Easy parking,

Booked because it has a pool and gym. Both were non functional. Rooms are shoddy, old and dirty. No elevator to 2nd floor. Lots of migrant laborers hanging out in the halls and staying in bunk beds in rooms. Minimal towels, shoddy drapes, noisy, very distasteful.

They need to take the hot tub and pool off the list of amenities. It’s been closed for many months.

The hotel is old but serviceable. Clean but older sheets, duvet cover. Pool closed due to COVID?

We booked this property for the pool & hot tub which were both closed with no warning prior to booking.

Stay was good pool and gym were closed did not know about this before bookkng until we were checked in already. There was an uneven area of concrete outside in parking lot where my spouse tripped and fell. Over all it is a good area and good hotel if these issues can be fixed it be perfect!

Ok, I admit this was only 68 bucks, so complaints are well, lets say, whatever. But for other folks, it is 8.2025 and the beautiful, full, indoor pool has "been closed since COVID." I mean, why is it full? Also, no elevator. Thats important for a lot of people.Rooms are very old, along with the mattresses. For 68, if thats what you can afford, go ahead, just dont expect much.

It smelled of clean fresh laundry. The room was clean and comfortable. It could use some updating. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom the sheets were thin/old but they were clean. The AC didn't work well, thankfully I could open the window for cool air at night and the TV was an older model. Overall everything else was nice. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Staff was friendly and helpful and the price was great.

the unit was dirty, towels were worn, the furniture was old and dirty and looked second-hand, the TV remote was sticking to you hand because it was so dirty, and the pool was closed since COVI.

Clean and spacious room with a comfy (firm) bed. The property overall is dated and could use some updating. I also noticed that windows have not been cleaned in ages. I was somewhat concerned with whether my car was going to be safe overnight, as there were many transients walking through the parking lot, but nothing bad happened.

Dirty, smelly, lamps don’t work, noises all night, TERRIBLE

This is a seriously underrated hotel. I don’t understand why so many people criticize it with such a picky attitude — the reviews are just average, but I believe it deserves five stars. It’s truly affordable, and the attention to detail is great. The cleanliness is outstanding. Although some of the facilities are a bit outdated, they still work fine. It’s excellent value for money, very good, very quiet, and the location is extremely convenient.

Even though the website lists a pool as a feature, I can assure you it is not an operation nor the jacuzzi, which looks like it's been boarded up since the '90s. Rooms were dingy and dirty, moldy bathroom. Other than one staff member who greeted us more money the rest seemed uncaring and unconcerned at my young son's disappointment to learn, there was no pool. Definitely won't be back again

The building itself is a little run down, but the rooms are in great shape, it comes with a fridge and a microwave and the pillows were very comfortable.

The place felt dirty. front desk staff were difficult to get a hold of. The place needs a deep clean. Carpets deep cleaned walls washed. The works. it reminds me of one of those old horror movies, only you have to pay a lot. The chairs seem dirty in the room the ironing board I wouldn’t use even though I wanted to, because it felt dirty. It just feels like it’s very old and needs to be cleaned.

This place was in its prime 40 years ago; unfortunately, it is well past it now. Pool not open. No breakfast. AC didn't work in the one room. Would likely not stay here again.

Cheap. Rooms are big and ac works . The only thing that sucks is their WiFi dosnt work well not enough to get on and use it

Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. No breakfast served was disappointing. The microwave in the room was not plugged in. Needed to move it to plug in and get it to work. Just a few bumps otherwise enjoyed the accommodation

This is an older Hotel that is in need of some TLC. The service was great, the rooms big, somewhat quiet and walking distance to shops and food. The room needed some touch up but everything worked. There was no usb or modern connection for phone and only a few available outlets. This was a good cheap place to stay and then go.

The lamp shades had mysterious red splotches. The hallways smelled and was leaking in various places. The window had many booger like glops on the screen. The TV didnt work, bigger issue then just wrong input. A/C leaked so as the carpet was sopping wet directly in front of the vents.

Rooms are huge and very roomy, beds are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and you can’t beat the price. Please ask your cleaning staff to use Murphy’s Wood Soap or something that cleans well and leaves no strong tacky odors. Besides, there was a recall on Fabuloso. Some kind of bacteria. Real bad for you and makes it hard to breathe. Whenever we stay there we have to air out the room for a few hours. (Besides, when I smell strong odors like that it makes me wonder if they use that to cover up the fact that they are not really cleaning. I know our room wasn’t vacuumed. But at least the bed and towels and sheets were clean!)

This hotel has spacious rooms and a large bathroom, but no amenities: no coffee, no blow dryer, limited towels, broken down bed, old bed cover with tears in it chipped and broken furniture and the like. I didn’t feel unsafe here. I just can’t really recommend it based on the condition of the room I stayed in.

A.c. /heaters need an upgrade and bathroom fan does not vent the steam at all!!! Bed was worn out and uncomfortable! But all in all. Its still the best bang for your buck. Large rooms and bathrooms above all. Step up a notch in your motel! It has hotel potential

The lady who checked us in was absent of any friendliness, I explained I requested a first floor when reserving because of my disability, she proceeded to give us a room on the second floor (no elevators) after 15 minutes of her searching for a new room for, mind you there was 4 vehicles if that parked on the property, we finally got our key. Room was very old but clean. Bed was horrible but lots of pillows. The day while visiting our family I got a call asking if I was checking out, I was a little confused because I booked for two night, paid for two nights. She said there was a note from the night before saying g I was checking out early, I asked her if they had refunded me a night, she said no, I said that’s cause I’m staying two. I asked her would my key still work as they have me checking out she assured me it would that she would fix everything, well as expected when we got back (late) from visiting the family in town our key wouldn’t work. Duh, like I wasn’t already expecting that. When up to the desk again same girl, no apology no nothing except a new key. Check out is late which is nice but we didn’t get to utilize. Cheapest in town.

