Motel 6-Pismo Beach, CA

Staff was super friendly but the window in the room was literally broken like pieces were missing and the door only locked from the inside didnt realize til i came back that you could just open it with no key .was too tired to complain. Cops were also there twice in 1 night anx patrolling the parking lot as i checked in

The location was fine, nothing fancy and basic. That’s okay. However, the room I stayed in (115) was disgusting. The window was damaged and you couldn’t see out as if it was previously painted over? The room itself was so rancid with the strong smell of cigarettes and marijauna, it was in the bedding, the ventilation as well. I had to go get my own blankets and pillows to sleep properly because the smell on the fabric was so strong. The walls were super dirty and had marks, food drippings or whatever it was all over them. The shower was dirty and the bathroom was not great. There was residual trash under the bed, I didn’t far go on my hands and knees due to the condition of the floors, they were sticky, and dirty which left my socks black. The shining star of this stay was that there were zero refrigerator or microwave in the room itself, which I find odd as most motels will provide one for use. Overall a terrible stay at this motel 6, and normally I’m not one to complain or judge a motel 6, it’s for cost saving measure and expectations are on the floor with all the dirt and grime of this room. Overall I’ll stay at another hotel when in the pismo beach area.

This is our second time staying here. The staff is friendly and polite and parking is a breeze. The property is clean and quiet.

Yes, parking was good. Our 3 nigh stay was changed to 1. No coffee in rooms. Nothing extra. Went without shoes in the room for 30 mins, bottom of my feet were black. Floors no carpet.
