People and facility were nice. Breakfast was great! The town of Campbell is pretty nice. Older historical section is just down the road with dining etc... There's a bike path greenway along the river that could be neat (I didn't explore). The only disappointment was the hot tub was a lukewarm tub and the pool didn't seem that clean. Easy fixes if they get on it. I did see the pool guy on my last day.

Love this place stay here several times a year, pool always working and heated even in cooler months. Close to 20 + places to eat and shopping .

Adequate room. Coffee amenities incomplete. Pool was very dirty. However, I just needed an economical room in Campbell for a couple nights. This site was adequate for what I needed.

Great size for the room--plenty of space for luggage and spreading out. Loved the AC unit--worked well and we liked having the fan on at night. The amenities of the hot tub and the heated pool were lovely! Enjoyed the hot water and water pressure in the bathroom. Great stay!

There was no hot water in the shower. The jacuzzi was broken. Staff had no concern and no ability to do anything about it.

The Campbell Inn is a classic hotel, in that it is much like other properties. It has a decent pool area with a hot tub, but beyond that, the hotel and grounds are nothing spectacular. The Los Gatos Creek Parcourse Trail runs parallel the entire length of the property. The hotel is older, the deco is rather nondescript to slightly gaudy. The average room is nothing to write home about...it serves the purpose. The staff is pretty nice...everyone does a good job, is responsive, etc. They have a decent breakfast, but it used to be great. Covid changed everything. The reason to stay here are the rooms in the 300 buildings: the jetted tubs rooms. Upstairs and down, all the rooms are, for the most part, alike. They vary in condition, lay out, and comfort slightly. I like the rooms with a shower head in the tub area; some have a separare shower stall. Some of the timers for the jets work better than others. Generally, I find that they keep the tubs maintenanced fairly well. Check in has never been a problem for me... 3pm is the check in; check out is noon. The housekeepers are cool, but they start knocking early and if you don't throw the safety latch, they will come on into the rooms sometimes. Spanish speaking, mostly...some english. Honest people. There are, at times, some rowdy guests staying at the hotel, and the Campbell PD is never far off. The cable is so-so; a couple of my fave channels never come in. Parking lot reasonably safe. $100 deposit. I like it here!

The staff were very courteous. The location is amazing and the outdoors are well maintained. The room was decent but there was a funky smell in our room almost like an old pee smell.

Im completely shocked of the state of the room that was givem to me. In all my years of traveling ive never been so disgusted by a place. I chequed out as 30 mins after I arrived. Front desk wasnt shocked by the pictures i showed of the pillows stained white and with blood all over them. Not sure if the blankets were even changed prior. Theres certain sanitation laws hotels must follow and clearly this plave does not nor did the staff try to make it right. I do not reccoment this place if youre looking for a clean place.

The room was not only old, but smelled of mildew (visible in the shower), the cieling was full of stains, the front door flip lock was rickety at best. The exterior of the hotel was very clean and well kept, but the interior needs serious upgrade.

Room was clean and quiet

The rooms have been updated since the last time I stayed. That was a plus. It’s always a nice less expensive option when you refuse to stay in cruddy hotels. However, I found a towel with a long black hair hanging from it. I have blonde hair. It made me second guess all the towels. Otherwise, the rest of the room was very clean.

We were in room 170 and the mattress needs to be replaced. They don’t use down pillows. They are synthetic…bring your own pillow. TV was great. AC/heater was great. Good shower and towels. Fair price for the accommodation.

Well-appointed, clean, spacious rooms with daily service without reminders. Quiet air conditioning. Located right off the Los Gatos Creek trail, a prime place to walk and exercise, while being near a shopping center with literally dozens of dining options. As drawbacks, the very modest continental breakfast was offered only to-go, and the shampoo dispensers in the shower were really outdated.

The beds are very comfortable. The area is quiet. My only complaint is that the furniture and rooms themselves are quite dated.

PROS: Great location for walking to restaurants, bars, movies, exercise trail, etc. Staff is friendly. CONS: Hotel is old and outdated. Room smelled old and moldy. TV is small and the Wi-Fi is horrible.

Once upon a time this was considered a nice hotel in the area. But I don't think it has been updated since it was opened in the late 80's. Rooms were clean, that is about all I can say. Internet was horrible, so if traveling for work and have to actually work, don't bother.

Upon entering the room 216, it felt old and dated. Small refrigerator with microwave sitting on top by the door was very noisy, with lots of visible cords on a power strip. One of the night stand lamp's had to be plugged into the wall, causing us to have to pull the heavy king bed mattress away to access outlet. Second day of room service, no coffee packets were restocked. Third morning, clean towels, but no wash clothes were left. Room very noisy all night long!! Continental breakfast egg and potato dishes all 4 days were luke warm, not hot. Dining area clean, but lacked atmosphere, as the window blinds out to the pool/patio area were kept closed. Normally, we're easily pleased, but will not stay at the Campbell Inn again.

