Loved the speciousness of the unit; spotlessly clean. And #17 being right on the lake was awesome. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it, too, was spotlessly clean and inviting. Lori and the asian fellow were great. Short drive to Safeway. We would return and stay longer. 2 nights not enough.

my room was very clean ready when i got there but it was too many mosquitos all in the room and all over the door we had to go get fly swatters and bug spray but other then that everything was great the fishing cleaning station water didnt work for us too clean our fish but overall we had a good time

This was our second stay--love that they have goodies for the dog. I do wish that the toilet had been higher. Just be prepared. But lovely view and well-equipped kitchen.

What a fantastic cabin located right on the lake. To look out our window at water with no obstructions was priceless. The cabin was in perfect condition with everything we needed to cook our meals and BBQ. The onsite manager, Bob, couldn't have been nicer. We wanted to BBQ so badly but it was raining. He came out anyway and started the grill and gave us all the utensils. We will be back.

It was real clean but the electricity at the dock didn't work and was not up the code and very dangerous but after telling me he would give me a refund for the electricity not working he ended up charging me anyways and has very shady business practices at that facility. I called to discuss this with Bob and he told me to be quiet and not talk which I am a grown man and will not be talked to in such a manner, I would never recommend anybody to stay at this facility...

Beautiful property and location however everyone who lives locally is on substances and it was really uncomfortable. The property is right off the lake and you get a beautiful view. None of the locals bother you or come near the property so that was good. We were in town visiting my grandparents and clear lake is such a beautiful location. If we do come back I wouldn't mind staying at this location again. Booking was easy along with checking in and out. If you need any assistance the manager is a phone call away. The view is breathtaking! I also liked that our cottage had a stove, so we cooked everyday saving us money. The cleaning ladies were super helpful and attentive as well. Overall it was a great stay. Just be aware of the locals because just about everyone is on substances unfortunately. Also there was a ton of nats/bugs flying around so when you walk, fingers crossed nothing flys in your mouth or eyes lol, but we know its common for lakes to have bugs. Lastly i would recommend this specific property, oh and they allow dogs which is a plus!

Very comfy setting. Nice, quite location. Exceptional view and amenities. The dock area was wonderful but the bbq/picnic area was amazing! Loved the cottages and the atmosphere. Bob was an amazing host who very forth coming with information and his kindness was top notch. The cleaning ladies made sure the place was spectacular and stocked up.

This property and their staff were amazing. We came during May so the lake was so beautiful. The grounds and rooms were very clean and spacious. I definitely would stay here again as it made for a special stay during a quick trip.

Such a pretty location. Our cottage was spotless and very comfortable except the pillows were a bit thin. We really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely looking out at the lake from inside the cottage and the patio. Dog friendly. Easy communication.

The property is great and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the space and privacy having our own cottage provided versus a traditional hotel/motel. It was so quiet and the grounds were well kept. We will be back!

Unit itself was perfect….other than noisy refrigerator that kept us awake. Algae bloom REALLY stinky! Not their problem….we just didn’t know ahead of time. Dining in town very poor.

The property is amazing but shot in the knees by rancid stink from Clearlake. This is something that visitors should keep in mind in summers. Also, the AC in our unit took ages to cool the room, something that the management can look into for the upcoming months.

Check in process was easy; veranda and lake view was awesome, though only two veranda chairs for a 4 person unit. Everything was clean and kitchenware was adequate. Hot water and shower were good, and two vanities helped w girls v boys needs. Though a paper bag was left on the kitchen table w coffee and bathroom supplies, we did not realize until the next day to look for soap and shampoo etc in that bag. It would have been better to: 1) tell lodgers in the info ring binder that these supplies were there , and 2) have enough supplies for the number of people due to stay, specifically shampoo etc. We were promised a dog bed so didn’t bring our pup’s bed but all they had was a sheet and towel for the dog. The dog food dishes were great, as well as the frisbee. For us, the worst were this beds. Some of our party are “bigger people” and the bed mattress was such that one of our family was forced to sleep on the couch after the first very sleep-deprived night. Also, as we were there during cold and rainy weather, having a couple of available blankets would have been good.

