Too noisy from vehicle racing on Mission Ave. late at night--On my departure day two young hispanic teen girls bothered me with loud voices and blaring cell phone in the lobby when I was trying to check out and find out about when the deposit would be returned to my visa card. I was on the 4th floor and no ice machine on this level.

Wish I knew this hotel was undergoing renovations bc i would not have stayed there. The sticky paint and fumes had not even disappeared yet. Girl was fast asleep at front desk at 8pm when i went to get towels. Overall good stay with friendly greeting. Just chaotic and the picture was definitely better than the in person presentaion. I prefer rooms that you enter from inside for safety just FYI....these are outside entry rooms. I learned for next time im in San Diego!

I was booked into a room whose bathroom was under heavy construction. Tiles ripped up, tub drains and fixtures uninstalled, plumbing tools on the floor. I didn’t discover this for about ten minutes after getting into the room, when I thought I might like to take a shower. Thank god I hadn’t fully unpacked. My room was changed (I had to pack up and revisit the office; no staff came to me) and the replacement room was ok. Cleaning staff in the morning came twice to my door and asked if (#1) I needed towels and if I was checking out today, and (#2) if I was checking out today. This is nagging to remind me to leave on time and although you folks are running a large ‘budget’ business, it was not appreciated. Overall my stay was adequate but a little less than expected,

I cut my foot on a tile in the bathroom. That was broken. The ice machines didn't work. The air conditioner barely worked. It was a horrible stay and I'll never stay there again.

staff is beyond rude and tries to keep the deposit over things that have nothing to do with the room. not only do they require a copy of everyone’s ID, but they then go to tell you that you can’t have guests over. each floor has a washer and dryer along with an ice machine and vending machine, although more than half of them were “out of order” at the time.

This hotel has no lobby. Just a tiny room with a counter surrounded by a glass panel. It looks like they are preventing robbery or something like that. If you check in after 10 pm, you have to put $200 cash deposit. It takes 3 to 5 business days to return your deposit if you use a credit card. This hotel is a motel. Run down and in desperate need of a refresh. The rooms smell musty and triggered my whole family’s allergies. The bathroom is old and dirty feeling. Patches over the tub, mold on the tiles, water damage to the walls. No body soap in the shower, just an empty container. The ironing board was filthy as well as the remote. The furniture was all dinged up.

We reserved two rooms. Our first room smelled like a rotting carcass and the second room smelled like a tobacco factory even though the property is strictly non-smoking. They only had one other room available, and after moving to that room, we were bitten by fleas all night. This facility was deplorable. We had a long drive and were exhausted otherwise we would have left immediately and found something else. The staff was courteous and apologized but the rooms were truly disgusting.

Room a/c did not work, with fan or a/c mode, room maintained 80-84 degree temperatures ( I called at 2 am, when checking out the desk person had no idea of complaint) Tub was dirty, mattress was very bad, hard, and you can feel every spring in your back. If only needed for minimal sleep and nothing else it meets bare minimal, that’s it. Not recommended.

Strange place they make you feel like you are staying in a very bad neighborhood by the way the treat you st check in. Very small parking lot lot laughable “breakfast”. Separate I.D. Required for each room key they give you. Otherwise the room was clean the place was pretty quiet and the girl at the front desk was nice

The property owner requires a deposit of $200 per room. I travel regularly and expect a nominal deposit for incidentals, but the $200 deposit is obviously for potential room damage and not incidental charges. That's pretty cheesy. When I wanted to extend my stay, they wanted a second $200 deposit. That was ridiculous, but it got worse. I couldn't use the same credit card and they have a policy to only accept cash. After complaining, the desk clerk spoke with the owner to allow me to use a different credit card for the second deposit. I'm a paying guest and I don't like being treated like a thief or a vandal. I won't be staying there again even though I will regularly need to stay in Oceanside from time to time.

The hotel was satisfactory. However, they have a policy, that they give guest who book through one of the internet services NO warning of (!!) which requires a $200 cash deposit for stays over 3 days. And you then have to wait 15-30 minutes at checkout (while a housekeeper checks your room) to get it back. I feel this is a very bad approach to customer satisfaction, given that the customer is blindsided by the demand. I will likely never stay here again: I understand the need to protect the business, but customers MUST be warned of a policy like this, which is so out of keeping with normal hotel policies. (There is an ATM in their lobby -- which I did not need to use, as it happens. But that means ATM fees and all that. Another inappropriate burden on guests.)

The staff was completely rude during checkout. We had called the front desk to get a late check out and they said it would be ok to check out at 11:30. At 11:34 as we were leaving with bags in our hands the office staff was demanding for us to leave and that we needed to be gone at 11. I mentioned about our late check out and she then demanded again for us to leave as we were telling her we are leaving. I have never been treated like this at any hotel and it was very unprofessional.

If you don’t mind walking, it was close enough to downtown to walk. We took an Uber for dinner and walked back. One freeway on-ramp to negotiate, but it wasn’t horrible. Parking downtown is horrible so it was nice to leave the vehicle at the hotel.

Staff was very l helpful in getting portable crib for my infant. Listing said they provided breakfast but immediately upon booking received a messaged from the property saying the didn’t. I guess enough people complained about this because the front desk staff offered us snacks in the morning. The lack of breakfast wasn’t an issue for us and our schedule! Would stay again if in Oceanside.

With the location close to the ocean, the rate is very affordable. As far as the room, its clean. We expected that there will be a free breakfast but the hotel we stayed in, they didn't provide it.

I didn’t like being told that I had to pay a deposit of $200 if by card I had to use my debit and it wouldn’t be returned for over two weeks I also didn’t like all of the posting of demand and conditions in the lobby like we were at a low budget pay by the hour place as well as being told a list of asinine rules we felt uncomfortable and bullied and to top it off there was suppose to be coffee fruit and muffins in the lobby in the morning and there was nothing excuse being there was nothing restocked

The showers are awkward so there was water always on the floor when we showered since the curtain was like “u” shape kinda but overall better than average! It’s like high end motel tbh. Breakfast would’ve been awesome and they can’t control the street but there’s an inconvenient median right outside. Aside from that it was great. would return.

I was a little skeptical at first because of the google reviews! But it all turned out nice ! Sucks they don't have breakfast compared to other hotels with the same price!! Other than that all good

The pillows were small and the bed was hard. Also only One ice machine worked and was at the bottom floor. Staff was great. Just needs more comfort.

When I checked in they told me the room would not be ready till later in the afternoon. I asked if they had a bathroom I could use as I just traveled from Long Beach CA. She said no they don't have one. The toilet was very poor at flushing and I had to have maintenance come to fix it and it still was not acceptable. The comp breakfast was nothing other then a banana or a granola bar. The guy working at the counter has no knowledge of anything must have been new.

Had to book last minute and this was available. I booked this place and arrived an hour later. The front desk was nice. The bathroom has some moldy tiles but we just needed a shower and 2 beds to sleep in. The beds were cozy and we slept well. The shower pressure was a bit low but can’t complain. We walked over to a coffee shop for breakfast next door which was good coffee and food. They do not do breakfast at this Inn.
