Garden Inn and Suites Glendora

Owners and management have done an excellent job with an older property. Everything was convenient, clean, and comfortable. The blooming garden area and fountain made it even more appealing. Safe, convenient parking, and a quiet location added to the good experience.

Really like the rose bushes and the fountain and the well kept landscape. Upon arrival we were treated with the utmost respect and kindness

Room was cleaned every day and the property was clean and tidy. The parking was convenient and it was far enough off the street that you don't get a lot street noise. Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Nice to have refrigerator and microwave in the room to use.

First impression pulling into the parking lot was that the hotel looks well kept and peaceful. Parking is limited and spaces look a little narrow. Check in was quick, receptionist was nice, and I was in my room within minutes. The room was very spacious with a tiny kitchenette, multiple tables and chairs. Nice wood flooring, comfortable bed with soft blankets. Bathroom is spotless and the shower is equipped for those who need grab handles to steady themselves when taking a shower. Hotel is surrounded by nice landscaping and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The owner has done a fine job updating and maintaining this place.

Loved the size of the room it was extra large. Very quiet Property, very well-maintained, lovely fountain, and landscaping.

The property was very nice, the trees, flowers and fountain were a nice touch. Room was big and spacious, you can tell there have been upgrades. The only issue I would say is none of the faucets worked properly or were completely attached.

Staff was very nice. They even let us check in before 3 pm. Parking spots were very spacious

Nice motel, a traditional property which has recently been refurbished. Nice spacious room was quiet and comfortable. Nice kitchenette. Plenty of hot water. Included breakfast was basic but good. Coffee maker in room. There are some nearby places to eat which are good. There is a liquor store out front for beverages etc. I stayed here for the Fairplex at Pomona which was a short drive. Recommended :)

This motel is near a busy thoroughfare (Route 66. Historic! As my gps keeps reminding me.) So as a motel in a central location, it should be judged accordingly. The rooms themselves are far enough back from the street that traffic noise wasnt an issue for me. It's walking distance from many eateries, across the street from The Hat (famous pastrami sandwiches) with many other restaurants and fast food options just a few minutes' drive away. Near Citrus College and Azusa Pacific University, groceries and retail stores like Marshall's and Ross. Breakfast is basic grab-n-go, coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets, small fruit selection, packaged danishes and muffins, cereal, toast, bagels. Check the fridge for milk, Sunny D, cream cheese and yogurt. No problems parking. Nice walking area if you head up into the mountains and walk along Sierra Madre. Beautiful sunsets and great view. The motel itself is comfortable, but like most motels it is very basic in its amenities. Coin operated laundry room with one washer and dryer. Small fridge/wet bar area, suites with couch and coffee table. There's a pull down privacy screen over the windows so you can let sunlight in during the day. Glad I can open one side of my window for fresh air when needed. Staff is respectful and kind. Downsides: motel a bit on the older side and some things need replacing - hair dryer dying, mini fridge freezer has icy buildup. Tv and internet service has been spotty a few times.

All three rooms had bed bugs. On site management was of no help. Very disappointed with our stay.

The room had a dirty floor. The bed was full of hair. The bathroom ceiling was stained and had lots of hair as well. The blow dryer didn’t work. There was trash outside the room.

Room was ok! Major issue was room has baby roaches. While I was there, I saw one! My son saw another in total 2 baby roaches. I would not stay here again.

The girl at the front desk was really nice… I asked for a downstairs room and it was given to me.. the room was clean, but I couldn’t leave food out because there were a lot of roaches..

It’s was okay, bathroom had blood on the seat.

It was very bad smell in the room, I arrived back from work very tired . I open the room door and there was a foul smell , maybe I was tired i thought . Lay down before i knew I was asleep , few hours I Believe was sleeping. Woke up with horrible headache. I followed the smell to bathroom. It was coming from toilet, I flush toilet and water came from floor, the toilet must not have been properly installed. Horrible smell fumes. I could stand the smell ,I grabbed my bag , went to office. It was almost midnight, no one answered the ring for 15 minutes, a young man then came out I explained my issue with the room and almost like he didn't want to deal with the problem I was having . Didn't even offer to go and see what I was talking about. He just took the room key and told me that my $100 deposit would be returned to my account. Didn't offer a different room or an apology of some kind . Very rude , very bad customer service .. He put me out in the cold night . I was in shock . I had no place to go , slept in my car .

Floor was extremely dirty after walking around in my socks for five minutes they were completely black

We opened the nightstand drawer only to find at least a dozen filthy used tissues and more. It was beyond disgusting. The smoke alarm wasn’t even attached to the ceiling, and the TV did not work. It was awful.

