Pool and Hottub were not working. This was a reason to book this hotel. The area of the hotel wss shady.

The girl at the front desk was fantastic and the free hot breakfast was decent. Unfortunately our room was very rundown and not so clean. The bathroom in particular had fixtures falling down and mold everywhere. The general state of the entire hotel is rundown, definitely a lack of proper maintenance or remodel. The hot tub didn’t work and the elevator was questionable, actually breaking and a woman stuck inside from the maids crew when we were leaving! It is well situated near the freeway and several fast food options, like McDonalds, Starbucks etc… it’s not the worst, but not great by any means. I will say, the exact same room next to ours that my friend occupied was a little better.

It was advertised that there was a hot tub at this hotel. When I asked the front desk she actually giggled and said it hadn't been working in months. The room was comfortable, but the carpet was very dirty, as was the hallway and elevator. All in all a little depressing looking. It needs a good scrubbing and a little love.

We stayed in the family room. The bottom bunks mattress felt like it was broken in half. Many of the electrical plates felt like they were coming out of the wall, broke or didn’t work. No chair for the desk. The tv was in a weird spot. The breakfast was okay. Just your basic. The staff was super nice and accommodating. NOT ENOUGH PARKING

The hot tub was broke

For a quick overnight this hotel is ok wouldn’t want to spend more than that here. The shower handle fell off in my hand, the bathroom was gross, missing caulking, weird stains all over. The kitchenette sink still had food in the drain. The pool was dirty. Like I said for a quick overnight just to sleep it’s ok.

Terrible. No parking. Room smelled musty with a strange odor. Was told by the service desk to park down the street or in a handicapped parking stall as there is always minimal parking. This was a large facility hotel with 3 floors of rooms. They only had about 30 parking spaces and 6 people took 2 parking spaces. Nothing on the website regarding this issue. I parked in handicapped and was not pleased in doing that at all.

Room 312 had a broken shower head holder, meaning, it takes an extra hand to shower. Told the manager but he didn't offer us to move to another room. All good intentions on their remodel of room but it fall short of what could be a 'good remodel'. Also, no hot water in the jacuzzi but the jets worked fine.

The entire hotel had a complete cigarette smell. Both rooms had something wrong. A lamp cover was ripped and broken. Stains were on the bedsheets. The kitchen sink was clogged so water was not going down. There was no hotel working phone in one of the rooms. In my mother in law's room with my three kids there were construction going on where it was difficult for them to sleep through. So much noise coming from the other rooms as they were thin. This was by far the worst hotel experience we've had. I went for a walk outside the premises and it smelt like urine, trash was everywhere, and it definitely felt unsafe. I also used the fitness center one morning where equipment was broken.

I called before completing the booking to ask if the hot tub was working and they assured me that it was. I asked again when I was checking in and they assured me yes. Then when I’m all in my bathing suit, I find out that it’s absolutely cold and they literally lied to my face. Then they promised me a manager would fix it in the morning and then the person at the front desk in the morning laughed at me because there is no manager on Saturdays. The most unbelievable unprofessional experience at a hotel I have ever had. They will not give me a refund. They literally tricked me into getting the room because the only reason I went was for the hot tub. So I sat in this dingy room with a tiny TV where paints peeling off the walls and all this awful remodeling and I still didn’t even get to use the hot tub.

Everything was dirty and stinky I didn’t like it at all the room smells with bugs and cockroaches killers substance the AC couldn’t set it and it was dirty the sink was right next the bed. The breakfast ends at 9h30 even in the summer and weekends honestly I didn’t expect that it would be terrible for a room above 100$ it should at least clean I won’t visit it again

Our room was DISGUSTING. We knew there was going to be issues when walking down the hall there was a trail of half eaten bread slices that started right next to the reception desk. When we walked into the room there was an offputting odor. We were on the first floor and windows were left open, (this is not a great neighborhood). Fire sprinklers were wrapped in plastic. Overall didn’t feel like a safe place to be. Mold in the bathroom and kitchen. Piles of dirt and hair left in the corners of bathroom and kitchen area. Food and toothpaste on the walls. Shower had sticky crap on the floors and walls. Food was still on provided utensils. Old coffee left in the pot. We brought in sleeping bags because we didn’t trust the cleanliness of the bedding. Which was CHEAP. The room was in disrepair with the dresser and microwave missing pieces and smashed in. The toilet made an unholy noise with every flush. When I spoke to management they refunded the night and blamed renovation for the condition of the room… I think otherwise. Anyways this place is a Dumpster Fire.

