaking down so I had to spend $8 for a bag of ice at the local store, the water pressure in the shower is very low. Also, I paid extra for the garden view, which turned out to be a sloping hill area with foliage. It was not what I expected as I anticipated a view of a beautiful, colorful garden while reading and drinking morning coffee. Those minor issues aside, it is a good value for the area and a wonderful stay.

The room was very comfortable and very clean except for a few carpet stains, but they were not bad. We otherwise had a great time here (our second stay at this hotel) and will definitely stay here again.

Was kind of disappointed that there wasn’t enough staff to keep things running. Especially in cleaning room. I did appreciate friendly reception and pricing. After the 2nd day room didn’t smell as fresh. If they worked on maybe getting one more person to help out instead of one person doing everything, then maybe the rating would be better.

Location was awesome for walking into town, but it was so quiet. We went to the beach, but it was windy and cold, so we went back and sat on our balcony and read, it was perfect. Room was clean and seemed to have been updated recently and the beds, so comfortable. Have stayed at several places in Cambria and this is my favorite!

FYI - doing the “balcony” room does not mean it will be a second floor room. All the first floor rooms across the back of the property have a balcony since the hotel sits on the edge overlooking the creek. The rear of the downstairs room are about 6 feet above the grade in the back. I only booked the balcony because I wanted to guarantee a room above, since I hate having people on the floor directly above me, but it didn’t work in this case.

OMG! We loved this cute little hotel!! Clean and loved the fact we had a great view of the back forest area and the actual creak lol! We love hearing the frogs at night and the cows during the day! Seriously would recommend staying here. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable and included all the right amenities. The only negative thing which is why we didn’t give 5 Stars is because of the shower. There was NO pressure. The shower head looked old and probably needs to be replaced. Other than that everything was great!!!!

WARNING: The shower pan in our room was so slick when wet that my 73-year-old mother nearly fell, and I did fall and bruised my knee and foot. We reported it to management and were told that there should’ve been a shower mat in there, but the cleaning person must not have remembered to put it back. I kind of felt like we were getting a brush off. This is an extremely dangerous situation. There is nothing to grab onto and I ripped the shower curtain off the pole as I fell. Please make sure when you check into your room that the bathroom has a rubber mat for the shower floor.

The room included a large tv, a microwave, and a mini fridge were are not always standard. The balcony overlooked a creek with trees which was very pleasant. Overall, it was a good value for the quality of the room. We would definetly stay here again.

Very nice staff, very cute place. Nicely decorated and well kept up. Convenient location. Comfy beds too! The only issue we had is that it sounded like someone was running laps on the floor above us for quite some time as we were trying to sleep.

Our reservation somehow was changed from a king to a queen. Management was not empathetic or nice about the situation. She had a king available and refused to accommodate. She also suggested us to find another place to stay knowing the rest of the town was booked. Also insinuated indirectly that we had a pet when we didn't. Customer service did not exist here! We come up every year for the holiday, and WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!

Notified the hotel that we had a registered service animal ahead of time at the time of booking. We were treated rather rudely when we showed up with our service animal at the time of check-in. Was questioned about when and how I contacted the hotel. I had to show proof that I did send many hours ahead of time. Room was very nicely updated and well cleaned. Bed was comfortable. For one night is was fine. However, there were some hiccups with our stay that would make me think twice before here staying again. We had problems with a clogged toilet the minute we got in our room., the young kid at the front desk had zero knowledge about plumbing and said they have no maintenance staff, he could not fix it and just left us with a plunger. Will not be going back, we are contacting hotel with complaints, they need to credit our room.

This was a relatively enjoyable stay, I would definitely stay here again. The staff are wonderful! I called the day before with questions and, when I arrived, the office clerk greeted me by name before I could tell her who I was. She said, "I was so worried that you were going to arrive after I left for the day. I was looking forward to meeting you!" What a wonderful way to begin a trip! I felt so welcomed. I will be back! <3 The parking was plentiful, and the property is conveniently located near the downtown area. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel in a very long time (I usually hate hotel pillows!). I slept like a baby each night until my upstairs neighbor arrived and stomped around each morning, waking me up. The only downsides are that the ice machine kept breaking down so I had to spend $8 for a bag of ice at the local store, the water pressure in the shower is very low. Also, I paid extra for the garden view, which turned out to be a sloping hill area with foliage. It was not what I expected as I anticipated a view of a beautiful, colorful garden while reading and drinking morning coffee. Those minor issues aside, it is a good value for the area and a wonderful stay.

The property is close to shops and restaurants. I would have preferred a walk-in shower with a bench seat for the “Accessible” room instead of a shower/tub combination. The room was clean with very soft mattresses. Parking area is well lit at night.

Cambria is a lovely place to visit and the Creekside is a lovely place to stay when you do. It’s right on Main Street and a brisk walk lands you right in the downtown area with shops, restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony with a view of the creek. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was great and the rooms were nice, bright & clean! The bathroom was not fancy, but also super clean and bright. Staff was friendly and we were able to walk to everything we wanted—dinner, breakfast and the nature preserve for hiking.

There was no temperature control in the room. The ceiling fan was noisy so I could not sleep. The ocean view we paid for was a narrow window with primarily the view of the next door building and a sliver view of the ocean. The bed was not comfortable! The outside patio for occupants consisted of 2 Adirondack chairs with 2 placed directly behind them for everyone at the inn to use. I really hoped for tea or coffee to make it through the day and in a pleasant setting. I was getting ready to leave for breakfast when there was a knock on the door.. When I opened it there was a paper bag on the floor. Upon opening it I was shocked to find cold scrambled eggs, tortillas and a small plastic cup with orange juice. My husband who is a sound sleeper surprised me by saying he could not sleep either. Neither of us felt we could drive home after this and booked another night in Cambria, but obviously elsewhere that was wonderful! We have stayed many places and I think this is my first ever negative review.

Every time I come to Cambria I stay here because for the price and location you can’t beat it! My only complaint is that I wish they had better hygiene products, shampoo, body wash/lotion and hand soap! Besides that I highly recommend this hotel :)
