Lovers Point Inn

For the cost of the room, the amenities were the worst I've ever found. One tiny horrible bar of soap, watered-down pump soap in the shower, super thin washcloths and towels. No plugs except one with a 6-plug unit plugged over one outlet at the sink. Lucky I had a long phone charger cord. Won't stay there again! Plus I told all the people I was with not to stay there unless they could bear this part. It was truly ridiculous. The staff was lovely, though. Parking was great. Right next to the downtown. So, were it not for the other parts, it would have been totally great and convenient.

It was a very smooth stay with my aunt and 2 girls, the room was clean, the staff was accommodating and friendly, the beach was right across the street, and a short stroll to downtown pacific grove.

Loved everything

I reserved and paid ahead for a 2 QUEEN bed room. When we arrived I noticed right away the beds seemed much smaller. I have a queen bed myself so I know how my husband and I fit on one...we laid down to be sure and there was NO WAY they were queens. We had our 3 children with us who normally fit just fine with a queen bed at other hotels/inns. I went to the office and the man at the counter said "mmm no it should be a queen what's your room number?...ya it should be a queen". Not wanting to create trouble I left it alone but regretted it because one of my kids ended up having to sleep on the hardwood floor! Im sure the beds were a double/full...my husband and I were basically falling off the edges all night as well and we are normal size people. Very disappointed and will NOT be returning. Definitely not worth what I paid.

Lots of parking availability.. love that it was really close to the beach!