The comfort started with the friendly one on one communication with Bob, and as we talked his wonderful offer to upgrade our room to a bit more accessible room so my boyfriend (who doesn't always walk comfortably) could park right in front of our cottage...just such a comfy vibe. Then when we arrived at our wonderful and secure cottage in a really lovely area of Clear Lake Bob stopped by with goodies for us and our pup...so nice! We watched a lovely sunset behind Mount Konocti while we drank our champagne, then went to Howard's Grotto for a fabulous Prime Rib and Filet Mignon dinner. We had a wonderful stay. Only a few critiques: The heater fan (which pumped out delicious heat) was quite noisy all night. I also like a very dark room to sleep in but the shades did not provide that (black out curtains of some kind would be nice). The very roomy shower (nice) did not really crank out the kind of hot water my boyfriend and I enjoy. It was hot but would have liked it hotter. But these were minor issues compared to the very beautiful place and the warm hospitality shown by Bob, the manager. A real gem. We will return again!

I received an upgraded unit out of the kindness of the owners heart. I was Very Pleased with the unit I stayed 2 nights in.....Very up to date,,,,Very Clean & Comfortable..... I would highly recommend Clear Lake Cottages & Marina to all my friends and family. If you are looking for a good quality,, clean & neat place to stay.....this is the place....

Had a problem with the ac and Richard was able to upgrade us promptly with my two sons and wife I’m very appreciative for how fast he made it happen and the options for upgrading things went well I’m very satisfied!

The cottage was absolutely delightful, and we’re hoping to come back for New Years! The check in process never did work quite right, but we got inside (not sure if we checked out properly, though - hope so!). We just happened to get there during a heat wave and algal bloom, but that’s not the property’s fault. Lovely place!

Jerome was very kind and welcoming. We had a slight issue with our check-in, and he was quick to respond with an amazing solution. Will we be back, and now we have a new favorite cabin.

The comfort started with the friendly one on one communication with Bob, and as we talked his wonderful offer to upgrade our room to a bit more accessible room so my boyfriend (who doesn't always walk comfortably) could park right in front of our cottage...just such a comfy vibe. Then when we arrived at our wonderful and secure cottage in a really lovely area of Clear Lake Bob stopped by with goodies for us and our pup...so nice! We watched a lovely sunset behind Mount Konocti while we drank our champagne, then went to Howard's Grotto for a fabulous Prime Rib and Filet Mignon dinner. We had a wonderful stay. Only a few critiques: The heater fan (which pumped out delicious heat) was quite noisy all night. I also like a very dark room to sleep in but the shades did not provide that (black out curtains of some kind would be nice). The very roomy shower (nice) did not really crank out the kind of hot water my boyfriend and I enjoy. It was hot but would have liked it hotter. But these were minor issues compared to the very beautiful place and the warm hospitality shown by Bob, the manager. A real gem. We will return again!

Loved the speciousness of the unit; spotlessly clean. And #17 being right on the lake was awesome. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it, too, was spotlessly clean and inviting. Lori and the asian fellow were great. Short drive to Safeway. We would return and stay longer. 2 nights not enough.

Such a pretty location. Our cottage was spotless and very comfortable except the pillows were a bit thin. We really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely looking out at the lake from inside the cottage and the patio. Dog friendly. Easy communication.

The property is amazing but shot in the knees by rancid stink from Clearlake. This is something that visitors should keep in mind in summers. Also, the AC in our unit took ages to cool the room, something that the management can look into for the upcoming months.

Beautiful property and location however everyone who lives locally is on substances and it was really uncomfortable. The property is right off the lake and you get a beautiful view. None of the locals bother you or come near the property so that was good. We were in town visiting my grandparents and clear lake is such a beautiful location. If we do come back I wouldn't mind staying at this location again. Booking was easy along with checking in and out. If you need any assistance the manager is a phone call away. The view is breathtaking! I also liked that our cottage had a stove, so we cooked everyday saving us money. The cleaning ladies were super helpful and attentive as well. Overall it was a great stay. Just be aware of the locals because just about everyone is on substances unfortunately. Also there was a ton of nats/bugs flying around so when you walk, fingers crossed nothing flys in your mouth or eyes lol, but we know its common for lakes to have bugs. What a fantastic cabin located right on the lake. To look out our window at water with no obstructions was priceless. The cabin was in perfect condition with everything we needed to cook our meals and BBQ. The onsite manager, Bob, couldn't have been nicer. We wanted to BBQ so badly but it was raining. He came out anyway and started the grill and gave us all the utensils. We will be back.
