Cottage Inn by the Sea

The "breakfast" is more like a low grade starbucks counter with ready-made items but few choices. The room was great, we stayed on the second level and were impressed with the vaulted ceilings and open feel. The property seemed older with small items like the toilet seat was crooked, the towel holder was loose on the wall, etc. overall it was quiet, staff was pleasant, and you can't beat the location.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The views are spectacular, and there’s direct beach access to the Pismo Beach pier, which was amazing. The only downside was that we stayed on the ground floor, and the room above us had children running and jumping late at night. Around midnight, the noise became unbearable, making it very difficult to fall asleep

Clean room, excellent ocean view. Our stay would have been perfect but for the construction going on at the next door property. I could excuse construction during the week, but we did not appreciate waking up on a Saturday morning to loud pounding noise.

Great hotel with awesome amenities!

The room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. I like that there is a fireplace in the room, along with a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. There is a great outdoor area to take in the ocean and enjoy your morning coffee.
