Excellent location. Friendly staff. 2 nice pickleball courts. The main pool was under construction (this should have been in the listing) and will be for all of 2025. That was not in the listing. They do have a pool open but it is smaller and cramped as there are too few chairs. Otherwise everything was great

My wife and I have stayed at LaCabana 10 times over the past 20 years. The staff and facilities are first class. They have an excellent gym facility and are currently doing renovations of the swimming pool area to improve the customer experience. Have added pickleball courts (2) and several grilling areas. Best beach in Aruba is across the street.

The location is perfect, the room was clean, neat, and comfortable. A bit disappointed in that there were huge areas blocked off for construction, and no mention or note of that. This included the main pool area. I think that is a pretty big deal, and should have been mentioned. We love the location, with the beach & Super Food being ideal and easy walking.

The units are great, location great. What we were disappointed with was the pool was closed for renovations leaving small pool which people claimed tables and chairs in the middle of the night taking them all and nothing was done. Palapa's same thing. People going down between 2-4am to take the first couple of rows every day. Waiting for chairs at 6am then leave, come back for an hour and leave again until noon. Families didn't stand a chance getting near the pool or a decent palapa. System for both should be changed.

I really liked this place. Very nice resort, with an amazing pool area. Very large, with an adults only area which was nice. Several restaurants on site along with a casino. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, and very friendly. Room was super clean. Things were tagged as cleaned by the housekeeping. Nice aruba aloe body products in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommended this place and would stay here again. And they have a Cinnabon, which was the icing on the cake.

I really enjoyed my short stay here. Rooms were clean and service was excellent. Rox and Franco did a great job at check in and I found everyone in the resort to be prompt and friendly with their service. The beach is lovely and never had a problem finding chairs, however, the pool area was a bit trickier and it did seem like people took many more chairs than they needed for themselves and their belongings. However, this is my only negative about the resort. Everything else was positive.

Convenient location, across from amazing Eagle Beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to resorts guests. Property restaurants are excellent. Friendly and great concierge service. Decent casino. Great grocery store nearby. Studio unit smelled a bit musty but otherwise was clean and comfortable.

The VRBO listing referenced construction during 2021. The listing did not include any mention of the main pool being under construction through Dec 2024. As a result, there was nowhere on the property itself for us to relax. The remaining adult and children's pools were completely overcrowded and any remaining lounge chairs were strewn haphazardly around the property and bombarded by constant construction noise. [2] We should have been notified regarding the need to change rooms during the middle of our stay at time of booking. We were quite surprised and annoyed when we learned this upon our arrival and the staff made little effort to make the change less intrusive to our overall stay [3]. We were given three different and conflicting sets of instructions regarding necessary actions guests were expected to take when a room change was required. The process was quite stressful and some of our perishable items spoiled when they were not handled properly by hotel staff during our transition. (3) Housekeeping was practically non existent.transi

Property is in a prime location on Eagle Beach which is a plus. Certain hotel employees are very friendly, i.e. John the bell man and most of the security personnel. The people that work the shops especially the RedLine Sports shops are rude and disrespectful. Getting a beach Palapa or chair requires you to wake up at 5 am to trek down to the beach and fight for one. Completely opposite what a vacation should be like. Food was average. Drink service was good. Housekeeping is once a week so you have to keep up on your room. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re used to good service and higher end accommodations. For families on a budget, it’s a good choice

This was an amazing way to experience Aruba. We met so many nice people on this wonderful resort, steps away from Eagle Beach! The room was huge and clean and far exceeded my expectations. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff was friendly and attentive at all times. I honestly have zero complaints and plan to return here!

They are renovating the large pool and area around it until December 2025ish so it is blocked off. There is a smaller "adult" pool where kids could swim with adults. People put towels on chairs/loungers by 7AM and seem to stay the day which isn't considerate of other guests. There is also a toddler pool. The restaurant choices on-property are 3 plus a gelatoria and Cinabon. Sunset has a car rental desk in the lobby for convenience. Resort staff are very helpful and kind. Large grocery store is within a block. Full size frig/freezer, gas stove top, pots, fry pans, microwave, microwaveable bowls, strainer, pitcher, toaster, cooking/grilling utensils and place settings for 4 are provided. There are grills in the courtyard of the property. The bed is very comfortable, seemingly a larger queen size. Never ran out of hot water for showers. Tap water is very good to drink. There is a safe in the room and a broom if you, like me, desire to keep the sand accumulation down. I greatly appreciate the discount that made it possible for us to book this wonderful accommodation.