It was just one night so it was no big deal but the room was in pretty bad shape, carpet was dirty and stained and made the room smell pretty bad. There was hairs in the main bed and the shower/tub had some serious mold in the edges, there was bugs in the kitchenette.

The room I had was not cleaned very well. Disgusting stuff on the blanket that had someone else’s hair stuck to it, hair on the toilet that was not mine, pink mold on the shower head, and the water was cold in the shower to top it off.

Cockroaches in the room, hair and dust everywhere, very dirty. Couldn't stay the night, ended up leaving and booking a different hotel.

Room was dirty , silverware was dirty . Blood stains on the box spring , outlets didn’t work

Possibly the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff was friendly but the entire place smelled like stale food. Room was not clean on arrival. Handle on microwave partially broken. Towel rack barely secure.

The room was dirty. There were hairs all over the bathroom and a plastic cup wedged in behind the TV. Looks like the room was just surface cleaned but had a very bad smell to it.

Bathroom was not cleaned, floor of bathroom had hair from last guest and crap under the seat, which was disgusting! Floor of hallway was dirty, visible trash. Elevator smelled like crap one day, like someone crapped in it. Not happy with our stay, would not stay again nor recommend it.

The place is filty from carpet to bed, linens, towels, furnitures etc. No enough parking space and staff are not so accomodating.. Sorry but Will never come bacl

This place came with a huge fridge and a huge room .. furniture was a bit out dated and was very worn out but over all ok stay

The shower head fell off during the 1st shower. The outlets sparked when we plugged in our chsrgers. The outlets on the lamps were coming out of the lamp & sparked, too. The access to the freeway was excellent. There is a gas station across the street, McDonald's & Taco Bell next door. The room was spacious and clean. It had an apartment size fridge, microwave, sink, dish drainer, coffee pot & pots & pans!! They serve breakfast & the girls enjoyed the pool.

It was a clean and quiet room recently updated bathroom, new walk in shower and fixtures, the rest of the room could use the same updating tired could use a a pop of color and updated furniture.

Close to where we wanted to be. Furniture was broken and drawer was missing, no fan in bathroom, very noisy from rooms above.

We were told that the room we stayed in was recently renovated. The beds were very comfortable, the shower looked new. However, there was no phone in the room, no tissues (no storage in the bathroom for the tissues) The utensil drawers have no back to them, so utensils fell down to the cupboard of pans. The A/C fan made an awful noise, like leaves fluttering inside all night. With that said, we found overall that the room was clean, the pool was clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast and the staff was kind and helpful

Large room

It is being renovated, but not our room. The carpet was sticky and smelled like pet urine and dampness. The AC did not work well. Cooking was not possible given there was no vent fan. Wasted groceries because of this. Kids bed was uncomfortable, but the main bed was great. Pillows were lumpy. Pool didn’t look clean so we didn’t use it. It was pretty rough, even with how low the price was.

Very dated, room (I think it was the carpet) smelled terrible. We asked the front for an extra pillow and never got it. Bed was not comfortable.

Like the price, the room size was ample, nicely renovated, newer upgraded bathroom, small kitchenette if needed. The provided breakfast was very good, no complaints. The downside, which I really needed, is there was no internet as advertised despite trying for over an hour to login on my laptop using the password that was provided, and the wireless signal was weak. Because I was only in the room in the evenings I was frustrated being unable to do work. Last thing, the view of the sea containers wasn't too exciting. Hope the next time is better.

Hotel room was clean and nice to have a little kitchenette. Staff not overly friendly. They don't greet you, the staff at desk doesn't even give eye contact. The kitchen staff for breakfast just look at you when you walk up. No Hello. How can I help you. This is our daily special, even tho there was a sign that said what the special was.But, no greetings. Anyone can go in and out of hotel, no security. Someone's car got broken into during the night, broken car window glass all over parking lot. I don't know if I would stay here again. Maybe upper management is not great, cookie rolls downhill. Not so good management, not so good staff. McDonald's and TacoBell next door.

Staff is amazing. Very accommodating and very kind.