Worn at the edges -- cobwebs outside and chips on furnishing in room. Handheld shower did not work in accessible bath. My biggest complaint: 9am staff banging on the doorl to 'remind me' that checkout was 11am -- and then 10:27am call to room phone to remind me again. COME ON. That is ridiculous.

Everything worked and was clean. I'll be happy to stay here again. Staff at check-in was very kind and easy to work with.

Door lock on room didnt work properly. My belongings were stolen while i was out. Hotel staff refused to help me said they would not do anything unless i got police involved. Got police involved.

so I spent alot of money housing employees here --- we make reservations online and made a mistake in the booking ( small amount ) the hotel would not refund the money---you talk about a poor business decision ---- we will never use them again--

Full disclosure, my father was the General Contractor that built this place back in the mid-80's, so I had a deep connection with it. From the outside it still looks ok (if you don't look too closely!), but the rooms themselves are really sad. It was the first hotel in Campbell at the time and it used to be pretty swanky, top of the line EVERYTHING. Now? Its a shadow of it's former self. My biggest concern was upon check in, I was given a key and went to the room - when I opened the door it was instantly obvious that I had been given a key to an occupied room! Thank goodness nobody was in there, but there was luggage and a cooler and clothes strewn all about. I backed out and immediately went back to the desk, told them what happened and the desk clerk was very nonchalant about it "oh, my system says it's unoccupied and clean"... I got a new room, then discovered how shabby everything was, the AC unit sounded like a jet taking off, and it was impossible to get "comfortable" after the whole "occupied room" incident... Frankly, it was a big let down. I left first thing the next morning, not even bothering to check out the breakfast offerings, I just wanted out of there. I will not be going back.

We enjoyed the pool to ourselves on a hot afternoon. We walked to Pruneyard for a great evening of trivia, beer and food. So much to enjoy so close by. The staff was really nice. The bed was very comfortable. The price was great. The breakfast was much bigger than expected. Overall very happy with our stay.

No maid service.

Everything was just what I needed it to be for a quick overnight stay between my gigs. Staff was very polite and helpful. The grounds were very nice and the room and bathroom was very clean. The only thing I wish was better was that there wasn’t a clock in the room or a place near the bedside to charge my phone. Need a couple more convenient electrical outlets for charging during the night. Thanks so much!

Cute place, nice short walk to Prunyard and downtown Campbell, no charge for parking, free continental breakfast, and the trail runs through the parking lot if thats your thing.

This was a cute, older place off the 17. Backs to the Los Gatos Trail for a quick walk to the Pruneyard. It was clean, the front desk was friendly and there was a very decent free breakfast.

They charge $20 an hour for early check in. And my keys and door lock caused me to need new keys every entry. Sketchy and homeless people walking around from the creek side trail that feeds through their parking lot didn’t make me feel safe as a woman traveling alone.

I liked the location

I like that the property is located right off the Los Gatos Creek Trail where I was able to go for a daily walk. It's also very close to downtown Campbell and the Pruneyard, both places for shopping and dining with multiple very good options. The only downside is that it is right next to the freeway. Fortunately, the rooms are faced in and away from the freeway, and there weren't any windows on the freeway side of the building. Overall, a very good place to stay. I'm going back next week!

Not happy the Nextdoor neighbors kept having visitors each night until after midnight. A couple times my door was knocked on. The teen on the bike riding all afternoon and evening around the parking lot was a bit sketchy. When smoking in my car there were several cars come in the lot, go to a room and then leave. Would not return do to sketchy feelings.

Its an old hotel but for the price, location and comfort, its worth a look. Room was clean and large, lots of towels and comfortable bed. Close to freeway so can be noisy. Overall good stay

The hotel is in an excellent location, very easy to get into and near everything I needed. The room had all the amenities I needed and more. It was clean, comfortable and quiet.

This property is in a nice location, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was adequate for a hotel breakfast. The room was spacious and best if all the price was half the price of the one across. Check-in and check-out was easy. Would stay again.

Very clean and comfortable room. Hot breakfast, but no place to sit in and eat. You had to carry everything up to your room which was difficult. There were no trays.

Freeway noise was constant and made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was served through a window in styrofoam takeout box. It was too cold to eat outside and tables and chairs by pool were not clean. We ended up skipping breakfast as a result. Room decor was unappealing yellow and red and furniture and fixtures were worn and dated. Lighting in our room was cold and harsh. No place to charge devices other than next to sink. Front desk staff not at all welcoming. We won’t return to this property.

Need to update your furnishing and properly clean, my room was filthy and had a musty awful smell. This place is a dump, also the “free breakfast” was just powdered eggs, toast and cereal, no meat or anything else, very disappointing.

This is an old rundown hotel. Staff very unfriendly. Breakfast is a joke. The first day we were there all of the hot dishes were cold and they ran out of coffee. There is no fruit. There isn't even cable tv. Wow you get the choice of watching old reruns of The Rifleman or Murder She wrote! I do not recommend this to anyone and I will never stay there again. No one on duty who can make a decision. Manager never there.