The rooms are small and need updating. The front desk people were not very friendly. The grocery store seems like a long distance. There was hardly any seating at the pool because of the construction. The papa’s by the beach you had to get up at 4 AM to reserve

Stay was supposed to be till Feb 1, was told about 72 hrs before check in that I was dealing with a management company and the owner cancelled on them. They guaranteed stay till 24th, but getting details was difficult and getting confirmation for check in was more so. Made my own New Year's Eve impossible to enjoy without knowing if I would be able to check in the following day. Didn't get a confirmation number until almost 9 pm after several back and forth texting and emailing. Then I found out I had to move from room to room 6 times in 23 days. Some just after 3 nights. Always took a day off of being able to relax, pack, unpack, barely Not exactly the relaxing 1 month get away I was expecting. I was warned about possibly having to move rooms during the stay, but this amount of times? I figured a time share maximum 4 in a 30 day period. I got 6 in in 23 days? Was able to secure my own accommodations for the remainder of my stay, and that I will give 5 stars for a quick, no fuss refund from the company for that portion. La Cabana itself is nice, other than major WiFi issues, possibly due to construction on the main pool area..Staff is wonderful, helpful rooms are overall nice, I just didn't get a chance to enjoy it like I planned.

The hotel room we got reeked of mold. We wanted to change it but there were no other rooms available. They did offer me a humidifier to put in the room and i must say it helped ! The hotel is big but a little outdated.

Great location. Beautiful Palm Beach is a short walk across the street, or you can remain pool side where they have music, happy hour, fun activities for kids and or adults throughout the day. Good restaurants were on the premises or a short walk. The resort might seem a bit dated, but it was always kept clean. I heard they were redoing both the adult pool and main pools, which should really update the resort.
Great location. Beautiful Palm Beach is a short walk across the street, or you can remain pool side where they have music, happy hour, fun activities for kids and or adults throughout the day. Good restaurants were on the premises or a short walk. The resort might seem a bit dated, but it was always kept clean. Loved our stay here - so much so I felt compelled to leave a review on the plane ride home! The most notable part was the friendly, efficient, and kind front desk staff (thank you, Eli, for checking us in!). We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach (<5 mins), easy towel service, many and free palapas, and the pool and hot tub were clean and great to relax in after the beach! The room itself was great with all the accommodations we needed. Area was super safe and conveniently close to restaurants and the grocery store (we are happy we rented a car though). Plenty of free self parking at the hotel also a plus! Our only cons are that we never had our room cleaned (but it was fine), the adult only pool was closed during our entire stay but unsure why, and lastly we had a strange and unpleasant encounter with one of the workers at the cafe in the lobby. We were given a weird sweet milk when we ordered a matcha green tea latte. When we brought it back, she said it was not a matcha (we agreed!) but insinuated we had brought something random back for a free drink and was both wrong and aggressive. She lectured us to keep the receipt next time (they never gave us one in the first place). She did not offer a refund, she replaced it with a hot coffee which was also strange.

My stay at Aurba was great. BUT we had to move 3 times and our last for days was canceled. Good thing the LaCabana had a room for us. Heading home will see if I got my refund. Never again with VRBO !!!

I oked this vacation through VRBO 3 months in advance for New Years Eve Checking in on December 30th Checking out on January 3rd. I paid in full when the Reservation was made. On December 28 I recieved a message from the host who claimed to be with a management company stating that my reservation was being canceled because they could not get into contact with the owner. So 2 days before check in they canceled my reservation . I was already in Aruba at this point and needed to check out of my current accommodation to be left with nowhere to go! I spent 2 days on the phone with VRBO for hours during my vacation trying to find help I was told by VRBO I would need to wait 24 hours before they could help,meanwhile I was running out of time to find a place to stay. I Waited the 24 hours just to be put on hold for over 3 hours with VRBO who were not helpful at all solving this issue. A waste of my vacation time that I could never get back! It was extremely hard to find a place in Aruba 2 days before new years! After reading other reviews I've learned that this guy has done this to several people and is continuing to SCAM people today! Please take caution before booking with VRBO at this location. Avoid the nightmare I had to encounter on my beautiful trip in Aruba! In all fairness I've staid at Lacabana several times and its a wonderful place to stay with great staff and service .The location is Amazing. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Check in was seamless, the resort is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be going back and staying at La Cabana again!

