My father and I are completing the Route 66 from Illinois to California. We’ve stayed at 8 hotels on this trip; some great and some horrible. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! At first my dad was worried about booking, but the positive reviews and low price made us take a gamble. It was an enjoyable stay and I would return! The beds were comfortable, the pool was clean and refreshing, the staff was kind and accommodating. I don’t have any complaints.

Absolute gem of a place and a total surprise. Booked here just to break up the road trip and what a cool little spot. Nice comfy rooms, good pool, well priced and friendly staff. Been travelling the US for a couple of weeks and this was one of my favourite little places

This hotel served as well as a pitstop on our road trip back from Arizona. The check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly, also the beds were comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning worked very well in the room, which was very important since it was very hot outside. The biggest downside is that the bathtub was kind of dirty, and it didn’t look like it had been thoroughly properly cleaned around the drain in a while. Also, there was no hand soap in the hotel. My friends in their room next to us didn’t have any body wash. I think it would just be nice if their staff insured that the necessary amenities were refilled each time they cleaned.

Stopped our road trip early that day to use what looked like a nice pool. It was dirty and we didn’t go in. The bathtub was stained and cracking, with hair and webs on the bathroom wall. The bed was nice, but we found a couple pieces of hair in the sheets. Overall it was pretty dirty and disappointing.

Older property but clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and easy checkin. Very comfortable beds. Will definitely stay here again. Our only (minor) issue is the lack of coffee in the room. I have read the management's rsponse to other's comments, and I agree that most motel room coffee is pretty terrible. However we have stayed in other motels in this price range that provided mini-Keurig pots in the rooms.

Two different room have large gaps in the entry door caused by the sun. Killed 8 small flies in room. Put a towel in the door to close the gap. Woke up by the train once. Shower had great pressure. Good TV channels.

The hotel is convenient for a one night stop while traveling and the price is good. However, hotel is old, walls are thin. I would suggest staying in a room on the top floor. We stayed in a ground floor room and could hear everything above us. The shower sounded like it was in our room...very loud at 4:00 am. Front desk personnel were friendly.

On arrival the room was very hot. The AC was off. The ice bucket was missing the plastic liner. Went down to the office and was told they have no access to the supplies. Also no response to the room being hot. I booked the room well in advance and prepaid. It got into the 90's and the room faces the late afternoon sun. Took 3 hours for it to become bearable. Probably my last stay here.

Very comfortable, pleasant. You should know that the many trains which go through Needles can be seen from here, and you might feel their vibrations, but they don’t blow their horns or such. I like the trains! We got room 230 on purpose so we could see trains.

The room was well appointed HOWEVER within an hour of checking in the main water main to the hotel was ruptured and we were without water. I understand some things happen beyond your control but mgmt did NOTHING. Puchasing a palette of gal water to help us flush the toilets is the LEAST they could have done. Even an apology? NOTHING!

Late arrival – and the staff was wonderful. Walked me to my room and make sure I understood everything. Night watch of the parking lot; nice pool and sauna. There was a great restaurant within walking distance – incredible food for a little spot like this in the middle of nowhere love it! Highly recommend.

The welcome from the staff was very friendly, and helpful in getting settled and finding dining options (right across the street, excellent.). Pet friendly, which will please other friends travelling through the area! I will recommend. Right off the interstate, but quiet, with occasional train rumble in the far distance.

Extremely well kept property and very coirteous and pleasant staff. Nice pool and amenities available at lobby. Restauraunt across the street had great home cooking and offered a discount for hotel guests. Much better experience than our recent stays at the larger chains

Extremely well kept property and very coirteous and pleasant staff. Nice pool and amenities available at lobby. Restauraunt across the street had great home cooking and offered a discount for hotel guests. Much better experience than our recent stays at the larger chains

We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the Rio del Sol Inn was. It is off the freeway and must be well insulated, because we got a great night's sleep. The room was fairly spacious and a good restaurant is within walking distance.n the morning they provided a bagged continental breakfast.

This small hotel was a really great find. It was comfortable, clean, and inexpensive. Their hospitality area was nice - complimentary Tea or Coffee available in the lobby as well as a pastry or granola bar to start the day was a pleasant surprise. The hotel staff were friendly and well informed about the area. Would definitely stay there again if in the area!!

Nice little place to stay for a night to get some rest while traveling. No frills, but exceptionally clean, amazing desk attendant, super comfy pillows and good sized TV! Breakfast consisted of honey buns, cereal bars, yogurt, etc. We would atay here again!

I am so happy I stayed at this hotel. Very clean. Conveniently located off the freeway - easy access. Gas station nearby. Food within walking distance. Bed very comfortable. Free WiFi and a TV that worked! The coffee and tea station in the lobby was well-stocked and the coffee was delicious and hot! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I travel with a senior dog and this place is Pet friendly!! I am extremely happy I stayed here. Way better than a Motel6!!!

Basically a bed to sleep on. Not as the reviews made it sound. Very nice staff. Clean. Great handicap shower, but it is an old property that could use a lot of upkeep.
