I liked the rooms...but the elevator did not work

On the hotel profile on hotels.com it shows a pool and a hot tub. Upon arriving, we find out both of them have been shut down by the department of health. Room had multiple cockroaches that we had to kill. It was disgusting, but it was comicon weekend and no other rooms were available or we would have switched.

This place is advertised with pool and laundry room but none of this are available. Plus there rate were expensive and no breakfast included

The elevator was not working. All else was good.

Slipped and fell out of the tub due to oily surface to make it shine. No soap in the room, hair on the sheets and police activity during the night and early morning. Nobody has ever fixed the parking lot, all rocks and dirt.

I won’t ever go back. Elevator is broke off & on, I was on 3rd floor. Vending machine broke. Nobody changed bedding or Towels. I had to track down house the 2 keepers for fresh towels. Dirty floor needing to be swept 0lus furniture is so outdated with stained food particles. Office staff leaves notes when ever they want to go off to do errands. Room key had to get recharged nightly on the 4 days I stayed there. Oops was said I only had you card authorization for a 1 day stay. I only stayed there because the other places were full.

3 story bld with 1 ice Mac that’s broken. Ice Bucket are not in rooms because there mo ICE on Site Need to get a new Ice Machine

Pool and Jacuzzi was closed by health department. You get what you pay for.

Nice property for a great price. Pool and hot tub were closed. Good service and staff.

Dirty towels Dirty sheets Dirty floor (laminate) Internet is usually down and always very slow Cable was out my last day - all day. When I asked they said it was getting worked on. Asked again and they didn't know it was out. Bathroom smells like mildew, the upstairs room leaks into it through the ceiling. Good location, lots around and easy to get to. Staff was friendly and seemed embarrassed when I asked for things to be fixed.

Room was very dirty floors have not been cleaned blankets dirity very dirty

The bed aheer was not changed. It had something brown that we are hoping was chocolate smeares across one side. We lwdt the next day. Asked to cancle reservation. They charged me for 2 nights then said thwy would refund 1 night but they redunded it and charged me again for it. Almost $400. For the worst experience ever.

Not very clean

Clean. Easy parking.

Place smelled like mold. Visible water damage. Floor was wavy and unsticking from floor. Shower pressure was very high and could not be contained within the curtain mainly because of available shower head position. Bed was fine but I felt like sleeping there was a hazard for anyone with respiratory issues.

The most unsanitary and disgusting hotel I have ever seen. We left after two hours because of how filthy it was. Broken furniture and appliances, dirty tiolet, dirty bed sheets, and the list goes on. I have pictures showing just how bad it was.

Mirror was broken & the room smelled the whole night like cigarette the smell never went away. The pillows, blankets smelled like cigarettes & had cigarette burns

Cockroaches on the bed made the experience terrible.

Horrible inn :the bathroom smelled like pee ,the front window didn't lock and the refrigerator leaked water and had a towel left inside .

Room was clean, bed is comfortable. Pricing was just right for the accommodations. Hotel is old, but seems to be moderately well taken care of. Elevator could use some work, but overall I am happy with the cost efficiency. Location is prime! So many options for groceries & food nearby (less than 5 minutes by car) and downtown is only 15 minutes away.

My teenage daughter and I got a late start heading to Tijuana. We ended up reaching the boarder around 1am and checked in to get some sleep before crossing in the morning. Staff was so kind. Rooms are spacious, but not fancy. They do have a microwave and a mini fridge which was great as we had left overs. We'd stay again before or after crossing.

Stayed one night. It was okay. The bed is really firm. The pillows are standard cotton pillows. There was only one wash cloth available. There was an eyelash when we pulled back the covers which we assume the bed wasn't probably cleaned. The door barely locked. Overall, we are relived it was only one night.

I liked that our room had 3 queen size beds! We stayed there just for one night as we had a very early flight to PV from Tijuana and we lived 2 hours away.

Wall are to thin. You can hear other people’s conversations.

Tv not Working no signal of any kind

There was red stains in the carpet , the beds were not really comfortable they made a lot of noise

All night and morning was noisy, next door people saw tv and talk all night

Everything was so amazing, staff was so welcoming. This was my first couple trip they made the process so easy and fast! I’d recommend this for a couple on a get away or family stay !

I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes to check in. I went to search for an employee and found the maid and asked for someone to check me in. She called the lady (Carla). I waited another 15 minutes for her to show up. She was clearly not happy. I went to my room and it was still being cleaned. I went back to the front desk to inform Carla that the room was not ready

The stay was actually fine. The furniture inside the rooms and in the lobby are very worn with noticeable marks of wear and tear but nothing that makes the furniture or the room unusable. The bed was clean, the bathroom was clean, the sheets and linens were clean so overall the stay was fine. Even though my stay was there for almost 10 days, I had to get the room key recoded nearly every day, so that was a little annoying. Also, I don’t like that they don’t clean the room every day… No one even ever asked if I wanted the room serviced. I constantly had to ask for new towels and for the trash to be emptied and little things like that, including never once was the coffee and cups replaced for the in-room coffee maker. It just seems like they’re trying to save money by not having enough staff to do all the things that need to be done so we as guests are kind of left our own devices to sort out some basic things. Was I unhappy enough to complain? No, and that’s why this review is honest… And clear. The rate for the room was low for San Diego, but high for Chula Vista… Especially given the aforementioned “issues“. I would really only recommend this hotel if you have little or no other choice… Or maybe you’re feeling kind of desperate. I think they can do better, to be honest. 7 out of 10 stars… ⭐️. This place was pretty bad. Once I got there and seen the place, I tried to get a refund. But the front desk Would not give me a refund. She was actually very rude.

The main desk guest service provider was friendly and accommodating we ran out of coffee and she was very helpful getting us more we needed to iron some clothes for my sons wedding and she came through for us

Stayed for a local concert over the weekend. Parking was safe, rooms were clean. Price was right.

Lots homeless people with shopping carts. People yelling. Floor messed up in room. No amenities.

Nothing like the pictures first of all. Sketchy parking and neighborhood. They asked for $100 deposit while checking in, after I booked with Expedia, so I paid it cash. Walked up the dirty stairs to my room. Room felt like no one has been there to clean in months, musty smell and sticky floors and dirty walls. Immediately walked out told front desk it was filthy and I didn’t feel safe and got my cash deposit back instantly but I’m currently waiting on an Expedia refund. Definitely not family friendly, I’m a single adult male traveling solo and I didn’t feel safe.

The surrounding of the hotel is very convenient with restaurants, liquor, stores, gas station, etc. The room I stay was ok with cleanliness

"Breakfast" on G pages was non-existent. No coffee/tea. No cups. 1 towel for 2 guests. Slight disrepair. Clean, but "old" smell and (typical hotel) poorly ventilated. Nice and efficient desk personnel.