We stayed at La Cabana for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time. The room/property were what we expected and Christian was prompt to answer any questions that we had. Will stay again for sure!

Been coming to Aruba for years and have always loved La cabana! The property is beautiful and staff are friendly. Only frustrating thing is the new rules implemented as well as felt picked on a bit by security when it came to the beach huts. They no longer clean your room everyday but only once a week if you’re lucky, if you want it more you have to pay $30-50 extra a day. If you need clean towels you have to call and sometimes they would take a bit to bring them so you have to wait. Lastly the rule for the beach huts is you can only be away from it for 1.5 at a time which is understandable to keep things fair. What was frustrating is this is the first year I went alone with my partner and I was approached by security not once not twice but three times about leaving my hut when I was only gone for 20-30 minutes! When watching security afterwards they never approached older individuals. Became so frustrated that I started taking pictures to time stamp when I was leaving so they would leave us alone. I was definitely not impressed and felt quite disrespected. While I have loved cabana and the facilities for years this trip has definitely left me to re consider choosing them in the future. Been to Aruba 10 times 7 stays at Cabana and never once experienced this.

Booking through VRBO/the timeshare at La Cabana wasn’t our best experience. We were told our dates were available ( Wed thru the following Thursday) We were booking last minute ( 6 weeks out). They took credit card info and charged us for the entire 8 days for a Studio. When we arrived, we were only on the reservation for 3 nights. Long story short we ended up in a 1 bedroom for 8 nights, but had to pack up after 3 nights and move to another room. We were told that our reservation had only been made a week earlier and that we were lucky that whomever was playing with our money was able to find something. I’m now very nervous about booking online.

Was supposed to be a trip with three couples and one single friend. Two days before two of the couples and the one Single friend left they all received a text that there rooms were cancelled leaving us a lot of stress and scrambling to find a place for them to stay. We had a room, but because it was a blue green members room, we got last priority at LaCabana and had the lowest quality rooms and had to move to a different room halfway through our trip. We love LaCabana but DO NOT book through here. Book directly from the resort. Not sure what this guy does to get rooms but he charges twice what they rent for through a property owner and you run a huge risk of getting room cancelled at the last minute. We read reviews that he did this to others last year, but those reviews are now mysteriously gone. He is a crook.

Loved our stay here - so much so I felt compelled to leave a review on the plane ride home! The most notable part was the friendly, efficient, and kind front desk staff (thank you, Eli, for checking us in!). We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach (<5 mins), easy towel service, many and free palapas, and the pool and hot tub were clean and great to relax in after the beach! The room itself was great with all the accommodations we needed. Area was super safe and conveniently close to restaurants and the grocery store (we are happy we rented a car though). Plenty of free self parking at the hotel also a plus! Our only cons are that we never had our room cleaned (but it was fine), the adult only pool was closed during our entire stay but unsure why, and lastly we had a strange and unpleasant encounter with one of the workers at the cafe in the lobby. We were given a weird sweet milk when we ordered a matcha green tea latte. When we brought it back, she said it was not a matcha (we agreed!) but insinuated we had brought something random back for a free drink and was both wrong and aggressive. She lectured us to keep the receipt next time (they never gave us one in the first place). She did not offer a refund, she replaced it with a hot coffee which was also strange.

This is an easy review...! 100% excellent prop. Great communication. All people working there are friendly and helpful. The concierge so great too. Coffee in the morning at Juan Valdez...entertainment on the property too. We loved it and we are planning our next trip back there this weekend! 20 stars!

We made the best of it. But, we were locked out of are room for awhile due to the battery not working, check-in was quite the process and they are currently are having a terrible suage problem at Eagle Beach where the restaurant is, and all you smelled while sitting on the beach was foul odor of poop.

Decent casino. Great grocery store nearby. Studio unit smelled a bit musty but otherwise was clean and comfortable.

Place was mid. Beach is phenomenal, except for the raw sewage smell. Resort would have received a 4/5 overall if the pool wasn’t under construction. Room very clean. Service staff responsive to all requests. Manager Christian was a great communicator.

The location is perfect, the room was clean, neat, and comfortable. A bit disappointed in that there were huge areas blocked off for construction, and no mention or note of that. This included the main pool area. I think that is a pretty big deal, and should have been mentioned. We love the location, with the beach & Super Food being ideal and easy walking.

