The property was perfect. The lack of room service or even an in-house restaurant/cafe over the Christmas period was grossly disappointing - some prior notice would of been helpful.

It was a shame that the cafe, restaurant and bar had closed down so there were no options to eat or drink in the hotel and also missed having a gym. The room was lovely and the beach view beautiful. The staff were very polite and helpful. It just missed on a few of the facilities.

I would say this is just average for the money. I would have expected more quality finishes, better towels, complimentary water, quality shower for over $600 per night. TV is poorly placed for watching from bed. 3 stars only

We did this stay as a last minute thing for my 40th birthday. The staff that welcomed us was amazing and they did some special things for my birthday too. Great room and location, walk out in the morning on to the beach! Amazing!

Smaller more intimate hotel, in a great location opposite this beach. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and this warmth continued throughout our whole stay. The whole team were superb we stayed for nine nights and I was travelling with my elderly father who has mobility difficulties. A shower chair had been place in the bathroom for him and my sofa bed was readily made for our arrival. The hotel staff were happy for a hired mobility scooter to be delivered and they held it for us in their storeroom until we checked in. The location was perfect and was only a short stroll to the ferry terminal which we were also able to use with the mobility scooter or wheelchair. It was so nice to have the balcony and a safe and comfortable base where we could relax after busy days sightseeing. Thank you all so much it was very much appreciated.

Smaller more intimate hotel, in a great location opposite this beach. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly and this warmth continued throughout our whole stay. Great location. Would stay again in beach view room. BUT, our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly (biscuit on floor near toilet & bath filthy). Staff promptly sent someone to clean. Notified hotel of our early arrival as we knew check-in was 3pm. Fair enough, Arrived 8am after long flight. Check-out is 11am. So rooms would start being cleaned at that time. Told they’d contact when a room was available. We went for a coffee and long walk (perfect location to do this). Returned 12:30. Waited in lobby. Waited out the front. Kept waiting. Staff said room should be ready soon (on several occasions) By 2pm someone offered us water and we discovered a water fountain we could have used ourselves the entire time. We were told it could be 10 or 20 mins more. Finally given our room at 3pm. Check-in time! IF someone had just said no early check-in we could understand, but to wait and wait and be told repeatedly ‘the room should be ready soon” made the wait worse. Staff in reception lovely to chat with and we are friendly. Perhaps we should have complained or become angry, as those types of people seem to get action. Disappointed after a 15 hour flight to have a 7 hour wait for check-in, after being told a room should be ready around midday after checkout & cleaning. Then to discover the room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly made it worse.

I recently stayed at Peppers and enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean from my room. Waking up to the most spectacular sunrise! The staff were super helpful, as my bag was lost and they let me have a slightly later check out. Great location as well…

Excellent welcome by all staff Staff professional test personal Room light spacious clean with excellent kitchen amenities Hotel pool and spa -pool comfortable warm spa hot and effective Location excellent close to shops restaurants walking distance to ferry where you can jump on bus and visit scenic north head and quarantine station - a significant part of Sydney history. Equally jump on a ferry and enjoy a Sydney harbour ride and explore Sydney cbd. Manly beach and local walks right outside hotel. Awesome value for money.if visiting Manly will be hard pressed to find accommodation equal to Peppers