I felt safe here. The property is well maintained. I’m not crazy about how clean the room was. Walk around barefoot then look at the bottom of your feet. Mine were black. That says a lot. The property offers continental breakfast, but everything about it is dreadful. I would describe breakfast as stale and sparse.

Needs updating. Reminds me of a motel from the 60’s.

Convince for location. Bed was a little hard and air conditioning was so loud and outdated. Other than that and man talking really loud next door at 6am it was okay for what you pay for

The room was nice, but it was very noisy from the other occupants. You could hear them as if they were almost in your same room. That part was annoying.

Check in was really easy, it was quiet, it was spacious and it had a kitchen in it.

WIFI was often spotty. Not good when handling business. No Kleenex.

The reception clerk was rude and dismissive. The noise level from other guests went on until 3:30 am including loud yelling on walkway and constant door slamming. We could hear snoring through the walls. We only stayed here as a quick stop on a long drive and knew it was a cheap hotel so expected just a bare minimum. It did not even live up to that. So bad that we got up and left at 4am although we had planned to not leave until about 9. Don’t stay here.

Office staff not all that friendly or available but otherwise a great place for the price.

This was the worst place we've ever stayed. Check-in guy was very unfriendly and wasn't available after check-in. The beds are basically the quality of pull-out sofas, linens and towels had a strange musty smell with matching mysterious stains. But the kicker is that the walls are paper thin and the clientele here is...not the best. We were awakened at 7AM to an angry conversation about collecting drug money (we could hear every work as if it was happening in our room) followed shortly after by the sounds of violent throwing up for a full 10 minutes. Possibly the same room? Not sure. We packed up the kids pronto and got out of there fast.

I stayed on a Friday night for $120 (taxes & fees included) Worth every penny! Modest but clean, with excellent customer service, lots of parking, and free continental breakfast. Fast check-in and the $100 security deposit was voided because of my good rental history. I'm definitely coming back!

Excellent service

A great hotel. The staff and kind and beyond helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious, and organized. And there are a ton of restaurants and stores in walking distance.

Bad stay safety was a issue

Very pretty property, tucked in off a busy street but quite all the same. Plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance.

I was not super happy with the location; it was not set back very far from the busy street and it’s right behind a liquor store. There were several people loitering in front of the hotel property. However, the grounds are well kept and it was very quiet during my stay, so it worked out ok but I doubt I will stay here again. If I need a good deal I’ve had luck finding things in surrounding areas only about 10-15 minutes away that I’d prefer to stay. But if you really need to be in Azusa or Glendora and you need a low price, this is definitely not the worst place you could stay.

It was a fine place for a night or two. I felt pretty unsafe at times with random people being able to come and go and just walk right through the area. The staff didn’t speak much English, and we had been in the car for 13 hours so it was a little frustrating. They ignored us for about 5 minutes before they helped us, on the phone with another employee or something. The hotel itself was fine on the inside, a little outdated but nothing crazy.

The place was clean. The room didn't stink. There was hot water in the shower. And the AC worked. That's all I ask for and they provided. Also, right across the street is a diner called The Hat, and they are AMAZING! I would stay again.

A nice place to stay within walking distance for a number of restaurants and shopping locations.

Staff was very nice and room was clean. Nice proximity to lots of restaurants and Azuza pacific.

Compared to the 3 locations we needed to stay for baseball locations reasons. This was the most comfortable and roomy, quietest location. Walkable distance to some food, grocery. Definitely would recommend!

This is not a new luxury hotel, but the property was well maintained and clean, and someone clearly cares about landscaping. Continental breakfast decent. The staff was available, helpful and pleasant. No problems with noise. Would start again.

Breakfast was minimal, juice drink machine was out of order. No hot water for making tea. Bed was great.

Went for one night clean,room was huge two queen beds ,had continental breakfast which was not great but didn’t mind since there is so much food locations in walking distance, friendly staff , quiet , would use them again

The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast wasn’t great, even for a continental breakfast it was sparse and not he small bagels seemed stale. Property was well taken care of and the grounds were nice.

The property is very cute! Convenient location, clean and easy check in/out process. Wish they had better breakfast choices. Over all a great stay and would stay again!

Remodeled and updated property with clean room nice smell. Cute kitchenette. Room overall was enjoyable. Both sink & bathtub had a little backup and could use some drain line clearing. Mattresses were a little too soft for me. Unimpressed with BARE MINIMUM included breakfast. Poorly stocked. Door to breakfast room sticks HARD and needs attention.

It was nice. Overall it was ok. However , The bed and bedding could be updated it felt old. And possibly tell guests to be quiet after 11pm. People screaming and yelling in middle of night. Need a better continental breakfast. That was terrible coffee.