La Cabana is in a great location right across the road from Eagle Beach. There are also a number of fantastic restaurants and a large grocery store within easy walking distance of the resort. The staff was excellent.

This resort is not 4 stars. Main pool is closed place is not updated and there is construction everywhere. Check in is late and check out is early. Restaurants are not good at all. If you are planing to stay in a resort with all amenities do not come to this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Cabana. Eagle Beach is the cleanest, most beautiful beach we have ever seen. There are 5 restaurants within walking distance for dinner, all great. A quick drive or scooter ride to the high rise area for other restaurants or clubs. La Cabana was very clean, restaurants were great. The property has something for everyone, kids to retired. Bar was great and reasonably priced. There was always something to do. Being just two of us, I thought we would be bored that was not at all the case. We absolutely hope to be back and would never think of staying anywhere else.

They are renovating the large pool and area around it until December 2025ish so it is blocked off. There is a smaller "adult" pool where kids could swim with adults. People put towels on chairs/loungers by 7AM and seem to stay the day which isn't considerate of other guests. There is also a toddler pool. The restaurant choices on-property are 3 plus a gelatoria and Cinabon. Sunset has a car rental desk in the lobby for convenience. Resort staff are very helpful and kind. Large grocery store is within a block. Full size frig/freezer, gas stove top, pots, fry pans, microwave, microwaveable bowls, strainer, pitcher, toaster, cooking/grilling utensils and place settings for 4 are provided. There are grills in the courtyard of the property. The bed is very comfortable, seemingly a larger queen size. Never ran out of hot water for showers. Tap water is very good to drink. There is a safe in the room and a broom if you, like me, desire to keep the sand accumulation down. I greatly appreciate the discount that made it possible for us to book this wonderful accommodation.

There are plenty of activities on site: water aerobics, bingo, wine tasting, art classes, live music at happy hour, etc. LaCabana definitely has more of a "party" feel than some other timeshares so if you're looking for a quiet resort, this may not be the place. We love the Las Ramblas restaurant. The food is always exceptional and we enjoy listening to the guitarist who plays there regularly. All in all, a great place to stay. My only complaint is that they should install Smart TVs in the units or have a Roku or some other device to stream services. The TV selection left a lot to be desired, so having the ability to stream Netflix would be great. We would happily stay there again!

Phone in room not working. Fan in bedroom had no switch, got locked out room twice, wristband failed. Main attraction pool under construction. Loud construction noise all day. Great location. Beautiful Palm Beach is a short walk across the street, or you can remain pool side where they have music, happy hour, fun activities for kids and or adults throughout the day. Good restaurants were on the premises or a short walk. The resort might seem a bit dated, but it was always kept clean. I heard they were redoing both the adult pool and main pools, which should really update the resort.

I give the resort a 3 star. Beautiful pool area and resort. The downside was ordering food at the pool area took a very long time to get the food, waited for 45 minutes. The other major downside is The resort shares the beach area with another resort. If you want a palapa with chairs on the beach you have to be at the beach by 4:30 a.m. to stand or sit on towel until 7:00 when the workers start putting the lounge chairs under the palapas. That’s ridiculous! No sleeping in if you want shade. The pool area if you want a table with an umbrella you better be sitting at one by 6:00 or you won’t get one. If you leave your towels/beach bag on chairs or table the security writes down the time that you leave, if your gone more than one hour they take your belongings and you have to go to the area in the resort to retrieve them. We really enjoyed our time. Restaurants on property were excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location right on the beach is very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we were not told that there was a major renovation going on to the main pool area. So no access to that big pool and access to the beach was rerouted to take an extra couple of minutes every time.
The location right on the beach is very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we were not told that there was a major renovation going on to the main pool area. So no access to that big pool and access to the beach was rerouted to take an extra couple of minutes every time.

Our stay at La Cabana was incredible Eagle Beach is absolutely stunning. Our room was very clean. Even though the main pool was undergoing renovations, there was a separate pool for us to enjoy. The location is perfect. The area is very quiet and there is a major grocery store only a short walk away. We cannot wait to return.

I really enjoyed my short stay here. Rooms were clean and service was excellent. Rox and Franco did a great job at check in and I found everyone in the resort to be prompt and friendly with their service. The beach is lovely and never had a problem finding chairs, however, the pool area was a bit trickier and it did seem like people took many more chairs than they needed for themselves and their belongings. However, this is my only negative about the resort. Everything else was positive.
