My second stay in this dump. No hot water in the shower. They changed my room, same situation. Will never stay in that place again. Charging $15 for car parking, another scam. At least this time they updated the website notification. Last time the website said $3 I will never stay there again.

Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing. I made a special request before check-in due to my work schedule, but it was not completed. This resulted in me being delayed and late for work, which was frustrating and avoidable. When I arrived, I was given a room with a broken/unsecured door, which raised serious safety concerns. I reported the issue but never received a follow-up confirming it had been resolved. After returning to the hotel after 1:00 a.m., Nicki was thankfully very helpful. She listened to my concerns and helped me change rooms. I truly appreciate her taking the situation seriously. I was also uncomfortable with how the Wyndham membership fee was communicated. I was told, “Oh, you’re not a Wyndham member, so that will be $25.” The way it was said made me feel like I was being treated differently for not being a member. Overall, this was a stressful and disappointing stay. The room security issue, lack of follow-up, missed special request, and poor communication significantly impacted my experience. Nicki was the one bright spot and provided the customer service I expected from the beginning. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the guest experience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the basics were covered clean rooms and functional amenities. However, the age of the facility is noticeable, and I'd recommend some renovations to bring the property up to current standards. The room furniture and fixtures show their wear, and updating the décor and appliances would make a real difference. A few aesthetic improvements fresh paint, updated bedding, and modernized bathrooms would elevate the guest experience significantly. The common areas could also use some refreshing to feel more inviting. For the price point, La Quinta offers decent value, but with some targeted renovations, this property could easily compete with newer competitors in the area. If you're planning updates, I'd prioritize the guest rooms and bathrooms for maximum impact. Rating: 3/5 stars