It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Remember, you get what you pay for. Front staff was very friendly and it was quiet. Wish they had creamer for the coffee but hey free coffee can’t complain. Didn’t really need the AC-we opened the window, but yes it did work. The room was clean.

The staff were great. Some of the guests were noisy... but thankfully it died down after 11pm. The hot water wasn't hot. And the microwave burnt my popcorn. But i was able to do my laundry for 2.50 and it was convenient and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Never in my life have I ever been mistreated so poorly by an establishment. I was previously harassed and discriminated against at Motel 6 in Lompoc. Law enforcement was called and I was recommended I stay at the inn in Lompoc due to its availability, its affordable rates, and it being in a safer part of town. Upon arrival, I spoke kindly to the front desk associate and explained that I was fleeing a sexual abuse and domestic violence incident and my daughter and I were seeking refuse. Not only was I denied an early check in, I was forced to sleep inside of my vehicle in a city notorious for meth and gang activity. Upon waking up, my 8 year old needed to use the restroom. We walked to the front desk and was denied by the front desk associate who was very rude, made some racist remarks, and denied my daughter access to the facilities. She refused to look up my reservation and threatened to call the cops and have me arrested in front of my already traumatized and sexual abuse victim child. Moments later, the front desk agent called the police and canceled my reservation so that the mat force me off the property with my child. I will NEVER forget this kind of treatment because it was unbelievable. Truly devastated and triggered. As a recovering addict, single mother, sexual and domestic abuse victim, and full time employee in the hospitality industry, I would NEVER recommend this to my worst enemy and am in so much mental distress do to these incidents that I’m on the verge of r

Value quiet staff was great

It was a functional clean room, a bit worn and dinged-up, at the lowest price in Lompoc. BUT: The pictures and text said there was a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness room, a public sitting room with a couch and a fireplace and a breakfast room with FULL BREAKFAST shown. NOPE. They closed them all for Covid. They couldn't update the ad in FOUR YEARS?? I was looking forward to a hot soak and a bowl of cereal in the morning. AND WORSE: I booked an extra night and paid cash. They wanted a deposit, so I told them to put the deposit on my credit card. They refused and wanted a $100 CASH deposit. Well, okay. So I gave them a $100 bill. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME A RECIEPT!! Obviously, if you give a stranger a hundred bucks cash, any normal person would want a receipt. They said it was usual practice, and that it was recorded on camera. It's NOT normal, and the camera is for THEIR protection, not mine. This is why I gave a bad customer service review.

we had an inconvenience with the room next-door, went down to see if staff can help. No staff was available in the front counter. told the young lady when I checked out what happened? advertise pool and not in service

Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. The place is really run down. The air conditioner didn’t work properly. Carpet and walls looked old and dirty.

To be honest, the people on the front desk were very lovely and helpful, and the other hand, the housemaid the people that cleaned the house the rooms they stole $100 from me that was inside of a plushy. It was inside of a curb plushy and I did not really appreciate that at all Cause that is my hard work on money.

Convenient location.

While the room was big and everything was clean. There are buses all through the parking lot and a lot of people milling around outside. I’m pretty sure this is used as temporary housing. But there’s nothing to let you know that other than reading the reviews.

Nice hidden gem of a location nestled away in the hills between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo with access just off the pacific coastlines

Room was very nice. Very large and accommodating. Staff was very nice. The only problem we encountered was no towels were in the bathroom for our use. But they apologized and have us what we needed right away. The area had lots of restaurant to choose from. And the drive to Solvang was very straight, easy and under 30 minutes. I would have no problem booking a stay here again.

Close to restaurants. I would say save and go across the street. Deplorable with male guest at every exit every stairwell.

Looked ok in the photos but after seeing the chaos of the parking lot & main entrance I decided to not stay at the inn. There were multiple groups of people milling around the parking giving my car odd looks. As people exchanged “handshakes” some would go in to the inn & then more people would approach & the ritual was repeated. I knew what was going on having grown up a big city.

There was a broken shower head, and toilet. They don't do complimentary breakfast anymore. Also the pool was closed down the entire time

Rooms are ok.. there are cigarettes burned on the comforter. Towels are only 2 and 1 wash cloth. Shower handles are loose and only cold water was coming out on the shower head. Expected some breakfast. Was told last minute there’s no breakfast. Other than that reception was ok.. had a minor hiccup with changing the reservation.. but it worked out..

You can't beat the price. It's a run down property brought back to life by a new owner, it seems. The 4:15 a.m. fire alarm wasn't great. Limited amenities. No coffee in the room or in the lobby. But if you want a bed, internet and a shower, it'll certainly do. The room I stayed in was quite large, too.

I liked my stay here it has upgraded and I had no complaints whatsoever the bed was very comfortable great price and I’d chose to stay here again if ever traveling to Solvang. Coffee and hot water in the front lobby thank you!!!

Everything was great except for a couple of little things: the pillows were lumpy, the bathtub could have been cleaner and it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room rather than having to get dressed and go to office to get a cup of coffee. We would stay there again

Provided bare minimum of necessities. Coffee machine downstairs, but only with sugar packets, no cream or powders. Front door slams upon entry. Door to closet broken and immovable. Easily the Worst stay in 10 years