Older property with spacious room. Was doing construction upgrades and some of the parking was taken due to containers in those spots. Didn’t even hear the construction process during my stay. Has a McDonald’s and Subway within walking distance. Starbucks and a Am/ Pm are in the same walking distance. Nice little outdoor pool and spa. Has a really good breakfast in the am. Staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs. Housekeeping will only come if you ask for it during your stay. I was ok with this. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet and very convenient property location.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The property is nice and the free breakfast is fantastic.

Front desk was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with plenty of towels and the esthetic of the room after their renovation was beautiful

The room was quite nice, extra large and fairly well equipped with a small but real coffee maker (as opposed to those terrible little keurig knockoffs) My one complaint is that if you book through Expedia, you don't get a receipt/invoice - not from Expedia (they tell you to get it at the hotel) and not from the hotel - they say they don't have access to the bill/payment. After a lengthy discussion with the clerk, she weirdly printed a piece of paper with the hotel name and address but no actual information such as the cost, date, etc. Just to emphasize what she was trying to say about "we don't have access" I guess. So stupid!

Decent Hotel ! Not as nice as the pictures ! Most of the people/employees behind the check in desk were nice and friendly. ( except the ine lady that seemed always grumpy and inconvenienced by people asking questions ) Definitely needs some updates and modernization but it’s not so bad. - it’s in a nice quiet area. Third floor is great. No guests above. My room was at the end of the hallway on the corner. A little outdated here and there but overall is ok. Hallway was always in need of vacuuming for the whole week that i stayed there. Has some issues that need to be addressed; ( door wouldnt lock with the dead bolt but that inside latch worked and kept the door locked/secure )( opening in the door jamb and lock wasnt lining up and matching. The AC/Heater unit was fairly new and quiet and worked great. The breakfast was good; waffles, coffee, juice, muffins, bagels, toast and a few other items that were behind some tables that you had to ask one of the staff to give you … omelet, potato wedges, tater tots, salami slices …. not all of these available every morning but i guess they were rotating the offers for each morning. ((( this was the weird part, that you had to ask someone dor what you wanted…. the lady was kind of snappy with some guests ….and always on her phone….. i guess this is one way to keep costs down ))) I will look for something different next time, but it was ok for price and not too far from Sacramento where i had some meetings.

Staff was very polite but amenities were poor. Upon arrival we learned that due to some issue our room was downgraded but I will say that staff was very polite and accommodating. The staff accommodated rollaway bed in the room. However, we had to go to the front desk with our dirty towels and ask for new ones in return. That's what the front lady told us. Secondly, the room was very dirty, I had to wipe the drawers to put in my stuff. Thirdly, the shower door didn't close properly and there is no place in the shower area to place bathing accessories. I am not sure if I will be coming here again, if Iwould then it would be for the very polite and respectful staff.

A little sketchy area. People hanging out late hours outside. Nice staff. Nice cleaning staff. Old hotel poor and warn out furniture. The parking was bad. Not enough room and we had to park in a McDonald’s restaurant on a number of occasions.

Really close to shopping and easy in and out quiet nice area

Pros: Quiet property, safe area, pleasant stay, fantastic water pressure, room had a full kitchen and a sofa, breakfast on site, walkable to the American River Con: Pet upcharge of $30 per pet per night is STEEP Info: the property is undergoing renovation to freshen furnishings. Our room had not been done yet. It's going to be great when it's completed!

Budget friendly, clean, quiet, great service, free hot breakfast and fresh fruit, very close to American River bike trail for great biking, a few restaurants nearby by car.

Hotel is great, especially for the price point. Room is nice, shower is spacious and upgraded from what you would expect. The only bummer, and it's samll, is the hot food for the breakfast is kept behind a table and only served by the lady who is there. I guess its a way to cut down on someone piling up their plate, but its awkward waiting and having to get her attention to come over to serve you. Been to other similar chains, and same stuff (scrambled eggs, sausage, etc) is out for everyone to take, but with a sign "One serving per guest" or something like that. The time and money spent having her stop what she is doing makes no sense, especially when you then notice that she hasn't had time to restock other items.

Really nice hotel in a very quiet area. Great staff, and breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, and a waffle maker. Also cereal, fruit- something for everyone. The bathroom could use some paint , no silverware in the kitchenette, but otherwise a great place

The staff is friendly and ready to solve problems. The breakfast needs to be better. Toaster only half worked and the “Hot” eggs were lukewarm.

Good, full breakfast with several options.

For the price it was what I expected. Breakfast could have had a little more variety. They are in the process of renovating so once they are finished it should be more updated.
